In 1984, The Hayday Corporation started a new company called Hayday Entertainment. The company had always worked in farming and medicine, but now they wanted to bring more fun and excitement to families and kids. With this new branch, Hayday hoped to improve its image and be known for more than just its usual business. They opened restaurants, parks, and arcades all around the USA and the UK, these had animatronics as the main attraction. Inspired by the popular Chuck E. Cheese animatronics, Hayday Entertainment made their own, using advanced technology that was better than their competitors. Alexander Golovachov oversaw the making of these animatronics, ensuring each one was innovative and high-quality. These advanced animatronics quickly made them stand out and become a strong competitor. Over the years, their designs and features got better and better. However, despite their success, the company faced big problems, like gas leaks and strange disappearances. These issues eventually forced them to shut down Hayday Entertainment in 1995. The parent company, Hayday Corporation, had to deal with the fallout, hiring lawyers to handle lawsuits from people affected by the problems.
In 2018, 23 years later, Hayday Entertainment reopened with new and improved technology. Remembering the success of their animatronics in the past, they created new ones. At first, they made prototypes to test and fix any problems. Once the prototypes were working perfectly, Hayday Entertainment focused on their final, improved animatronics. After finishing the new animatronics, Hayday Entertainment reopened their restaurants and arcades. However, they decided not to bring back their parks since they weren’t as popular. By focusing on their most successful attractions, they aimed to regain their former glory.
The business flourished and became even more popular than before. But then, tragedy struck the parent company. Several workers died after being exposed to dangerous chemicals. An investigation uncovered illegal experiments and unsafe materials in their products. The CEO of Hayday Corporation was arrested and held responsible. This led to the permanent shutdown of the company, leaving Hayday Entertainment to operate alone under Alexander Golovachov’s leadership.
Alexander grew busier, especially since he was raising his son, Nikolai, on his own after losing his wife in the Hayday Corporation tragedy. He often brought Nikolai to work, where his son would sometimes fix or work on the animatronics. Nikolai’s natural talent made Alexander proud. Hayday Entertainment struggled to regain the public’s trust after the parent company’s downfall. Then, years later, the main warehouse where animatronics were made and stored caught fire. Alexander tragically lost his life in the fire but managed to save Nikolai, who was 17 at the time. With no clear leader, Hayday Entertainment shut down for good, marking the end of both the company and its parent corporation.
Nikolai kept many of the items that survived the fire, treasuring them as reminders of his father’s work. He styled his belongings to reflect the circus and arcade themes of Hayday Entertainment, honoring Alexander’s legacy. Later, he bought a warehouse in America to store these items and continued tinkering with the animatronics and scrap parts as a hobby. Before Nikolai turned 18, he moved to Karakura, drawn by the town’s unique charm and stories. He brought his most valuable belongings and some parts from Hayday Entertainment, keeping his father’s memory alive while settling down in Japan, Karakura.
