In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
A nurse is responsible for taking care of any students who are injured, whether it’s from a fight, an accident like... school fights or silly tripping, or feeling unwell due to illness! Nurses assess the situation, provide treatment, and if the injury is related to a fight, they will inform SLT if necessary or issue detentionn slips. In emergency cases, nurses will do their best to stabilize and treat the student while calling for hospitaal assistance or notifying the hospital about a student who may need to be admitted later, such as if a student has broken a limb.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
My roleplay journey began about seven years ago when I got my first phone and started playing roleplay on mobile games and roleplaying on various Roblox games for 3-4 years. Before discovering SRP, I gained roleplaying experience on various Minecraft servers. I found SRP at the end of 2021 and have been involved in the community ever since, with some breaks in between. On SRP, I’ve had a wide range of role playing experiences:
BIRD:
For a while, I roleplayed as a bird. I played with different types of birds in all kinds of scenarios. Each one had its own personality and quirks, which made this a fun and unique way to experience roleplay. Whether it be a serious situation or being silly and flying up to people's windows, it definitely is an experience in itself.
DOGS:
I’ve also roleplayed various types of dogs, whether it was as part of a family, as a stray dog, or as a service dog - it was all super interesting to roleplay. I still occasionally roleplay as a dog, though it’s not as active a part of my roleplay now as it used to be.
GANGRP:
I had the opportunity to roleplay in a gang, which introduced me to a more intense and structured style of roleplay. Unfortunately, time zone differences made it difficult to be as active as I wanted, but I still got to participate in training sessions and some GangRP scenarios. This not only gave me a better understanding of GangRP, but it also showed me the interesting and fun side of it.
?-GRADES:
I’ve roleplayed as students from 7th grade all the way to 12th grade, and each character has their own distinct personality. Right now, I have one active 7th-grade character, two active 12th-grade characters, and one currently inactive 8th-grade character. Each character is extremely different! For example, I have a confident, quiet but cold-hearted 12th-grader, while my 7th-grader is very silly but mute. My 8th-grader has a bunch of mental health problems, and my other 12th-grader is the definition of "lore" if it was a person. What I’m trying to say is that even if they’re all teenagers, each character makes the roleplaying experiences so different but equally interesting and fun! ^-^
EMS:
Since my application was accepted on the 10th of August, I’ve been part of the EMS team, which has become one of my favorite things to roleplay. I almost... always look forward to logging in as my EMS character, as it allows me to experience an entirely different side of roleplay - one that’s challenging, rewarding, and highly engaging. I just love ems.. heh.
BUSINESS & SHOP:
I’ve also been part of a shop and am currently involved in two businesses. These experiences have shown me how much I enjoy being part of organized teams and contributing to something bigger. Unfortunately, my time in the shop was limited due to timezone differences, but I’ve learned that running a shop/restaurant is something I’d love to do one day, in a serious way, and not just a tiny dream that everyone had as a greenie.. As for the businesses, I enjoy having my own tasks and responsibilities and knowing that my contributions make a difference. Right now, I’m part of Hoshino Production and Karakura Komics. I’m especially excited about being part of Karakura Komics from the very start, watching it grow, and contributing to its success!!

Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
When I first joined, I was inspired by the school faculty and thought it would be amazing to be part of that team someday. Even back when I was a greenie, it became one of my goals. Achieving my EMS dream has been such a great experience. And now that I have planned a small family with my best friend, it's just the perfect timing to pursue another dream on SRP: becoming part of the school employee faction. This role would bring so many fun and new roleplay opportunities and let me try something completely different. As a nurse, I could use some of my EMS experience, where I’ve handled tougher and more complicated tasks.. However nursing is still very different, with its own kind of roleplay, which is what excites me the most !

Situations

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
Nijat would likely remain silent and try to ignore them. However, if the student continues, starts yelling, doesn't stop, or uses inappropriate language, he would calmly tell them, without wanting to cause himself any unnecessary stress, that they will receive a detention slip if they say one more disrespectful word. If they continue even after receiving the detention slip, he would warn them and try to walk away. If the student continues and follows him, he would warn the student twice at most before getting SLT involved.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
He would immediately step in to separate them, ensuring the fight stops. Once they’ve calmed down, he would ask each student individually why they were fighting, encouraging them to explain calmly. Depending on the reason for the fight, he would issue detention slips. If one of the students refuses to co-operate or continues to act out, he would radio for another worker, if none are available or they even continue to act out after that, he'd get SLT involved. And after solving the fight, he’d go to the nurses office with them, if they need treatment.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
This really depends on the situation... ^-^" But nijat would probably, first, record them, and once he had proof, he would ask the other school employees what they were doing. Depending on the employee's reaction, he would respond accordingly. If the employee became defensive and tried to deny their actions, Nijat would remain calm and say something like: "This is a serious issue, and I will be reporting it to SLT.” If the employee continues the dangerous behavior, he would give them one last chance to correct themselves, and to stop, as well as explaining why they’re having this inappropriate behavior. However, if they just keep doing it or become hostile, he wouldn’t hesitate to involve SLT.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
Nijat acts calm, but extroverted and very outgoing. He loves to be around people, and is silly with the ones he enjoys company with. While most of the time, he’s just.. simply happy to be there, being a part of the team. Hes always preeent and sees the details of each person. He’s the kind of person to help everyone, and be nice, offering to make coffee or get a snack for everyone. He’s always been like that.

1. Injured student at the nurses office:
/me swiftly slipped on a pair of gloves, gesturing to the student to take a seat on the bed. Nijat moved to the other side, letting out a soft sigh. &f“So, how did this...” &rhis gaze on the bruises forming on the student's forehead, as well as a cut. &f“...happen?” &rNijat listened as the student recounted the incident. While nodding, he retrieved a gauze pad and antiseptic wipes from a nearby tray. gently dabbed the gauze against the wound. After cleaning away the dried blood with an antiseptic wipe, he applied a thin layer of ointment, then carefully bandaged the cut with an adhesive bandage. Wrapping an ice pack in a soft cloth, he handed it to the student. &f“Hold this against the bruise for a while,” &rPeeling off his gloves, throwing them into the nearby trash can. His eyes met the student’s with a mix of sternness and care. &f“And don’t let this happen again, okay?” &rsmiled
2. Student who’s having a panic attack:
/me guided the student to sit down onto the bed. &f”Hey, it’s okay.” &rHe took the student's hands in his own, holding them gently. He looked into the student’s eyes, who was still experiencing a panic attack. &f”Whatever the reason is, it’s okay. It will be okay.” &rHe fixed his posture, sitting down next to the student. &f”Breathe with me.” &fhe said, his voice soft but firm. &f”Okay?” &rAs the student nodded, he slowly started to breathe in and out... &f”Breathe in slowly... one, two, three... now out.” &rHe kept doing so for a bit, until the student calmed down a bit. &f”Good job, you’re doing so well.” &rNijat got up and grabbed a bottle of water. Returning, he handed it to the student. &f”Here, drink some water, if you want to.” &rAs the student fully calmed down, he nodded. &f”Do you feel better?” &rHe smiled, &f”I’m proud of you.” &rNij let out a sigh. &f”Do you want to talk about what happened?” &f”You don’t have to- you don’t have to do anything right now. You can... just sit and relax. Okay?
3. Seizure!!
(Got called from the nurse’s office to come to a hallway, where a student was experiencing a seizure. Nijat rushed there)
/me swiftly took off his jacket, rolling it up and placing it under the student’s neck. Nijat gently moved the student to the side, clearing any tight items like necklaces or belts. After gesturing them all to move back, to give the student space, he looked up at one student, standing beside him &f"How long has it been?" Once he confirmed the seizure hadn’t lasted too long, he stayed by the student’s side, watching closely. After the seizure stopped, he gently patted the student’s shoulder. &f"Hey, it’s okay. You’re okay." He stayed by the student, making sure they were breathing normally and didn’t have any other symptoms. &f"Can you hear me? Are you okay?" Once the student was able to speak and seemed alert, he helped them sit up slowly. He gave them some water if they wanted it. &f"Take it slow, okay?" After making sure they were okay and could stand, he helped them to the nurse's office, where the student could rested, staying by their side to make sure they felt better after experiencing a seizure.

Backstory
Born and raised in the Philippines, on Mindanao Island, Nijat lived in a relatively wealthy and modern house compared to others, enjoying a comfortable life. His parents raised them to be respectful and polite. However Nijat was more of a troublemaker, at first. Often acting as the class clown. However, he matured quickly. He was extroverted and closer to his father, though loved his parents equally. Nijat has a younger brother, Qawi, he’s two years younger and has been probably the most important person in his life since birth. They’re very close! The siblings were also very close to their grandparents, especially on their mother’s side, since their father’s parents lived far away, and they saw them rarely. Their mother’s parents were loving and playful, helping take care of Qawi and Nijat from the day they were born. They would babysit them while their parents worked or pick them up from school. The siblings cherished their grandparents dearly. Their parents weren’t incredibly busy, though. Their dad worked as a casual cashier, and their mother was a nurse who worked on-call whenever someone needed help or the hospital was busy. Despite being not that busy, they were often out of the house, which made Nijat curious. He did saw them a few times when leaving the house, in those.. weird full-black outfits and masks? But he didn’t bother to confront them yet, he planned to do so “lateeerr”. They seemed happy, so he didn’t want to bother them.. But still- What was going on? Were their parents criminals? Neither Qawi nor Nijat had much experience or knowledge about criminality—after all, they lived in a very safe, peaceful region. While both siblings were still curious, they never did confront their parents. They simply assumed their parents enjoyed dressing that way and didn’t suspect anything sinister... Over time, they forgot about it, as young children do. After all, they were 6 and 8. However, when Nijat was 18, his world completely changed. They learned the shocking truth: their parents had been some of the best robbers in the country for over 10 years. Worse, they had been murdered by a crime organization that had grown tired of their success. The news devastated the siblings, and they spent hours crying in grief. How could their loving parents be someone like that? But before they could truly mourn or think about anything, their grandparents told them they needed to flee. Flee? Why? The organization wanted to make sure the children didn’t follow in their parent’s footsteps, so the family escaped to Japan. They settled in Tokyo with their grandparents, though the sibling’s grief was overwhelming. Despite the emotional turmoil, they immediately enrolled in a Japanese language school. A year later, Nijat enrolled in university to pursue a bachelor’s degree in nursing, just like his grandparents had. He also minored in child development at the same time. Qawi first enrolled into the last year of high school, then went to university.. However, as Qawi entered his fourth year at university, the sibling’s grandparent’s health worsened. Though still at home, they faced mounting medical bills. With both of them studying full-time, they didn’t have much money, and the part-time jobs nijat worked were barely enough to cover rent and food. Nijat, having just finished his bachelor’s degree, started working full-time, a job he didn't even like, to help pay the medical bills. Over time, Qawi completed his bachelor’s degree, and Nijat kept working to allow Qawi to focus on his education, to do his minor. Another year passed, and the grandparent’s condition worsened. Qawi took over caring for them in the hospital, while Nijat worked even harder to make ends meet. A year later, when Qawi was 24 and Nijat was 26, the grandparents passed away peacefully, appreciating all the work their grandchildren had done for them in their last seconds. Afterwards, the siblings decided they needed a change. They moved to a quieter city, Karakura, to help them adapt to their new life. Now, a year later, with Nijat at 27, he’s finally ready to apply for the job that he studied so hard for and wanted to achieve since he can think.
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
“Hmmm.. well i’ve been familiar with nurses my whole life.. My mother was a nurse but she just worked on-call, so she barely talked about it. However, my grandparents both were nurses, they even met in their work!- Anyway though, my motivation for joining Karakura High school is to be a part of a team. I love teamwork and having people around me all the time. As well as to connect better with my brother, who's going to apply to be a tutor.. we’ve both been through a lot, so we just finally want to apply what we’ve studied for our life, you know? - BUT. My true reason is.. my passion for helping children of all ages- not just because I earned my degree, but because I’ve been caring for my younger brother since he was born. During school time, I always volunteered to help out in the after school program, taking care of kids and helping them with homework or to play. Meaning I've gained valuable hands-on experience from an early age. And later on, during university, I worked part-time in an orphanage, as a babysitter, in a kindergarten and more.. During my uni time, I also did a minor in child development, which helped me understand much more about children's way of thinking, etc.”
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I think I should be accepted over other applicants because I bring a lot of experience and unique opportunities for roleplay. My character being part of an new, small, planned family with my friend, allows me to create more engaging interactions, not only for myself but also for others, including the students & the other family member who is gonna applying to be in the faculty soon, too. I’m active on SRP and manage to maintain a good balance with my irl responsibilities. I’m excited for this role and plan to stay.. as long as I enjoy it and can maintain that balance! I’m also confident in my ability to roleplay as a nurse and believe I can do the job well, especially because of my EMS experiences. Joining the school faculty has always been a dream of mine, so I’m excited to bring my character’s skills and story into this role. Another big reason why I think I should be accepted over the other applicants is because of my timezone. When my friends and I, or others in similar timezones, play, there’s either one nurse or almost always none. I think it would be good to have a nurse in a different timezone so that students can roleplay injuries better and don’t have to "skipRP" or wait because their injury leaves them unable to do anything until school ends to go to the hospital.
