I am actively engaged on the server, participating in roleplay events and interacting with other players, despite who they are or how they roleplay, I try and interact with everyone who interacts with me, and whom I interact with. I dedicate a significant amount of time to the server, as well as taking time for myself.. And strive to contribute to its community by offering different types of writing, and roleplay, and the same ways in tailoring which I spend a lot of my free time doing!

◦◦,`°.✽✦✽. What experiences do you have with roleplay?: .✽✦✽.°`,◦◦
I've been roleplaying since I was little, I'd roleplay on almost any game I could, like moviestarplanet...... But eventually all that rounded up to roleplaying on Discord which I would partake-in for a good few years on and off growing up, which then piloted me in the direction of SRP, where I now roleplay with my friends roughly daily, and have been for the past couple of months.

◦◦,`°.✽✦✽.
What is your motivation for applying? .✽✦✽.°`,◦◦
Applying for a hospital faction role was spontaneous, I was against the idea at first mainly because I've never applied / had large experience in roleplaying anything other than a grade tag, or collage sports tag. My friend first bought up that they were applying for a hospital faction role, and I took some time to consider how I'd do it, what my lore would be and how exactly I'd roleplay my character, and after some procrastinating I decided I'd take the chance and see where I'd land in terms of achieving the role. I'm excited to see how I could progress and improve on my wiritng, and how far it'll get me in terms of meeting new players, and experience different kinds of roleplay. To add on, during September I've enroled (And been accepted, yippie!), to attend a College and partake in Phsycology, so I feel this is right up my alley! (Somewhat).

◦,`°.✽✦✽. Backstory (100+ Words) .✽✦✽.°`,◦◦

The Beginning..
Adriana Domínguez was born in a small, rural and poor town in Mexico, the eldest daughter of Miguel and Carmen Domínguez.. Her parents, seeking a better life and more opportunities, as many other were at the time.. Made the difficult decision to immigrate to the United States when Adriana was just sixteen years old. They settled in a bustling city, living in a tight-knit immigrant community. Growing up, Adriana witnessed the challenges her family faced as undocumented immigrants. Despite these obstacles, her parents instilled in her the importance of education and resilience. Adriana excelled academically, determined to make the most of the opportunities she had been given.
As Adriana neared her young-adult years, the fear of deportation loomed over her family. Living in constant uncertainty and fear, never knowing when their lives might be uprooted. Despite these difficulties, Adriana remained focused on her studies and dreamt of attending college to become a nurse of some sort. When she turned eighteen, she found the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which provided temporary relief from deportation for young undocumented immigrants who met certain criteria. She was relieved and filled with hope, knowing that this program could pave the way for her dreams to come true. Adriana worked tirelessly to earn scholarships and financial aid to attend college, where she pursued her passion for nursing. She became a certified nurse and found employment at a local hospital, where she witnessed the struggles and triumphs of patients from diverse backgrounds.

During her time..
As Adriana neared her mid-twenties, a series of events unfolded that would change the course of her life, little did she know .. The United States faced a national crisis that required the deployment of military personnel. Adriana, due to her immigration status, was approached by a man who worked for ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) who offered her a deal she wasn't prompted to decline, she was to work and serve in the military as a nurse for 365 days, a year in total if we're being coy .. To ensure her immigration status was terminated and she could become an offical resident of the U.S. she fought to have her parents' status also revoked, where they could come and live a life in the U.S upon the agreement she served, however ICE declined, and refused her proposel, which left her no choice but to carry our their wishes to maintain her status in the U.S as a legal citizen. For a year, from the age of 25 to 26, Adriana served as a combat medic, tending to the wounded and providing critical medical support to her fellow soldiers. Her bravery and dedication did not go unnoticed, and she was recognized for her outstanding service by her family back in Mexico, which she wrote letters to regularly. During her time in the military, she met a man, who she would soon marry upon serving in the Military, he was a soldier who unfotunately passed away the same month they made their marriage official due to an explosion. Adriana witnessed the devastating toll that war took on both physical and mental health, and hers, when she was prompted to peroform a surgery which failed on her dying husband. She saw soldiers struggling with trauma, anxiety, and depression. She worked alongside another medical professionalist, Dr. Docter, was what he introduced himself as to her. Dr. Doctor helped Adriana, showed her the delicate and dangerous ropes of the art of serving in the military as a nurse. He taught her the very things she knows to this day, which ensured her position in the university in Tokyo she later planned to attend. The reccomendation letter he wrote for her guaranteed her position in this practice. This experience sparked a deep fascination with the human mind and the desire to help others on a deeper level. You may be wondering why it was Pyshciatry she persued, considering she already had the first-hand experience of nursing .. Well, it was simple. Adriana couldn't bare the sight of seeing another injured so badly, and couldn't stand being the reason someone may not make it through sugery. Her want to help others never died, causing her to persue a different lead.

After the fact..
After her military service ended, Adriana embarked on a new chapter in her life. She made the difficult decision to leave the United States, feeling uncertain about her future there as an undocumented immigrant. Determined to continue her education and contribute to society, she applied for a scholarship to study psychiatry in Japan. Adriana was accepted into a prestigious university in Tokyo, where she immersed herself in her studies and embraced the rich culture of her new home. With her background as a nurse and her firsthand experience with trauma, Adriana excelled in her
psychiatry program.

Nearing the now ..
After years of dedication and hard work, Adriana graduated as a qualified psychiatrist. Her unique perspective, shaped by her experiences as an immigrant, military medic, and nurse, allowed her to connect with patients on a profound level. She established a practice in Japan, specializing in trauma therapy and counseling and graduated with a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Adriana's journey from an undocumented immigrant to a military nurse and finally to a psychiatrist in Japan, Karakura, where she now resides as a resident, serves as a testament to her resilience and determination. She remains committed to helping others heal from their emotional wounds, drawing upon her own life experiences to guide them towards a brighter future.

★○★○★○★ SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY ★○★○★○★
◦◦,`°.✽✦✽. What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus? .✽✦✽.°`,◦◦
(Ensure this is appropriate to the position you have chosen)

Adriana now focuses on trauma-related and mood problems. She picked this specialty because of her recent exposure to people dealing with trauma and her own, in her environment while serving a year in the military. She felt resolved to help those affected by offering thorough psychiatric care after witnessing the terrible impact trauma had on their lives. She felt this was her destiny, and decided to go to extreme lengths fulfill it, and help others the way she knew how.

◦◦,`°.✽✦✽. What medical residencies did your character take after medical school? .✽✦✽.°`,◦◦

Following her practice in Japan, Dr. Domínguez completed her psychiatric residency at a prominent teaching hospital in Tokyo, where she gained expertise in diagnosing and treating various mental health conditions, along with all the previous knowledge she obtained after serving.

◦◦,`°.✽✦✽. Does your character have any work experience in medical positions? .✽✦✽.°`,◦◦

Yes, like explained in the backstory, she served in the military as a nurse where she was taught by a man whom introduced himself as 'Dr. Doctor', which excelled in her working and treating actual soliders in the military where they were unfortunately harmed in the threat of protecting and fighting for their country.

◦◦,`°.✽✦✽. Has your character completed any additional schooling? .✽✦✽.°`,◦◦
My character spent a few years working in a teaching hospital in Tokyo, where she practiced as a Pyschiatrist, unfortunately after forming a romantice relationship with a patient, she was forced to make the decision to move to Karakura, where she hoped she could continue her Psychiatricy in the Hospital.

★○★○★○★ SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE ★○★○★○★

◦◦,`°.✽✦✽. Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? .✽✦✽.°`,◦◦
In summary, Adriana is a 32-year-old Colombian woman with a strong build and sunkissed-tan skin that highlights her physical beauty. Her captivating appearance is further complemented by her expressive hazel-eyes, luscious dirty long, blonde hair, and a unique tattoo that symbolizes her love for exploration and growth. A humming bird, on her left shoulder. Adriana's combination of strength, vitality, and a distinct personal touch make her a truly remarkable individual.
screenshot-1688024493490.pngscreenshot-1688024498472.png

Going back to her roots, Adriana always wore something simple. Something that didn't make her stand out or make her an easy target to society, this was often what she wore when she wasn't parading around in her scrubs. Her hair was, the majority of the time, thrown into a messy pony-tail bun. She refused to cut her hair, but never really took great care of it.

screenshot-1688025904471.pngscreenshot-1688025907694.png

On the very rare occasion, perhaps maybe a staff party, or visiting Club Umbra, she would dress up, but not very often. This was her go-to black slip dress, with distressed tights that were hanging on by a thread, just about to rip. Paired with an old-fashioned hair-bow she stole from her mother when she was just 6 years old. She kept it with her throughout her travels and only ever wore it on special occasions.

◦◦,`°.✽✦✽. How does your character act on and off duty? .✽✦✽.°`,◦◦

Off Duty:
Reserved. Adriana struggled to fit in, and make friends. This is due to her lack of childhood she missed out on growing-up. The english barrier between her peers in school made things difficult for her. This problem haunted her, and will and does continue to chase her around. She stuck to herself and didn't pry in on others' problems and issues, or lives.
On Duty:
Bubbly. Despite her line of work, where it's often reigned a stressful atompashere, she does her best to remain content and fullfilled, especially around (some) of her patients, the ones that need a little light in their lives, she strives to be just that, without considering the exhaustion it'll cause her later on. Adriana always brings a spare lunch into work with her, just incase there was someone who'd left in a hurry without their food. She was born to look out for others, and will always continue to do that.

◦◦,`°.✽✦✽. Does your character function better on their own or with others? .✽✦✽.°`,◦◦

My character functions better with others, due to contrary belief, she would prefer to be social which was odd considering who she was and made into be. She doesn't know it yet .. But she's quite the party animal.

◦◦,`°.✽✦✽. What plans does your character have for the future? .✽✦✽.°`,◦◦

None, at the moment my character is taking things slowly, she's learnt that no matter what plans you may have, whatever dreams or goals, everything can change in an instance and suddenly you're thrown off your path. She takes things a day at a time, and never prepares herself for what's to come in fear one day she'll lose everything.

◦◦,`°.✽✦✽. How is your character perceived by others? How does it contrast with their perception of themself? .✽✦✽.°`,◦
The way my character is preceived by others is entirely up to them, but she hopes that she's perceived the same way she perceives herself. Caring, friendly, warm and sympathetic. Everything she strives and deems herself to (hopefully) be. However, she wouldn't lose sleep if someone perceived her as the opposite, life is too short.
