List your accounts and roles on this server: Jotunnlord Are you aware that inactivity for more than 15 days without an inactivity log will result in removal from the council?: Yes TRIVIA QUESTIONS What is the student council and what do they do?: They make sure rules are followed and help with punishment and finding of rule breakers, as well as doing many events. What motivated you to apply for council? (e.g. Interests, friends, etc.): It seemed like something Owen would love to do ICLY OOC stuff doesn't really make a difference on what my character does unless I'm just personally happy or sad at the time. Are you aware that you’ll be having to use your creativity and teamwork ethic within the student council? (e.g. Coming up and helping with events): Yes Can you list the roles in the council along with other roles that might be important to the council?: President and Vice President one for College and one for High School. SCENARIOS You’re patrolling the school and you walk by two girls verbally harassing each other, but they didn't pay mind to you. What do you think is the correct way to go about this? To tell them politely to stop it or it may lead to both of them getting detention. A student refuses to take their mask off after you’ve brought up detention and they’ve run away! What do you do? I radio staff and other Councilmen that this has happened and chase after them. There seems to be a councillor abusing their powers! They’re being exceptionally mean to a student, causing the student to be defensive or scared. How would you step in? I would tell the student to leave while I try to calm them down afterwards reporting their behavior. You seemed to miss a few pieces of information during a meeting, how would you go about getting that information? I would ask other councilmen for the information. A teacher/receptionist has told you that you are doing something that goes against what you were trained by your higher-ups. How would you react to this? I would ask in what way I was doing this and an example or two so I know what to try and correct my behavior. Please provide a detailed event that a club or council can use as a future event to showcase your creativity! (Must be 300 words or more): A Summer Dance with a country and barn theme. have the stands set up as sheds, or perhaps chicken coups or pig pens. Have an assortment of games like trying to knock over a bucket with an egg, or a cork gun shooting range. Get some of the student musical talent to play a song or two and have swing music of all kinds to dance to. Dress the staff and councilmen up as Cowboys/girls or farmers. Have an area before the dance starts where people who have never danced before or need a refresher, or maybe just the people who want to learn something new can learn fun little country swing dances and contras maybe even a few fun line dances. Have some Sarsaparilla drinks and Jerky for concessions. Make a dining area for couples to eat some country meals like eggs and bacon, biscuits and gravy, American sweet tea. Have some more decorations in the form of straw on the ground with an amazing idea for a fun little stand being a petting zoo with house pets like dogs and cats and rabbits. A photo backdrop of a little barn and a horse with some dandelions on the ground near it. As the event starts maybe having the lights start dim and quickly grow brighter with a rooster sound effect, then be all bright at the height of it and as it gets later and closer to the end dim the lights and end it off on a fun happy note with a slow dance, maybe even one played by the aforementioned student musicians. The food might even change that's served during the dance having more lunch or dinner items at the height with the breakfast items at the beginning and maybe an hour or a half hour before it ends change it to fun sweets and deserts. Character appearance/attire (Please provide a picture):   What separates you from other applicants seeking your position?: No clue I'd like to think everyone was itching to help out like me, but I'd like to say I've never backed off from a problem that is clearly wrong that any troublemakers will have a hard time dealing with someone like that I reckon. Why do you want this position?:I would love to be able to help where I can. I do not like my inability to help as I do not wish to break any rules. It's also because I always see things happening and I'd rather get em done myself then wait for someone else to do em for me never was one for sitting around. What interests you the most about student council?: Well the ability to help people out more effectively is quite appealing. I would also love to help with events those sound quite fun. What could you contribute to make the school a safe and fun environment?: More Vigilance not to say the Student Council isn't already but whenever I even hear something vaguely troubling I have to stop everything I am doing and fix it or else I just don't feel right and I couldn't live like that. |
