Ever wondered, “What are the next steps now that I’ve finished college?”.

Good day Karakura, my name is
Adaryn Rodrique-Zennix and today I will be reporting on Post College Involvement. I will be writing about what different degrees can lead to after college, and what different jobs will be available to you after college! So sit back, snuggle up with a blanket, and learn about what the working future holds for you!

Degrees and Qualifications
Degrees/Qualifications

Degrees and qualifications. Once leaving college, you will have a multitude of qualifications and degrees, maybe a bachelorette degree in Literature, or a Major in Computer Science, the options are limitless. Depending on different qualifications, you will be more likely to be a good candidate for certain jobs. Below are some degrees, and what they can help you with when it comes to the world of work.

Science Based

Science based qualifications are subjects such as Biology, Psychology, Computer Science, Animal Anatomy, and much more. These qualifications fall into scientific jobs, e.g. KPD, EMS. Many different jobs need science based qualifications, and will be very valuable when applying for such jobs.

Science Based Qualifications
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Geology
  • Physics
  • Natural Sciences
  • Natural Sciences (Astronomy and Planetary Science)
  • Natural Sciences (Biology)
  • Natural Sciences (Chemistry)

These subjects are very helpful in all fields, although they may be more valuable in fields such as:

  • EMS (Emergency Medical Services)
  • KPD (Karakura Police Department)
  • School Nurse
  • Councillor
  • Professor
  • Teacher

Both EMS and KPD have specialised roles that you will be able to take on when applying and being accepted into the departments. I will go deeper into these two departments in the section Careers And Business.

Humanity Based

Humanity based subjects are for more logical people, or those who give more value to physical things, or the things that humans need. Jobs which value these qualifications are jobs such as News, Teaching, Government, and much more.

Humanity Based Qualifications
  • History
  • Politics
  • Philosophy
  • Journalism
  • Geography
  • English Literature
  • Creative and performing arts
  • International Development
  • Law and Order

All these subjects are valued in fields such as:

  • Government
  • Teacher
  • Professor
  • Reporter (News Reporter)
  • Shopkeeper/Business Owner
  • Priest/Priestess
  • Maiden

The Government department along with EMS and KPD have many roles which specialise in different jobs. I will go more in depth on this in the section Careers and Business.

All these qualifications will be affected by the Degree you have in them (e.g. Bachelorette, Major).
