What's the title of your suggestion?: President/council being able to use/get cctv

Basically, a portion of the time when events happen icly in school such as fighting or just general conflict between students that is detention worthy, there are no caretakers around, therefore meaning cctv cannot be retrieved, this in many scenarios has prevented people from being caught/dealt with fairly.
For example
A fight occurs, both assault eachother, however only one of them gets bruised, in an icly confrontation, only 1 would get detention as there was no evidence the other did the assaulting, however if cctv was retrievable they would both receive detention.
Another example
A fight occurs where one student punches one, they would receive bruises, however another may dump water on the others head, which can dry and wont leave any stains. Therefore meaning that in that scenario, only the one with bruises would get detention, as there would be no proof that the one who did the water dump actually did it. (this is also applicable to swirly scenarios in the bathrooms)
So my suggestion is, for either council or JUST the presidents, are able to retrieve cctv, either the same way that caretakers do, or through the president computer in the council office.
I see 1 main con of this suggestion
- Less RP remotely to caretakers, from requesting cctv as that's a big thing of theirs
to combat this
- Presidents/council can only use the president computer for cctv when no caretakers are available (online)
How will this benefit the server and community?:
This will allow for many more scenarios to be properly dealt with, as usually if there is no presence of a caretaker, then usually only 1 participant would receive detention/an outcome would be met that would be different in there was cctv evidence present. where many would consider this unfair when the other party should also receive detention/punishment. With more people being able to obtain cctv it allows for the increase of more fairly dealt scenarios icly
