What experiences do you have with roleplay?
I started playing SRP in 2021. It captivated me, and I fell in love with it. Before playing on SRP, I had watched countless YouTube Minecraft roleplays and SMPs. As time went on in SRP, I ended up joining gangrp. I am now in a delinquent gang that focuses on P2L and detail rolling, which truly helps me experience roleplay in a different way.

What is your motivation for applying?
It would add to everyday roleplay possibilities and provide an interesting opportunity. I have a lot of experience with medical terminology from being in a doctor's office, which would aid in roleplaying that aspect. It would also provide a community aspect to SRP. I have two friends in EMS already, and they are part of the reason I'm applying. They talk about how much they enjoy it, and it makes me want to try it out. I was also accepted into the intern program, and I fell in love with it.

Which role are you applying for?
Doctor!

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?:
Doctor! The doctors are the ones you would go to for a cold or a broken bone. They handle the physical aspects of medical care, along with surgeries and recovery care.
Paramedic!Paramedics are the ones who work with KPD, going to the patient if the patient cannot reach the hospital on their own. You can also only be a paramedic after being a doctor/psychiatrist for some time.
Psychiatrist! The psychiatrists are the ones who handle what's going on inside a patient's brain, mental, and emotional health. They can help people process their emotions through solo therapy, couples therapy, or group therapy.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished? Yes.

In-Character (IC) Section
SECTION 1: PERSONAL DETAILS

Character’s Full Name:

The woman walked in, her calm presence filling the room as she moved to the director, shaking his hand as she sat down across from him. "Lovely to meet you!" She then waited, laying her hands in her lap to keep herself calm. Her eyes looked into the director's as he asked her name. "Calla-Lily V. Fontaine, although I tend to go by Calla." She spoke with a calm and controlled voice, focusing on not stuttering or messing up any words.

Character’s Gender and Pronouns:
Calla nodded at the next question. "Why yes, I go by she/her pronouns!" She smiled, content with her answer.

Character’s Age (if accepted):
"Wow, getting down to the uncomfortable questions already?" She let out a chuckle before giving her answer. "I just turned 26, young, I know."

Character’s Academic Background:
"I spent my early academic years in France, where I was born, and then when I reached primary school years, we moved to Germany. When I was about 17, I moved to Karakura. I spent until I was 19 here, getting into the local college. I did move to Spain for four years to finish my Bachelor's degree." She paused, wondering if she was talking too much. Calla took a deep breath, then continued. "I then came back to Karakura to get my Doctorate in orthopedics! I am freshly graduated aswell so this would be my first hospital job." She beamed, proud of her accomplishments and how far she'd come.

Character’s Nationality:
She smiled, beginning to pick at the skin on her fingers. "As I stated in my previous answer, I grew up in both France and Germany, but my biological dad's side is from Czechia."

Character’s Marital Status:
Calla chuckled a bit. "I am unfortunately on the market."

Character’s Religious Denomination:
"I was raised to be a catholic christian."

Character’s Spoken Languages:
She smiled at her ability with languages. "I speak French, German, and Spanish."

Character Backstory (Optional):
Calla-Lily was born in France, lived there until she was 11, her mother got bone cancer, and they moved to Germany for better treatment. Her mom fought for years, while her dad drank to cope with his wife dying. When she was 15, her dad died from liver failure, and then when she was 16, her mom died from cancer. As Calla's mom took her last breaths, she handed Calla a piece of paper, showing that the man who had raised her wasn't her biological father, and Calla was shipped off to Karakura, getting into a lot of trouble, getting involved with gangs and illegal activities.

She was so angry. After a year, she left her life and joined the college track team, but only stayed for a couple of months. She decided that it wasn't her crowd. Then, people from her past life came back to haunt her, so she faked her death and fled to Spain to continue school. Once Calla decided it was safe, she ventured back to Karakura to finish out her last year in med school and interned at the hospital. When Calla came back, she learned that her half-brother, Lukas Volkova, also lived in Karakura. She got in contact with him and learned about the whole other side of her family. Calla also found a girl named Alina and adopted her, taking care of her like her own. Then, the day after she graduated, she walked into the hospital and interviewed for a job.

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical specialty? Why did they choose this focus?

Calla's mother got bone cancer when Calla was young, so they were in and out of hospitals, and as she used to be involved in a lot of trouble, and at one point she was in track, she saw people who got their bones broken a LOT. She would like to focus on orthopedics. It would be an amazing opportunity. She finds bones and joints very interesting; they work in ways different from muscles, and pursuing that field would let her explore these differences more. She's seen her friends go into hospitals and come out as a different person; she wants to be able to help people land on their feet after a traumatic hospital visit.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
She was required to learn some first aid through being in constant trouble, which also helped her in track. She also got accepted into the internship at the hospital, which taught her a lot.
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?

The young female in front of you stood at a height of 6'0, with her tall torso, and she had a surprisingly straight posture. If you kept looking at her, you'd notice multiple kinds of scars across her curvy, lightly freckled body. When you looked back up to her face, the first thing you'd notice was the heterochromia in her eyes, making one blue and the other green. The next thing would be how calm her face always seemed to be.
How does your character act around the hospital?
When Calla-Lily was at the hospital and not with a patient, she would be standing at the front, waiting for the next person to walk through the hospital doors. When Calla was with a patient, on the other hand, she would be attentive and calm, making sure the patient was calm before assessing the damage. She didn't want to make things worse by stressing out the patient. Once the patient was calm, Calla would carefully consider the patient's concerns and treat them as needed.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Calla, if given the choice, would choose time and time again to work on her own. She was a control freak afterall, she needed things to be done her own way. If the situation called for it, however, she would reluctantly work with others, trying her best not to take complete control over the situation.

Firstly, thank you for applying to the Hospital Faction, and we appreciate your interest. However, after discussing your application with the higher-ups, we have unfortunately decided to deny your application this time around as we feel other applications stood out more.

Nonetheless, we encourage you to keep an eye on the Karakura Emergency #announcements channel for future application waves, and to re-apply at a later date if you're still interested.

This decision was made as a collective among a group of individuals. rather than a single individual. Any DMs to members of the faction and/or higher-ups will be ignored and referred to this response.
