Describe your activity on the server:
In my honest opinion, I would say that I am rather active on the server and that I play SchoolRP practically every day. I use my free time to log in and roleplay as a current member of the Government faction with my friends and other community members. I participate actively in a number of communities and add to the overall vibe of the server in addition to my personal relationships. This commitment hasn't changed over time but rather, it has continuously enhanced my SRP experience. Basically, these aspects of SchoolRP that I participate in have made sure that I am having fun and acting out roleplay without hesitation!

What is your timezone?:
My timezone is CET.

List your current and past applications:

(I couldn't get the spoilers to work correctly, sorry about that.)

List your current roles on the server:
On MazerBlade I have a College Bachelor's tag, Adult tag and a high school tag,
and on my alternative account lostmyjin, I have a Judge tag and a high school tag.

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I have had a lot of general roleplay experience in the past two years on the server, I used to be a prior EMS on another server, which I played for about two months, however, I would be willing to learn more and expand my knowledge and roleplay experience in this one as well. Recently, I was accepted in the Government faction and I’ve been doing a lot of Judge roleplay as well, which has offered me a lot more opportunity in different aspects of a roleplay and it was a challenge, considering the fact that I was trying out a different faction. To add onto that, I also have good experience in CopRP, I used to be in the KPD for a few months on the same server - other than that I have a lot of experience with general rp among friends and other community members. Not just that but I've also been a part of a few sports teams on the server, such as The Spartan Swim Team, which required me to write many detailed actions for our practices. Recently, I have been doing a lot of detailed actions whenever I am playing my delinquent character, which requires me to P2L quite often, hence the detailrp I’m talking about. Overall, I feel like my roleplay has gotten so much better for the past two years and I’m still willing to expand my roleplay knowledge and experiences!

What is your motivation for applying?
I have always been interested in EMS, however, I have just now had the opportunity to apply again. I am interested in trying a different style of roleplay aside from PD or Government- something requiring more detail. That is my biggest reason for joining, however, my primary reason for joining the faction is the roleplay. I find the specificity of MedicalRP to be entertaining because it requires attention to detail, careful patient care, and careful adherence to protocol all while providing other players with a positive experience. I also like the idea of medicine and treatment, both inside and outside of RP, which is my second motivation. I love researching some of the disorders that players would invent for their characters in role-play, and I also enjoyed providing the necessary treatments. I've also studied biology and psychology a little bit out of character! I think medicine is a great idea overall, and I would love to take part in MedicalRP again. The reason why I am applying for psychiatry specifically is because I am genuinely passionate about helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges and improve their overall well-being. I have a strong desire to make a positive impact on people's lives by providing them with the necessary support and guidance to address their mental and emotional concerns. Through my education, and life experiences I have developed a deep understanding of psychology, human behaviour, and the complexities of mental health conditions. I believe in the power of empathetic listening. My motivation to become a psychiatrist stems from the belief that mental health is an integral part of overall health and addressing these issues can lead to profound positive changes in individuals, their families, and society as a whole. I am committed and interested in staying updated with the latest advancements in the field and working with patients to provide the best possible care.

The final thing that motivated me was my past EMS experience. I had a great time in the roleplay and with the players, even though it was only for a few days, and I really miss the faction. I had previously left EMS due to a particular circumstance because of a few friends, but I also needed time away from factions in order to focus on school work at a time. I did keep up my role-playing throughout that time since I wanted to make sure my abilities remained strong. I'm prepared to maybe return to EMS for a new chapter now that my role-playing abilities have improved a ton and I've established a consistent routine in my life that allows me to log on whenever necessary. Lastly, I would like to join to act as a helping hand for the Emergency Workers, as I have seen how stressful the work can get with patient’s constantly filing into the hospital. There also aren’t very many psychiatrists that I could see, and I am willing to give that a change upon being accepted, if I do.

Which role are you applying for?
I am applying for a Psychiatrist.

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
Trainees: New hospital workers fall into the trainee category, whether they are training to be a psychiatrist or a doctor. As the title suggests, they are in training and not yet certified. These members of the hospital will be trained by surgeons, attendings, and higher staff until they are familiar with the hospital's protocols, regulations, etc. They will then be ranked up or demoted according to their performance.

Psychiatrists: Psychiatrists are medical professionals who study, diagnose, and treat mental health disorders. Within the hospital, they are not qualified to treat injuries or perform any major medical procedures like a doctor or surgeon. At the very beginning of a psychiatrist career, just like surgeons at this level, they practice under and take orders from higher up attendings, clinical leads, etc.

Doctors: Doctors are medical professionals that assess your health, treat minor and some major injuries (They do not perform surgery) /this was the case when a surgeon rank existed, but I believe it works differently now and allows doctors to perform surgeries now, prescribe medications, and possibly refer patients to consult a psychiatrist.

Veterinarians: Veterinarians are medical professionals who specialise in the treatment and care of animals, they examine animals to diagnose illnesses, injuries, or other health problems, prescribe medication, perform surgeries, and provide other medical interventions to treat and manage conditions of the animals. Veterinarians also provide vaccinations, and offer advice on nutrition and parasite control to prevent illnesses of the animals.

Paramedics: Paramedics are professionals that give emergency medical care to people in urgent conditions. They are frequently the first medical responders on the scene of accidents, medical emergencies, or disasters, and they play an important role in stabilising patients and giving life-saving measures prior to and during transfer to the hospital.

Clinical Manager: Clinical managers are in charge of managing a hospital's or department's clinical operations. They are essential in making sure that patient care is delivered effectively, upholding quality standards, and supervising the clinical staff, they are also.a right hand of the Director.

Director: The medical director is the highest in the hospital hierarchy. The director creates the hospital's regulations and protocols, oversees the clinical leads and head of departments, and is responsible for the overall regulation of the hospital's medical care. This position is the top of the chain, and thus they are responsible for how the hospital operates.

Upon being promoted, EMS workers can climb ranks, depending on the role they choose. For example, Doctors first begin their journey as Doctor Trainees, then, when their training is successfully finished, they become Doctor Resident. After some time, they can climb ranks, from Senior Doctor Resident, to Attending Doctor, and even Clinical Supervisor or Doctor Clinical Lead. This is somewhat similar for Psychiatrists, starting as a Psychiatrist Trainee, and finishing their training and becoming a Psychiatrist Resident. After some time, they can climb ranks, from Senior Psychiatrist Resident, to Attending Psychiatrist, and even Clinical Supervisor or Psychiatrist Clinical Lead.

EMS workers also receive certain equipment upon being accepted, such as:
1. A Hospital Radio, one of the most important and main equipments that allows Hospital workers to communicate amongst each other and with the KPD,
2. Haloperidol Syringe, an alternative for a Mido which is used to calm somebody down rather than knocking them out completely,
3. Mido, used to knock out an individual for about five minutes in order to let an EMS worker save themselves or someone else being in danger.
4. Medkit, it contains all the essential supplies and items that a Hospital Worker needs, especially while on a patrol.
5. Clipboard, a wooden writing surface with papers attached used for noting and writing things down.
6. Pepper Spray, a personal pepper spray can that Hospital Workers can use if they’re in danger whilst on a patrol.
7. An ambulance, this is a vehicle that Hospital Workers are allowed to use for patrol purposes and for fast answering to emergencies. Parademics are usually the ones to have one or higher ranked Hospital Workers.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?
Yes, I fully acknowledge this and I am determined and ready to dedicate myself to the position of a Psychiatrist upon being accepted and depending on what time the trainings are being held, I will try my best to always be able to attend them, of course. In case I don’t get the chance to do so, I’ll make sure to contact the Higher Up and let them know about the reason why I’m not able to attend. attend all the training whilst they’re being held.

Character Backstory:
Mazikeen Kaeda's was born in Bordeaux, France, on October 19th, known as Mazikeen Smith at a time. After being born, her parents decided to move to Busan, Korea for a better life. Her early years were marked by the cultural blend of her French mother, Jeanne, and her Korean father, Christopher. However, Mazikeen's childhood was far from conventional. Her father, Christopher, was deeply entangled in the criminal underworld of Busan, bringing fear and turbulence into their lives, owing a lot of debts to dangerous and sketchy people. Despite that, Mazikeen was enjoying her early childhood, unaware of the danger. However, her mother was scared, not for herself but more so for her daughter, she knew what kind of person her father has become and she wanted nothing more than to keep her daughter safe. Jeanne made a brave decision to separate from Christopher when Mazikeen was just eight years old, seeking safety and stability for her daughter. Growing up in Busan under her mother's nurturing guidance, Mazikeen navigated through the challenges of her father's reputation while focusing on her education and personal growth. Despite the shadows of her father's past, Mazikeen cherished her time in Korea, immersing herself in the vibrant culture and building strong bonds with friends and neighbours. Mazikeen was always a bubbly, chatty child, which made people around her adore her for her innocence and kindness. Jeanne finally felt at ease, seeing her daughter grow with her in a safe household without any threats. However, this was the time when Christopher was only getting started with his criminal activities, continuing what he knew best and ignoring any of the warnings and possible consequences that would haunt him and his father later on. Meanwhile, Mazikeen lived a very happy and peaceful life with her mother, this only encouraged her more to study and push herself harder to make her mother proud. Mazikeen was very mature for her age and people noticed this. She had good grades, good behaviour, and followed in her mother’s footsteps. Everything was perfect. Considering Mazikeen’s school success made her mother send her to a better school so that Mazikeen could have a better life, education and hopefully meet some new friends, she also wanted to get her away from Korea so she doesn’t have to run into her father as much and she wanted to get her away from all the danger and crime.

Mazikeen left behind her father's difficult past and the well-known streets of Busan when she was fifteen and boarded a plane to Karakura, Japan. Because of her father's connections to the underworld, Jeanne, her mother, had to make the difficult decision to send her away for protection. For Mazikeen, acclimating to life in Japan was difficult yet strangely lucky. Despite being unfamiliar with Karakura, she took comfort in meeting new people and learning about a new culture. With unflinching dedication, she threw herself into her studies, hoping to shed her father's shadow and honour her mother's sacrifice. Mazikeen developed both intellectually and personally over time, becoming close to her classmates and fostering her love of psychology. Thoughts of her brave mother would regularly cross her mind amidst the pressures of school and her new relationships. But tragedy came three years later. In Karakura, Mazikeen heard heartbreaking news: her father's debts had cruelly taken her mother, Jeanne. Mazikeen was overcome with grief, rage, and a strong will to preserve her mother's memory. The weight of it all was debilitating, but she found solace in her studies and in her friends. She eventually accepted her situation because, as a teenager juggling a lot, it was all she could do.

But when her father, Christopher, suddenly showed up in Karakura, his presence served as a chilling reminder of the chaos he had brought into their lives, shattering the little peace she had managed to create. After her mother passed away, Mazikeen faced her father with a raw intensity that she had suppressed for years. She was filled with a mixture of betrayal and anger. She blamed him for Jeanne's terrible fate, accusing him of leaving them to deal with the fallout from his actions on their own. Christopher begged for an opportunity to clarify and offer apologies, clearly shaken and regretful. Mazikeen gave him a moment to talk after that, through difficult talks and interactions in the days that followed, Mazikeen started to notice a different side of her father. She saw the depth of his decision-making and the weight of his regrets, slightly touched by his attempts to establish a connection with her in spite of their traumatic past. Mazikeen met Christopher's girlfriend Hanae during this period. Mazikeen was cautious and doubtful at first, but as she saw Hanae's sincere compassion and warmth, she began to soften and come to accept her in their lives. Mazikeen had misgivings, but Hanae patiently gained her trust by showing her that she cared and that she would never waver.

The months went by, and Hanae's influence on Mazikeen's life increased. Through their quiet times and meaningful chats, they eventually developed a relationship that went beyond simple acquaintanceship. Mazikeen felt that her mother was no longer there, but Hanae's steadfast love and caring presence started to fill the hole and gave her a taste of the warmth she had always craved from her family. However, Christopher abruptly vanished from their lives just as Mazikeen was starting to feel stable once more. Without a word for two long years, Mazikeen was left to struggle with fresh sentiments of betrayal and abandonment. Even though Hanae tried to comfort her and reassure her of her position in the family, Mazikeen was unable to get over the loss of her father. Two years have passed when Christopher finally reappeared, Mazikeen's anger and hurt boiled over once more. She confronted him with a ferocity born of years of pent-up emotions, her words cutting deep as she demanded answers and accountability.

Hanae, standing beside her adopted daughter, added her voice to Mazikeen's, expressing her own disappointment and frustration at Christopher's disappearance. Christopher being Christoper, tried his best to defend himself with the same, pitiful excuses, which neither Mazikeen or Hanae bought. In the heated exchange that followed, Christopher acknowledged the pain he had caused and the gravity of his mistakes. Moved by Mazikeen's impassioned plea for honesty and responsibility, he vowed to rebuild the trust he had shattered. Hanae, her voice steady with resolve, declared her commitment to Mazikeen, affirming that she had taken her into her heart as her own daughter. Christopher was quite angry, ending up threatening Mazikeen before disappearing in the shadows once again, which Mazikeen expected, considering the fact that he’s done this more than once. However, Hanae stayed by Mazikeen’s side, giving her unconditional love and support, not leaving her as she promised. Mazikeen has gotten close with a Tokugawa family at a time, hanging out with them quite often inside and outside of school, especially with Emiko Tokugawa and Rae Tokugawa. During this time, Mazikeen's life took another unexpected turn when she crossed paths with Nishiki Tokugawa. Nishiki was not just anyone, he was Emiko's older brother, a man whose reserved demeanour and formal exterior initially gave Mazikeen the impression of aloofness.

Their first meetings were all about polite hellos, bowing and Mazikeen's cautious curiosity. Nishiki kept his distance at first, buried in his studies and always composed. But fate kept throwing them together, and bit by bit, Mazikeen saw the sweeter side of Nishiki come out. As they shared moments and exchanged glances and thoughtful gestures, Mazikeen uncovered the kind heart beneath Nishiki's cold exterior. His quiet strength and genuine concern for her well-being slowly melted Mazikeen's initial thoughts, bringing them closer every day. Around two months into their friendship, during one late-night, Mazikeen and Nishiki finally confessed their feelings for each other and decided to give dating a shot. Their relationship blossomed during their college days. Nishiki, always the gentleman, constantly surprised Mazikeen with his thoughtfulness and unwavering support. Whether through grand gestures or subtle acts of kindness, he showed his deep commitment and love for her. Then one evening at the Zen Garden, Nishiki sprung a surprise on Mazikeen. Completely unaware of his plan, she was swept off her feet when Nishiki took her hand and proposed. His heartfelt words painted a future filled with love, understanding, and unwavering companionship. Overwhelmed with emotion, Mazikeen didn't hesitate to say yes, sealing their commitment beneath the timeless beauty of nature's embrace.

After earning her masters degree, Mazikeen pursued her dream of becoming a psychiatrist, enrolling in medical school at Seoul National University in South Korea. Her time there was marked by rigorous study and clinical training, honing her skills and deepening her understanding of mental health and human behaviour. Upon earning her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, Mazikeen embarked on her professional journey at Seoul National University Hospital, where she dedicated herself to helping patients navigate the complexities of mental illness where she worked for about two years. Mazikeen moved back to Karakura shortly after, thrilled and excited, waiting to see where her journey takes her next.

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
Mazikeen Kaeda became a psychiatrist because she’s been intrigued and fascinated by this field since she was a kid. She’s always had a deep curiosity about emotions and how the human brain functions. Growing up, she slowly became the person her friends turned to in tough times, offering a listening ear and advice whenever it was needed. Her interest in understanding the human mind only grew as she got older, and she wanted to explore why people think and feel the way they do. She saw firsthand how empathy and good communication can make a real difference for those facing mental health challenges. Her adoptive mom, Hanae, who was a psychiatry professor at a time, played a significant role in Mazikeen’s career choice. Sitting in on her mom’s classes further ignited Mazikeen’s passion for psychiatry. Choosing to become a psychiatrist was an easy decision for Mazikeen. It also allowed her to honour her mom’s influence and pursue her passion for helping others with their mental well-being—a role she’s always excelled in and genuinely enjoys.

Nonetheless, below is some advice from our higher-up team in order to help you improve any future applications and therefore improve your chances of being accepted in future waves:
Try applying to other factions to improve your reputation around the server, and refrain from using AI within your applications.

This decision was made as a collective among a group of individuals. rather than a single individual. If you have any further inquiries, you may contact me - 6pancake - via DMs. Otherwise, any DMs to members of the faction and/or higher-ups will be ignored and referred to this response.
