My activity is very high, I have a decent cast of characters which allows me to always be involved somehow or someway. Usually, I find myself hanging out with friends. We enjoy building stories, developing characters, as well as going with the flow of role-play improvised. I usually play every day, or simply log on to see which of my good friends are online, and try to create something. While I am a student, the hours I play are around 4 pm EST. The weekends are usually always free for me, occasionally with friends, however, I try my best to interact with others and continue development. As a question further down asks what RP is experienced within, I don't want to duplicate that here. Therefore to summarize, My activity can vary as life happens, however, I am very good with communication and make sure to put in effort for activity.

Yes, I am aware of this, therefore I will put in the effort to be active, as well as communicate when and why I won't be active. However, I understand failure to do so will result in my demotion.

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
The librarian is crucial in providing students with academic aid in a variety of ways. The library within itself is an open and active spot of learning, research, and studying. The books provided, allow the librarian to guide students to sources to aid within that learning theme, on the other hand, books are a great way for students to relax and take their minds off of stressful matters. The librarian is that crucial authority figure that can guide students to access all of those resources. They are humble, wise, and informative, they are also very well organized and are responsible for keeping the library under control.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
My experience varies, usually I'm doing regular role play as I'm hanging with friends and portraying specific characters, however, I actively engage in creating storylines and developing characters. While there are ups and downs, I explore those through the characters I portray, which allows for interactions with others. However, I have had a little experience with gangrp, though I would not call it that. One of my characters streetrace, and, due to that, has been involved with a variety of situations. Through this, even though I am not involved in major gangrp and violence, I have been involved with approaching sensitive subject matters, and very serious situations. As for my time on srp, I have been playing since last year, I’ve always been great at providing detail and, at the same time, giving the characters I portray personalities that grow and change over time, through the events that happen. Outside of SRP, I have a big liking to theatrics and am heavily involved in an Improvisation club, which essentially is a big role-playing club. With this knowledge and quick thinking skills, my role-play experience is only elevated.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
I wish to join as I have been involved with school rp, however, I've only been able to portray a dog, and then high school students. The school staff plays a very big role in creating an atmosphere that not only teaches but immerses everyone into the world of SRP. I've always had ambitions to join the staff. Now that I have a lot more experience, I feel comfortable with my ability to portray such a crucial role in school. As for the School Employee Faction, they are the backbone to the school, yes the teacher position is big, and the school employees are the icing on the cake when creating that immersive experience that SRP provides.

Situations
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
Mr.Junsuina would start by raising a brow, letting the student get out their words as he would fold his arm. He would then approach that student as his glare never left the student's eyes, “ That is inappropriate and incredibly immature, You do not talk to staff that way.” While there was a harshness in his eyes, there was a level of understanding if this student was going through something. However, after observing said student, he would start to suggest to them, “ You should go for a walk to clear your head, I’ll let you go now, but do not let me find you cursing at me again.”
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
“Back away from each other!!” Mr.Junsuina would raise his voice as he ran to separate the two, he would scan the surrounding area as he did that. He would take note of the others around if there was an adult nearby- and if so, call them to help. If Mr.Junsuina needed to, he would stand in front of the student who is the most aggressive. “This is not how you behave, this is unacceptable and against school policy.” His voice had a strong sense of authority, calming the situation down. “You two should not be fighting, this is a danger to not only you both, but other students. If there was a strong injury, he would send the student with the most injuries, or even both, directly to the nurse to ensure their safety. Afterward, he would report this incident to the secretary, then go to check up on the student afterward.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Mr.Junsuina would approach the school employee directly after the incident, if it's needed, or right away. He is putting the student's safety first, then, the safety of said school employee. If he needed to step in, as if the employee was on an unbalanced ladder, he would go to support it. If the employee is drinking heavily, Mr. Junsuina would remove the employee from the view of students, and direct them to the break room- or their own office. He would sit down with them and remove the beverage from their grasp- if actively drinking on campus. At the same time, he would inform his supervisors and stay with this employee until he is instructed to take further action. This hypothetical is something he would apply to other situations, entirely and at the same time keeping in mind that the student's safety and the staff members' safety matter most.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
On Break Mr.Junsuina, or well, Miran, would be actively socializing and getting to know the other staff. He would talk about his day and actively engage in getting to know the others, all while slipping in a few lazily dad humor jokes. Miran would more than likely be holding a coffee in one hand, even though he already had one that morning, but it keeps the man energized throughout the day so.. Why not! On the other hand, as the Librarian, he would connect with the teachers and ask how he could help the teachers in any way. For example, after talking to a science professor, he would gather good sources for students to use, as well as provide databases if research was needed.

Backstory
Specifically, there are three occasions in his pre-high school days where he picked up on this and found that literature was a great way to overall improve his well-being. He needed something that would clear his mind, not overwhelm his emotions, and allow him to be creative. That was found on the first occasion during his 4th year in elementary school. His parents couldn't pick him up till late that day, so he found himself in the library. Miran would never forget, Mrs. Saito, who allowed him to stay in her library as she prepared for the rest of the week's work. At that time he was a snobby kid, “ reading wasn't cool”, but she handed him a book.. Granted he forgot the title. About these siblings who fight against dragons to save their school! Silly, right? However, the time moved by really fast as he opened his mind to the adventures of these siblings. The result.. He would show up every week on Monday, as for a new book, read it, and come back the next week.
The second occasion was in 6th year of elementary school when he discovered the Odyssey.. Oh how that kept him entertained, the stories of a brave adventurer, no, a KING just trying to get home to his wife and son.. This made him curious about Greek mythology, how many stories were out there? All thanks to one English class with Mr. Tanaka, instead of reading a fairy tale, he read a quickened story about Icarus. Mr. Tanaka had seen how Miran's eyes sparkled just a tiny bit, and when Miran had approached him after class with a question.. He introduced Miran to one of the biggest heroes' journeys of all.
The third occasion was during his 2nd year of secondary education, (8th grade), when he was told by a school counselor to write down things when he had a lot on his mind.. Obviously he had scoffed.. But then he tried it out one late Friday night. Journalism. That's what it was. But not as in magazines, no, a journal. He would write down how he was feeling if it mattered, or, he would write stories whenever an idea popped into his head! Eventually, he got more confident in his writing and started to make literature for potential publication..? Yeah!
Now that was all young life, his high school days went by quickly, far too quickly. A blur of sorts, yet he had the library. It was a safe haven, a place he felt unjudged while so many uncertainties entered his life. Now the school he attended wasn't the best, though the staff did try their hardest to make up for it. Especially the librarians who seemed to work crazy hours after school to provide some normalcy to such a strange place that was his high school.
Miran graduated and went on to study philosophy getting a bachelors, while getting a minor in Greek Mythology and Literature. While this was all happening, he had yet another rough patch, but his studies made him continue onward. He would have late nights or get in an argument, but the next day he would show up to class with an open mind. That's the duality he has, Miran has seen what a negative environment is like, and he has experienced what that can do to an individual. However, he has not let that drag him downwards. Post-college he took some off to himself, however, it was another dark moment in his life. Without good guidance, the foundation he had was thinning. He did some things he was not proud of and went to jail, did his time, and while he was doing so, had time to reflect on his childhood. Yes, it wasn't the best, however, he was able to have something to go to, something to distract the mind, calm the emotions, and allow some control.
Now he’s been out for a year or so and wants to improve himself. He has a daughter who he wants to be better for, every day has been getting better and better. Miran was able to get a job at a local library, aspiring to make an impact on the family that goes in and out. It would be a lie to say he wasn't even the tiniest of jealous to see the family, which as a result, has only made him want to improve his own more. He aspires to be like those teachers he had in elementary and secondary school, the absence of such a figure in high school is something he thinks about a lot. Now Miran wants to be that positive presence at the high school, and college levels, because he wants to put light onward, despite the darkness he endured. The man is a father, his bond with his daughter is good, though it's improving. He's a philosopher, always finding meaning in things, while also having the ability to question things. He’s grown, over the many years leading him to the age of 38. Even with a rough background, he’s improved, he’s making an impact and is an understanding man if there ever was one.
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
“I have always admired how KHS has been able to educate students and set an academic foundation for a future wherever their heart desires. I for one did not have such resources when I was in my high school years, however, we did have a library and I would drown myself spending hours within it. As I progressed into adulthood, I continued to cherish those days, now I find myself wanting to honor that and be the figure that I had. A full circle moment. KHS staff is a group of people who are diverse and highly talented, to be a part of it is a great honor. I want to now provide a safe learning space for students, like I had been provided, as well as work with a group of individuals that are always collaborating, yet, put the students first. “
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
“A librarian is someone who is well-rounded, well-versed, and calm. While I have those qualities, a librarian is someone who should be humbled, easygoing, and easy to talk to. I will not just be answering questions, organizing books, and giving out library cards, no, I'll be engaged and actively helping students, or even faculty. While one might know a story, I understand its perspective and strive to understand deeper meanings. Life has a way of doing that. Why me over the others? I bring a flair as a librarian, creating a safe and positive environment that values academic progress. Not just success. But progress. After all, there is more to a story than the beginning, middle, and end, there are peaks and valleys, and distractions. However, I will be that person students can go to as they continue their academic journeys. “
