When it comes to activity, I’d say I’m very active! SRP is a place where I spend a lot of my day, if not most, playing every single day since I’ve met so many amazing people, and every day there is a new scenario to roleplay. It’s been at least 2 or 3 months since I’ve started, I can see myself continuing this way for a very long time. I usually play as much as I can each day, but my work days are random. However, I still find time every day to play on the server. With that in mind, I will provide a table displaying my availability. When it comes to activity, I’d say I’m very active! SRP is a place where I spend a lot of my day, if not most, playing every single day since I’ve met so many amazing people, and every day there is a new scenario to roleplay. It’s been at least 2 or 3 months since I’ve started, I can see myself continuing this way for a very long time. I usually play as much as I can each day, but my work days are random. However, I still find time every day to play on the server. With that in mind, I will provide a table displaying my availability. What is your motivation for applying?:
My motivation for applying stems from the first time one of my characters (Stenzo Q. Ren) was arrested. Before the arrest, my character was involved in a physical altercation, and from there, I was able to get a better glimpse of what unfolds within the KPD faction. During the time my character was being booked, I spent several OOC hours in the cell. Here, I learned more about the aspects of the role. I loved seeing how everyone operated together as a team, and I could tell how much the Officers enjoyed their roles. This allowed me to gain an appreciation for the time and effort that is put into the faction. Something that stood out to me was the interrogation process in addition to the investigation. Some of which consisted of hearing each player's side, reviewing CCTV footage, and questioning witnesses. Following this experience, I made an active effort to reach out to members of the KPD faction in order to learn more about what the role entails. I was pleased to discover that each person I asked was content with their position and generally had a lot of fun. This piqued my interest and motivated me to hopefully become a part of the team.
Additionally, I’m very interested in making new kinds of connections via RP. Throughout the time of me playing, I’ve helped newer players learn the game aspects after giving them guides. I’ve introduced some of my own friends to the game, who end up staying long term, and I believe doing so has led me to be able to come back to support me since a lot of those players stick around getting more invested into the game where they would factions, and such telling me all kinds of stories they’ve experienced working in the fields. For example, I have multiple friends who’ve made their way into the EMS faction. I’ve heard the joy, and entertainment it brings them. Not only that, but they’ve made so many new bonds from the players they work with, I just feel motivated hearing the stories that come up. I also strongly feel as if this would further improve my roleplays that I currently have going on. This would open the door for a lot more opportunities for myself, and start a few things I’ve been thinking of accomplishing since I began my earliest days on School Roleplay Server.
What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
When it comes to having knowledge of police work, I’d say I’m pretty informed. With that said, there are also a lot of things I don't know, but I’m open and willing to learn! I was able to learn a lot by speaking with members of the KPD faction in addition to utilizing the resources made available by the server, such as the KPD Equipment forum. This is as far as my knowledge goes when it comes to the Karakura Police Department! I’ve done my fair amount of studying, and speaking to the resources we have available. Thank you for the opportunity to explain.
Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
Karakura Police Department is a crucial force within School Roleplay. The reason they hold so much importance to the server is because without them, the world of SRP would be a lawless land where players would do anything they like at any given time. For example, crimeRP and gangRP are both very roleplayed out things in SRP and without any line of defense against them, players would have the ability to do as they please. This would not only ruin the RP aspect of things, but make the game a lot less serious when it comes to RP, since most people would just engage in physical altercations knowing they’d get away with what they have going on freely.
Furthermore, crime isn’t the only time where KPD is necessary. Other than putting “fear” into players' minds when they commit crimes that hold consequences, they also hold a great amount of faction connection towards Emergency Services for SRP! During a lot of calls, you’ll notice that it’s not always just KPD that shows for the emergencies, they tie in well with the EMS department that the city has. It’s awesome seeing the two factions interact with one another!

What's your character's full name?:
Amir would stand up upon being asked the question. He’d roll his shoulders back, presenting himself highly as he holds his hand over his heart, watching the interviewer closely for reactions. “My name is Amir Vidaurra. It's easily memorable, so I hope it’s a name that can be called upon with ease.” He smiles, removing his hand from his chest and reaching out to offer a handshake, intending to show further respect. He’d step back, crouching into his chair.
How old is your character (if accepted)?:
Amir held a grin on his face upon hearing his favorite question. “My age huh?” He’d say leaning back into his chair. He’d take a moment to stretch before pulling himself forward. “I’m twenty-five years young. It’s one of my most appealing qualities actually.. I’m very fit, and well managed for my age, you know.” He’d maintain his smile, holding a somewhat smug look on his face as he shows a brighter smile to the interviewer. “I will make sure to.. Express this to my peers of course. In a mature way, I just love hearing about how my elders miss their mid 20’s.” He’d chuckle at his own remark. He can be a bit full of himself at times.

He’d keep the answer short not feeling the need to speak too much on this topic. “I go by He/Him pronouns, feel free to address me as such.” He’d just barely lift his hand from his thigh giving a wave to the interviewer.

He’d hold a blank stare, taking a second to process his words before speaking. “I actually lived in America before moving to Japan. I did all of my schooling in the states. I took a gap year after high school, so I started college at 19.” He’d glance up towards the ceiling, taking the moment to look around the room while doing so. “After my gap year I spent about 6 years in college. I went to Sam Houston State University. There I obtained a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and then went the same route for my Masters, but with an emphasis on Cybercrime. It's also during this time that I was able to gain fluency in Japanese.”
What languages does your character know besides Japanese?:
Amir would take this opportunity to sign his name In Japanese Sign Language. “Hello, my name is Amir!” He’d let out a chuckle before continuing on with his interview. “As I mentioned earlier, I was born in the States and also doing my college years there. During them, I learned Japanese! Additionally my mother was hard of hearing, therefore she taught me Sign Language to communicate with her in different ways. That being said, I decided to learn Japanese Sign Language along with Japanese as I was already skilled in Sign Language.” He’d smile at the thought of his mother. He’d be full of himself at times, but his mother always kept him down to earth. He'd perk up forgetting to mention something! "I also speak English! As I said before, I'm from the states. Forgive me for forgetting to mention that.." He'd chuckle being forgetful at times.
Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
"I'm gonna stand up for this one." He says, standing from the chair. He takes the time to adjust the collar of his shirt, locking eyes with the interviewer and then speaking, "For starters, if I were to describe myself, I'd start with my eyes. I have brown eyes, inherited from my beautiful mother. I have a bushy hair on my sides of my head with long brown dreads which have black highlights on the tips." His dreads were a feature that often caught the gaze of others, especially in Japan. He grabs a handful of his dreads and flicks them back, the gesture sends them curling over his back. "As for my overall body, I'd describe myself as very in shape. I have a nice, muscular build. Not too muscular though, make no mistake, I'm still very agile." He continues, brushing his hand across his stomach. "Additionally, my legs are built! I have a strong calf shape. " His expression shifts into a smile, pleased to be showing off the body he'd built step by step. "I'm very happy with myself. As for what makes me unique, I believe it would be the fact that my body is evidence that the progress I have is progress I worked for myself." He says, showing off his biceps. A self satisfied grin replaces his earlier proud smile and his gaze returns to the interviewer. "When it comes to personality, I'd describe myself as serious but with an open door. That's a pretty loose way to word it, but I'll explain further." He speaks with hand gestures before crouching to take a seat once more. "For one, I'm always scanning the room. I've been called hyperactive from a young age.." He trails off, a grim look overtaking his face. "I've always hated being told that. I just like knowing what's going on around me, I have no problems focusing on what's given to me." He says, his expression shifting and his tone becoming more serious. "I'm more than aware that being serious all the time makes me seem stuck up. I'm also aware that joking all the time will make me come off as childish. So, I try to find a balance between the two, where I can be myself while being aware of what's going on during my job." He finishes up his explanation, leaning forward in his chair in an act of preparation for more questions.
Amir Vidaurra holds a very strong presence in any room he's in. He holds himself highly and treats those around him with respect. He's skilled at reading the room without letting it interfere with his ability to enjoy the life he has. Though he's aware his demeanor can seem full of himself, he embraces it, carrying himself with unwavering confidence and his head held high. He's very observant of the situations he's placed in. When it comes to fun, socializing is his favorite aspect. Following habits from his numerous martial arts classes, he enjoys studying and learning about the people he interacts with. Frequently finding good spirit in fishing, hiking, and flirting. You'd catch him anywhere, with anyone! Someone who has no problem seeing the beauty in life and the fun it has to offer for him overall.
As for what makes him stand out, he has the ability to bring the hearts out of people. He has a high maintenance younger sister and put plenty of effort into including her wherever he could, whether that be taking her on walks, allowing her to ruin his face with makeup, or bringing her along on hangouts with his friends. His habits carry onto who he is, a person anyone could rely on, a big brother figure who reassures people with his energy and his words.
How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
Amir gave the moment a thought before answering. “When it comes to being professional I feel I do an amazing job at flipping that necessary switch. There’s a time, and place for everything.” He’d pause for a moment preparing to explain the different settings..
- “In a professional setting I’m very clear. Very honest, very hearty about what I do and what I need done.” He’d check his posture sitting up straight. “As I said before, I know at times I’m a bit much.. that’s completely gone when I’m serious. I’m already very aware of the room, but getting into more serious situations I’m even more focused. I’m quick to go from a relaxed moment like this..” He folds his arm, making a gentle wave. “Into a shift of seriousness like this.” He slams his hand into the other. “I’m always focused, taking any, and every call seriously especially if I were to be on duty.” He wraps his first part up adjusting his collar before continuing onto his next bit of focus.
- “Now, in a more casual light I’d say I’m more laid back but painfully enough I’m still aware of the things going on around me.” He’d sigh, having an almost annoyed look on his face. “When I was in America, I took lots of classes to help me develop my martial arts. I believe the joy I found in that hobby turned me into a more serious person overall. But, that’s why I make the jokes I do to ease situations. I do enjoy it when I’m able to speak with my sister though. I believe she relaxes me the most, being my comfort person, she really takes after our mother.” He states, smiling as he speaks about her. “That’s it!” He finishes up.
What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
He’d grin upon hearing the question being asked. “I’m very open to teamwork, and working with coworkers!” He’d clap his hands together with excitement. “Patrolling doesn’t seem easy, it seems dangerous even. So, having trustworthy people with you, not even limited to patrolling, in general is an amazing thing.” He’d smile, being very open to working to those around himself knowing he’d have trustworthy people around himself. “I’d say, two is always better than one. Regardless of how safe a situation may be, why risk it when being safe is always the priority.” He says, wrapping his explanation up.
What's your character's backstory?
Arc 1:
Growing up in the state of California, in the city of Marina Del Rey, Amir grew up like any other curious child with the freedom California gave. He was kept well occupied, exploring, making friends, and gaining talents across his town. He had a great family upbringing, containing a wise but smart-mouthed younger sister named Dolly Viddaura, a very intellectually advanced mother named Catherine Viddaura, and holding the anchor of his family, a remarkable father named Darius Viddaura. During his younger years, Amir showed very strong interest in the actions of the world. He’d replicate scary things he saw on television. Minor things that could often hurt him like flipping around or doing tricks while skating. At the ripe age of 12, this much adrenaline was never enough for him. Being a young boy with such a drive to become a legend, he’d do whatever he could to leave a strong story. Whether it be dangerous parkour around the city, being in places he shouldn’t be, you name it. The only thing keeping Amir intact till this day was his mother. She was quick to catch an attitude with him, but even quicker to keep him in his place. She was huge on education, being a nurse at the VERY young age of 23. She knew Amir would turn out to be a star, a raging one if he put his mind to it, but he was more of an activist than he was a book reader. Therefore he would keep all of his education high, but his activity just as much. His father would always approve of what he had done, stating that he’s a “Young boy who wants to leave behind a legend.” Stating he’s exactly how he was when he was younger. His father was an active lifeguard at Venice Beach. Venice Beach is a very well known tourist destination in Marina Del Rey, therefore his father was very active on his feet as well, that being one of the very many traits Amir inherited. Unlike his father and him though, his little sister Dolly at the age of 5 years old was very reserved, short spoken, and had an attitude that came from her mother. Amir would always speak about his amazing little sister, seeing what others could not, always praising her skill for creativity, her quick wits in socializing even if minimal and telling her she’d grow up to be someone the world would love on fast. He was always a caring boy, but an even more amazing person to the family. The Viddaura family wasn’t large, but they’re happy. Happy enough to live day by day, loving one another, and creating new memories. These were the pleasant younger memories of Amir.
Arc 2:
Now 16, Amir decided he wanted to do something with his life. He'd have the option to go down the path of his father saving others as a lifeguard, or the very long route his mother had taken to become a nurse. "Lots of options, not enough of a lifetime to live them." He'd whine often about the things he wanted to do, but was limited within what he could. Being a young prodigy, he'd know he was blessed. He had a young body full of vitality, a top-notch brain, and a family who'd stand behind him no matter what he did. He'd be lost in his thoughts. Plenty of times he had spoken to his elders, hearing the same kinds of things, but there was one thing he could never let go. The adrenaline from the action. During this time of his youth, he'd take martial arts classes, doing what he could to keep himself busy, but he didn't want to go pro. He felt as if that wasn't where the money was. It wasn't until a career day came upon him during his time in High School where he met an officer. One officer that would change his viewpoint on the thrill of life, filling his head with new passions. He inquired of the officer why they did what they did, and was told. "There's nothing better than seeing someone you helped live another day. The feeling of knowing others can smile again because you saved them. That's why I do what I do." This caused Amiri to have a sudden rush of realization. He wanted to be an officer! Specifically, he wanted to leave behind a story others could remember forever. Deciding if he didn't do it, who would? He quickly planned out his next steps in life, deciding college was gonna be the first part of who he was going to be in life.

Amir shakes his head. “Absolutely not. You may not carry blades around as a pocket knife in Karakura.” He’d lean back, finishing there.

If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
He’d release a sigh. “For starters, I’d step into the situation being aware of the fact that anything could happen if I refuse to intervene. After doing so, I’d make sure the inmate receives proper medical attention informing EMS of the inmate's injuries, and providing the support I can.” He’d crack his knuckles, popping each finger. “After doing so, I’d inform my higher ups. Upon seeing my co-worker is corrupt, I’d instantly inform one of my higher ups. Doing so, not only prevents further harm to the force, but prevents me from getting dragged into anything.” He grits his teeth. “I put up with a lot, but one thing I can’t stand is betrayal. Backstabbing others for your own personal game is disgusting.” He says with slight irritation in his tone, wrapping up his statement there.
How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
Amir would hold a confused face wondering if the criminal was trying to humor him. He’d inform him “No, I won’t be doing you any favors for money. Continue that and you’ll be charged with a fine for attempting to bribe me.” ending the conversation there refusing to further entertain it.

He’d release a sigh. “For starters, I’d step into the situation being aware of the fact that anything could happen if I refuse to intervene. After doing so, I’d make sure the inmate receives proper medical attention informing EMS of the inmate's injuries, and providing the support I can.” He’d crack his knuckles, popping each finger. “After doing so, I’d inform my higher ups.
