I’m very active on the server. Usually, I play a minimum of about 4 hours a day to a maximum of 12. I spend a great majority of my time on SRP, so inactivity will not be an issue with me if this application is accepted.

I’m applying for the Receptionist role.
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
As a Receptionist, there’s a few things you’re expected to do while working. While at the front desk it’s important to assist students in any way possible, whether that be giving directions to their class or handing out schedules upon request, and copying papers. It’s also a Receptionist’s responsibility to keep the hallways clear and intervene between any fights that may be occurring. If a student is injured, you’d help escort them to the Nurse’s office. Same goes if a student comes up to you clearly intoxicated. Besides helping students and stopping fights, Receptionists also hand out reward tokens.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I don’t have any experience with any SRP jobs or more specifically school positions, but I do enjoy detailrping when I can. I started playing on the server in early September of this year, and ever since that point I’ve been on almost every day and have engaged in many roleplays with all sorts of people during the past few months.

Situations
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
After hearing everything the student had to say, Tim would simply pause and stop what he was doing to look up at them before proceeding. Shrugging off their remarks, he’d inform the student that vulgar language and rude remarks are not acceptable. After this, he’d ask the student to go to their class or wherever they needed to be at the moment. If the student refused and continued their disruptive behavior, Tim would then call over a counselor or fellow staff member to help issue the student a detention.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
After noticing a fight occurring, Tim would immediately come over and step between the students to stop the fighting. He’d also get other staff members to help break it up if there were any close by. Once the students were separated, he’d ask them both if they were alright, and would glance them over to insure they had no serious injuries. If one or both of the students had an injury, he’d escort them to the Nurse’s office so they could be treated. If neither student was injured, he’d instead question them on how and why the fight started, and would even ask any people around them at the time if they knew what happened. Depending on the context of how the fight began, Tim would give the students a warning or possibly even a detention.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
If Tim were to observe another employee displaying reckless and dangerous behavior, he’d start by pulling them aside to a private place so he could talk to them. He’d inform them that they both know whatever behavior they were exhibiting isn’t acceptable for staff, and would ask them to cease from what they were previously doing. He’d also warn the employee that if he personally saw, or heard of their behavior again from another staff member he’d take it upon himself to let higher-ups know of what they’ve been doing. He’d make sure to speak to his coworker in a tone where he didn’t come off as rude, but in a way to let them know he was serious about the matter at hand.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
During breaks, Tim would be very friendly to his coworkers. Being a very social person, he’d make small talk and pleasant conversation to those looking to have a chat. He’d greet any employees who’d enter after him, then spend the rest of his break relaxing by sitting in a chair and taking care of any work he needed to get done, or by responding to unread messages on his phone.

/me He’d stand up from his chair, double checking no students needed his assistance before heading back to the copier. Fiddling with the settings, he’d lean against the wall quietly waiting for more school schedules to finish printing. Once it finished, he’d neatly stack the papers and put them in their proper storage location before returning to his chair, attentively scanning the hallways for any arguments or fights.
/me After processing the students request for directions to the gym, he’d give a small smile and nod at the student. “Of course, why don’t I write it down for you too.” Grabbing a slip of paper, he’d quickly jot down some general directions on how to get to the gym from the front desk. He would pass the paper over to the student, beckoning in the general area of the gym. “If you’re still unable to find it, please come back here and I can show you. Have a good day.” He’d then send the student on their way, making sure they were headed the right way.
/me Glancing at the clock, he’d stand up to leave the front desk at the end of the school day. Pushing in his chair, he’d give a final sweep of the area ensuring all loose papers were in their proper spot, and lock up any drawers and doors that needed it. Exiting the front desk area, he’d fumble with his keys so he could properly lock that door as well. Leaving the building he’d give a short goodbye to those around him and wave to any coworkers or students he saw.

Backstory:
Tim Hunluan was born in the Netherlands where he would grow up for the first major portion of his life. However, when he turned 13 Tim was sent to live in Karakura to continue his education. This was a particularly difficult period in his life due to all the major changes he had to go through. Tim had to adjust to living by himself without the support of his parents or his twin brother. Not only that, he also had to learn how to speak an entirely new language in a short amount of time so he could communicate with the people around him. Being a naive child all by himself, in his early years of highschool Tim met all sorts of people who would eventually take him under their wing, and teach him skills that’d he remember for years to come. Although, some of these people he met weren’t exactly law abiding citizens.
Around the time Tim became a senior in highschool was also when he’d start to take on a more rebellious attitude. He’d act out more frequently, and get into fights outside of school. Even though Tim has to this day never gotten suspended or expelled, there were several times in his senior year where Tim got detention due to his behavior. But nonetheless, he’d complete whatever task he was given in detention and move on without a word. His reckless behavior ultimately led to him getting his left leg cut off, and left eye removed on separate occasions.
Tim’s behavior began to change when he met three highschoolers named Feenie, Ash, and Kat. The four of them developed a strong bond and Tim would go out of his way to protect them. Shortly after this, he’d meet his current fiance Sasha. Finding this new family gave Tim motivation to completely change himself as a person, as he vowed to get into college, never get a detention again, and most importantly stop all fighting. His determination paid off, and he was accepted into college. During his years in college Tim worked extremely hard in all of his classes, making sure his grades were good enough for him to be able to double major in Education and Liberal Arts, even at this time he knew that in the future he’d like to work some position on the school staff.
Tim graduated from college in 2015, having succeeded in double majoring. Unsure of what exactly he wanted to do next he held off from applying for a job for some time. He knew he wanted to return to KHS since it was one of the places that gave him the motivation to better himself as a person, and after some pondering he decided he wanted to one day become a Receptionist. It was a place that could suit his skills and interests, but also serve as a reminder to him of the person he used to be and how far he’s come.
Motivation for Joining KHS:
I suppose my motivations for joining the KHS team are rather simple, out of all the possible jobs this is the one that interests me the most and best suits my skills. A job where I can socialize daily with many people, while also helping those who need it is definitely a job where I’d feel accomplished at the end of each day. Becoming a Receptionist is something that’s interested me for quite some time. I've been contemplating applying for a bit and decided now was the perfect moment to take my shot and see how it goes. I’d like to be able to contribute to the welcoming environment the school has, and make a positive impact while doing my job.

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I feel as though there’s at least a few reasons I should be picked over other applicants. In general, I’m sure most would refer to me as a social and friendly person. I do whatever it takes to help those around me, especially my close friends and family. I’d have no issues talking to students on a daily basis, and helping them with whatever they may come to me with is something I’d excel at doing, which is one reason I believe I’d fit the position. On the other hand though, I am an extremely firm person when needed. If someone is being blatantly disrespectful or causing issues I’m not the type of person to hesitate to call them out, I can deal with disruptive students in a calm and professional manner anytime. Ever since I was accepted into college, I’ve been working very hard to get my degrees and find a job that I’d truly like to do, and being a Receptionist is definitely the best option for me, since it's a job I know that I'd enjoy doing. I can also guarantee my full dedication to this job, you’ll never catch me slacking off during school hours or complaining about work.
