Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers are crucial to SRP, as they create far more realistic schooltime roleplay opportunities and systems for student players. Seeing as its a School RolePlay, it’d make sense that the main appeal of school, educators, would be important to uphold the theme. Without teachers, it’d simply be a campus roleplay, not much of a school one.
Within the roleplay, the teachers educate the students to support them along their way to college—college exams, general knowledge—and also create a solid discipline system to ensure all students fend off their unprofessional behaviour.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?:
Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?:
Yes

What's your character's full name?:
Faye Requo Genet-Jahii
What is your character's nationality?:
Vietnamese-Japanese
What is your preferred subject to teach?:
English
Describe your character:
Physical Appearance
Faye Jahii is a gender fluid semi-androgynous individual who stands at 5"3 with short-cut straight blonde hair—typically wavy at the ends—to match their golden beaming eyes. Faye's complexion is a pale pink, no sign of melanin in sight. Faye's hair fell below their shoulders in the back, and just above their chin in the front of the head, in a short bob.
Below is a NameMC render of Faye.
Tailored by Squidalo
Personality
Faye is boisterous and outgoing; you'll barely ever find them sitting alone. Their life’s mission is to make everyone around them say “Wow, I feel so energised when that hottie’s around!” (Maybe not exactly worded like that if it’s coming from a minor, however) Their love for Taylor Swift shines through in all of their conversations; they tend to bring up the woman at least forty times a day.
To give further insight into this character, I've compiled four /me actions Faye would send throughout an IC school day.
/me twirled their hair, batting their eyelashes. &f”ME?!” &uthey exclaimed, &f”You wanted…” &uthey paused to take a deep, lovestruck sigh, &f”You decided to pick a bone with &ome?! &fWow, I’m truly honoured!” &uFaye twirled toward the student ballerina-style, taking them by their shoulder, they escorted the student to the door. As they opened it, they bowed. &f”The door, m’lord,” &uFaye elegantly announced.
/me abruptly rose from their seat and clapped their hands in the air. &f”&lALRIGHT EVERYBODY! &rLet’s get this going,” &uthey enthusiastically announced to the room. As they walked over to the classroom door, they spoke, &f”We can either play a game first or we can start with an information dump! Show of hands, who wants to start with the game?!” &uFaye closed the classroom door before walking back to their desk to count the hands.
/my eyes widened with true surprise. &6’&f&lOH MY GOODNESS!&r&6’ &uthey screeched at the top of their lungs, pointing over to the group of students sparring in the hallway. Faye bolted down the stairs and to where the flock of delinquents stood—well, some sat. They took a deep breath to reassure themselves it was alright. Then, they began, in a serious tone, &f”&oNow. I don’t care who started this, but I need all of you in that classroom. &lNow.&r” &uThey brought their pointer finger into the air, facing the nearest classroom—it wasn’t theirs, but it’d work.
/me took a quick peek at their watch. With a relieved sigh, they strolled over to their desk, taking their seat—they muttered something, however, it was too quiet for anyone to possibly hear. Raising their voice, they practically screamed, &f&l&o”CLASS DISMISSED, GET OUT OF MY ROOM!” &uThey grabbed a book from their top drawer, and after kicking up their legs onto their desk, they began reading it, mumbling the words to themself.
What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
Faye sees students as their subjects—whilst they must follow and respect them, their ruler will only gain that with the same amount of respect. Jahii does, however, still care for their students, they appreciate when students are authentic with them, as it shows that they create safe, comfortable environments for the students that they value. They enjoy being able to relate and talk to people near their age who live and work in the same space as them. Faye attempts to make faculty member's days better and always keeps out hope that they would do the same for Faye.
What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
Faye was previously a teacher at KHS, an English at that. They were for two years, however, due to their parents’ health issues (father’s death via cancer, mother’s dementia), they were unable to continue and had to take a leave from their position to take care of their mother. Now, their mother is stable enough to where she can move to Karakura, so that her eldest child can take care of her and work for money at once.
When Faye originally registered as an educator, iti was simply carrying on the family legacy, of the eldest from each generation being a teacher. However, in due time, Faye grew in love with their profession, finding joy in the students, co-workers, and everything about the job.

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
This is semi-dependent on what the content is—namely grammar, writing, and reading—however, as a general rule of thumb, reexplaining the matter in simpler terms is always a good idea. Realising their failure to explain it properly, Faye would also make sure that no other students had any further questions regarding the topic, with a simple show of hands—this, while ensures that students comprehend, also guarantees no students aren’t paying attention (or AFK).
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Once again, this is dependent. However, it's more dependent than the last scenario, so I will provide a response for each version of such.
Whispering Nearby; Inappropriate Jokes
In the case of the student simply whispering with nearby educatees, but making louder, inappropriate jokes, Faye wouldn't be bothered at all by the whispering; it's a student's right to communicate with other students. Though, the inappropriate jokes—typically of sexual, political, and discriminatory—would be fully unacceptable for the classroom. Upon hearing the jokes, Faye would simply turn to the student with a stern gaze and instruct them, "This instant, I expect your cease." Then, they'd continue their teaching. If the jokes continued, Faye would escort the student out of the classroom (/class kick) and that would be that (In the case that the student continued these jokes outside of the classroom and Faye was around to hear, they would give a threaten of detention, then detention).
️
Whispering Nearby; Appropriate Jokes
With these circumstances, there's no issue. Faye may give a chuckle to the joke, or if it's out of place and not with appropriate timing, they may simply shush the student. However, aside from that, there should not be consequences for children having fun within teachers' classes. That's the goal, isn't it?
️
Talking Loudly; Inappropriate Jokes
These conditions are the worst of them all. Faye would warn the student for the inappropriate jokes, with the same, "This instant, I expect your cease." Then, for the barbarous out-of-turn speaking, Faye would shush it the first few times. However, as it became less and less ignorable, Faye would hand out a warning for that as well, "Terminate your loud voice, or you'll be forbidden from this room." After just two warnings, the student's time in the class would be concluded (/class kick). If the child showed up to following classes or was found elsewhere in the school making the same unprofessional jokes, it would be an immediate detention slip alongside a removal from the class once more.
️
Talking Loudly; Appropriate Jokes
This is pretty much fine, Faye wouldn’t make too much of a fuss about it, they may shush the student a few times, and if their disruptions get too loud, they may be asked to leave the classroom (/class kick), however, aside from that, there’s not much else to do.
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
During my time as a teacher, I prided myself and received many compliments about my interactive and engaging class activities. I’m confident and proud of these four activities.
Among Us
This is based off of the internet game, Among Us. It starts with the students heading into the study hall on floor three. They’ll be spread out into different desks, and Faye will come to a few of said desks and whisper, “Crewmate.” One of these times, however, they’ll whisper, “Imposter.” This student is automatically selected as the imposter. Once the game starts, students will be able to walk around the full library, in an attempt to not get caught by the imposter, but find Mx. Jahii. Once they’ve found Mx. Jahii, who will be walking around as well, they’ll be able to ask them for a crewmate task. Typically, these tasks will simply be a question in regards to English, however, Faye may also ask the students to find a certain book on the bookshelf, or to flaunt their proper handwriting in a notebook. It is entirely random how each task is selected, though.
An imposter selects a student by tapping them on the shoulder. The student who gets tapped on the shoulder whispers out their favourite word, and the imposter has to spell it. If the imposter properly spells it, the student lays down on the floor. If the imposter improperly spells it, the victim may run away and spread rumours regarding who the imposter is—or keep it to themselves. It’s up to them. If a laid student is found, another student may yell out to summon others. Faye will use /class broadcast to summon the rest of the students. Once enough are there, a discussion will commence, alongside voting.
This should take a full period.
Battle Cry
In this game, students are split into two groups in the room. One group is lined up against the wall by the door, the other is lined up against the window. A planner and a leader will be decided in each group. Once they are, Faye will ask one group a question. If anyone from that group answers correctly, the group gets three moves. The planner gets to decide—after conversing with their group—who and where to move three blocks. They can move one person three blocks, three people one block, etc. Students must weave around desks to get to the other side of the classroom. Faye will be placed in different spots throughout the maze of desks, and if you reach them before you reach the other side—with good planning—then, your team will win! Not to fret, however, if one team gets Faye, Mx. Jahii will move to another spot within the classroom for, once again, either team’s benefit.
Each team will get a question for a chance to move their pawns. It goes back and forth until someone meets the above criteria. However, if two students from different teams are on the same block, the leaders from each team will be given the same English-relating question, and whoever answers first, gets to abduct the other team’s pawn into a member of their own team.
Election
In this activity, three students will be selected as candidates for mayor. Each of them will be given a form of persuasion—Ethos, Pathos, Logos, these will be discussed in a short lecture before the activity—to use in their campaign for mayor of the classroom. They’ll have one debate, and one individual speech per candidate. Students can partake by asking questions during speeches, the debate, and by cheering or booing if they so wish. Candidates can speak with students individually to try to persuade them, and students may talk amongst themselves for support in these trying times, as well.
At the end of the class, with a show of hands, there’ll be the election. Whoever wins then gets to make a short speech, and whoever loses also has permission to. This is a basic class idea, in the grand scheme of things, but it’s easy to comprehend (henceforth it’s better for classes with a large number of new players) and opens up many doors for interaction between students. At the end of class, if there’s time, students may be asked to write in a notebook who they voted for and give their reasoning.
Conspiracy Theories
Students will be put into four groups. Each group must talk amongst themselves to come up with a conspiracy theory regarding Faye Jahii—these may include anything. Absolutely anything. Is Faye Jahii pregnant with Santa Claus’ child? Sure! Anything that’s semi-school appropriate is welcome in this section—these theories will be presented to the class with just one sentence from each group. Then, work time is given for the groups to write down details for their theory. This lets students practise good storytelling and coming up with a plot. Hopefully, after this work time, there’ll be time for the groups to read their writing and possibly give demonstrations if requested.
These stories will be graded on creativity.
