Resource Pack isn't working

I used to go on this server and I really wanted to come back, so I did. I've had this issue for a while even when I used to play, minecraft would freeze up, and I would most likely not be able to join about two or three times due to being disconnected from the server, but after that I would be fine. Today when I tried to join with the resource pack, I couldn't get on the server at all. It kept giving me different reasons for why I wasn't able to join. I was either disconnected, or there was an "Internal Exception" I tried to raise the gigabites in the launcher but all it did was lag my computer, I thought that it could of helped but it didn't. I couldn't delete any of my other resource packs either, a message pops up whenever I try to delete them or move them out of the resource pack folder. Please help!

I don't know if this will help, it only works every so often with me, but if you have the server added, delete it and re-add it and try to download the resource pack again.

Aw man I just tried it and it says the same thing ;-; thank you anyways

Easy fix! The same thing happened to me, don't worry it's very common. All you have to do is
1. Go to your server multiplayer list.
2. Select the schoolRP sever.
3. Click "Edit"
4. Where it says "Resource Pack Settings" I think it says,
5. Click it till it says "Prompt"
6. Click "Done"
And boom it's fixed. You may have to do it every once and a while, but it works.
