Resource pack issue

I have been trying to do this for the past day (aka on Mac)
Everytime I join the server, the resource pack hasn't been loading. It cause the app to crash and happens over and over again. I even tried every solution, but still doesn't work. HELP!

Your not the only one, a week or two ago I tried to get on SchoolRP. The resource pack wasn't loading at all. Idk what version i'm suppose to be on, and I am also on Mac.

optifine is different on mac, plus the most popular versions are 1.13.2 and 1.14
