Resource pack never loads?

I've had this problem for a few months, maybe even a year. Whenever i'd try to use the resource pack It would download it, freeze my game for maybe 5 minutes? and disconnect me. I've tried doing prompt and "downloading it automagically" and I've deleted it off of server resource packs multiple times and tried loading it. This is what my inventory looks like.

Try to Change the MC version that you are playing or delete the server from your list and re-add it.
