Do people really roleplay in the server these days? It feels more like a hangout area rather than a roleplay server. Anyone wanna actually rp?

The plaza definitely since it's where most people afk, wait for friends, etc. But everywhere else on SRP I've not noticed this at all.

If you want lots of rp, join a faction or club!! They're super fun and you get lots of rp frok them :3

There really are only like 100 people online at most. I used to be able to start up conversations with randoms and roleplay with them, and finding people are rather difficult. Plus, I cant use the vending machine and I cant sprint :((

If you're only seeing 100 on then it's your timezone I fear. The server averages closer to 200, little over per day.
And for the vending machine, you just gotta jump! The interaction thing is higher up for some reason. But if that isn't working either come to the shrine and we'll kit you out with some food!

About your question- like urufu said, they are people who actually roleplays! I’m the one who actually enjoys a good roleplay filled with lore and emotions. Try to make interesting and unique character and you will eventually find someone to RP with! (Getting skin in SRP style also helps, people do not talk with namemcs skins… which is kinda sad and discriminating. I know a lot of tailors and I tailor on my own as well, I can also help you with it!) Unless you already have it, Idrk.

Thanks a ton both of you. How do I join a group and factions? How do I search for people who want to RP? I'm not used to how this server works and it's rules.

Joining factions is a bit of a process, but it is absolutely worth it!!

Firstly, you'll need to be in the Discord for the faction you want to join:
- Teachers, Professors, and School Faculty will go into the Academics Server.
- Government, Reporters, Shrine, Shopkeepers, and Business Owners go in the Town server.
- KPD and EMS go in the Emergency Server.
- BMD go in the Crime Server.

Then, you'll be able to see when applications are open! But you can apply before that so don't worry!! To actually apply, on the forums go to Character Applications -> then to the correct thread. Should be pretty easy to find where you need to be!

Finally, check the Formats (they'll be pinned in the faction's specific thread), copy it over onto your own forum post (inside the thread), and fill out the questions to the best of your ability! Don't be afraid to look at other people's applications, but make sure you don't use AI and ensure that your application is your work - no plagarism!

Sometimes, I don't have time to RP out an entire scene - but I still log on to have a quick chat with a friend. Not everyone is available for RP at any given moment, but usually, every player has RP potential!
