Backstory:
Remi was born in Paris, on the day April 28th, 2001, his parents raised him well but they were always the type of people to hold a lot of secrets. When Remi was young he was always energetic and full of life whenever he went places. He loved going to school to see friends and he always told stories to people how his parents were loving and caring. However, Remi was being lied to and didn’t know the dark secrets of his parents. Remi’s mom and dad would go out late at night to sell various illegal items and break into people's cars to make their money. They did this since Remi was a baby and kept it hidden from him till one day he found out. The day Remi found out he was heart broken, the family had just finished up their dinner around 7:30 PM, they told Remi to go to bed right after. Remi did as they asked but was confused why they were sending him to bed so early as he was 14. He snuck down the stairs and peered around the wall just a bit so his parents couldn’t see him. Remi saw them with masks in their hands, tools and heavy vests on as they walked out the door, shutting the door behind them. Right then and there, Remi broke down in tears, he was devastated that all his life his parents were doing nothing but hiding secrets from him when he thought they were perfect people. The stories he told at school about his parents being loving and caring were all fake, he didn’t know that they were hurting people by taking their belongings. He stayed up all night, waiting for his parents to return home.
Eventually, he heard the door open at midnight, going down stairs, standing right in front of his parents with a serious expression on his face. His parents' eyes widened in shock that he caught them and were frozen in fear because they never expected the day where Remi would find out. After a couple minutes of silence they decided to sit down at the kitchen table with Remi. He non-stop was asking his parents all types of questions and wouldn’t stop till each one was answered. They stayed up super late explaining why they did everything but Remi was extremely pissed that this all happened without him knowing. Remi then began to fight and argue with his parents, telling them how wrong it is, robbing innocent people who have done nothing. He told them that if they did it as a Karma scenario then it would have been a different story, but it wasn't. This was a daily occurrence now.
After a year of pain and constant arguments since he found out who his true parents were, Remi decided to pack two big suitcases full of his clothes and important belongings. He got a job to save up for a plane ticket to Japan. As Remi was flying over to Japan, there were moments where he would sob quietly cause he knew he was leaving his family, cousins and loved ones behind. There was one main thing that was on his mind which was him thinking how his parents could have treated him like this, how could they lie his whole life and not tell him what was really going on? Somehow Remi managed to stay strong and landed in Japan safely. Eventually while looking at a map of Japan in the airport, Remi decided to live in the town of Karakura cause it looked like a small peaceful town. He took a bus there, once he got to the town he knew instantly it was home. Someone was kind enough to show him around the town and where his apartment would be. He unpacked all his belongings in the apartment and settled down, taking a few deep breaths to calm himself down from crying. That night before Remi went to bed, he looked out his apartment window and enjoyed the beautiful view of the town. He couldn’t believe that at the age of 15 his life was like this and he just reached a new town.
The next morning he woke up continuing to work on putting his parents behind him, he knew he had to start to push forward and think about his own life. When he went to Karakura highschool he made it a goal to be friendly to everyone, outgoing and most importantly caring. He met some really nice people the first day in town, even though he was a bit shy he still worked through that. Remi eventually exchanged phone numbers with the students he met and invited them over to his apartment to get to know him better. The friends he made love Remi, he is goofy, funny but most importantly professional. They love how Remi is caring of others and willing to put others before himself when needed. He still is struggling to tell people his past because he loved his parents with all his heart, until that night came where everything went downhill and it broke him. A few years went by and he found a gang to join, he was very interested to join it and always wondered what it was like to be in his parents shoes even though they hurt him. The gang he joined was called Owari, he made it a goal to be loyal and there for his gang members whenever needed. Remi liked the thrill of putting his life at risk and wanted people who tried to hurt him or his members to experience karma. Owari was almost like Remi’s family, his gang members were like his brothers and sisters to him so it brought him joy and comfort. However, eventually after some time passed the gang ended up getting disbanded which resulted in Remi changing his name to what he is known right now, Satsujin 'Ziro' Severin.
While Remi was in a gang he met the love of his life named Kalen. He was everything to Remi, perfect in every way, the man of his dreams. They fell in love with each other in a heartbeat, they both knew they were meant for each other. Remi took Kalen to a dance one night and they had the time of their lives, holding each other in their arms and enjoying every second of that night like it was their last. Both of them looking into each other's eyes, getting lost, not being able to speak. They were in sync while dancing and both were experiencing the same emotions, true love. Remi didn’t know how quickly it would end though, Kalen ended up losing feelings for him and that left Remi lost and confused. Kalen was that one person who Remi fully trusted and loved more than anything in the world and it was gone in seconds. He wishes he could get him back but knows to give him space. After all this loss, Remi is looking for a family to adopt him, as well as someone to love. Overall, is enjoying the move to Karakura and knows it was the right decision. Afterall, He didn’t want to live in a world where he would be constantly arguing with his parents and needed to get away from them.
