Okay, as a Professor myself for SRP and since I'm on most of the time and very very active I know how difficult it is getting other school staff, or students that are not in College for detention. So why can't we have a community intercom that all school faculty can use and that everyone that is in school can see. So that if someone needs a school staff member like say a Janitor any school faculty can get them, since most of the time I'm on receptionist aren't on. Also for College Professors or Teachers to get different grade students for detention. Also in the case that you need an SLT, and the Vice-Dean or Dean isn't on, or if your a teacher and your SLT's aren't on you can get one of the other SLT's for assistance. I just feel like a community intercom would be very helpful and useful, for school faculty.

Overall not a terrible idea. Other members of SLT and I had discussed a command similar to /cic (College Intercom) and /ic (Highschool Intercom) which would allow us to globally intercom students without having to make use of an Administrative command (/event).

As it currently stands, one person cannot have permission to view and use both College & Highschool intercom due to the plugin itself not allowing it. I feel like the easier solution to this would be to have the permission system for this command be fixed entirely to allow Employees — as they serve both College and Highschool — & SLT to use both /cic and /ic.

Spoiler: TL;DR

Fix the permissions for both intercom commands to allow one person to view & use both and give permission to School Employee & SLT roles for CIC/IC.

- There is a special- pinned message on the KA Discord which mentions all the phone-numbers of Karakura High School teachers and or employees, though, this message is only displayed for those who are a part of the Karakura High School- Faculty. Professors unfortunately can not access the chat since professors most of the time are for College

This pinned message no longer exists due to all School Employee roles gaining access to /intercom.

It would be better if we received access to Karakura High School employee’s’ phone-number(s). Instead of using /intercom globally, you can just call them in private.

Any member of School Faculty can use a form of Intercom; Highschool Teacher, (Vice)Principal & any School Employee; purple-tag — it isn't only teachers and receptionists — have access to Highschool intercom, so if you need someone to intercom for you in the mean-time, I suggest going to one of those two roles.

Though generally speaking, you shouldn't need to deal with too many highschool students considering you're a College Professor, if a student does not attend detention, you can re-schedule the detention to a more appropriate time when there are faculty members online to intercom for you OR contact SLT In-Character should they blatantly miss the detention.

A global intercom command would be one of the most useful additions, at least in my opinion. Having to call intercoms is all fine and dandy until we have to call for a college student. If we do have to, we either have to contact them via OOC or get someone who has access to college intercom to do it for us, and it can get incredibly annoying.

So yes, please add a global intercom. !!!

I can see where a command like this could come in useful, although detentions aren't the biggest reason it would be useful I just find it inefficient to have to do /cic and then /ic. It would be useful to have one command for both to make it quick and simple for ALL Students. This is something that would come in handy for future school events. Along with this I believe some Adults still see Class Join announcements.
