Do Students Study?
25th of November, 2024
Studying plays a crucial part when it comes to education, yet not every student in Karakura seems to approach their education the same. Today’s topic, as you can guess from the title, is studying. It’s been a while Karakura, but I’m back in the workshop and ready to write reports once again. My name is Tsubaki Watanabe and I’m bringing you today’s school newspaper.
To get a clearer picture of statistics I went around the school and asked several students if they studied or not. This is what I found.
From the information I’ve gathered it appears almost even between those who study and those who don't. I then delved deeper for the students who didn’t study and what their reasonings were. Here’s what I found.
Apparently the majority of the reasons for not studying is because it’s boring. I can understand that but I’d rather keep my grades up so I find ways to make it more enjoyable, at least for me personally.
Moving on, for those who did state they study I asked how long they studied per day. This was the result.
It seems the most common duration of studying is 1-2 hours and from my personal experience that is a great amount of time. When it comes to studying you shouldn’t push yourself too hard. Make sure you take breaks in between if you plan on studying for a long duration of time. Don’t forget to hydrate and eat snacks to keep you energized. I also recommend not cramming yourself with studying the night before a big exam. Fun fact, it’s actually proven if you don’t study the day before an exam you’ll do better. Take the day before an exam to relax and just focus on yourself.
That’s all I have today, Karakura. If you have any topics you’d like to suggest to the club then you can find me around school or any of the other Journalists.
