The End Of Keio
The End Of Keio
Some spirits come in spite, don’t they? Others strike merely due to being summoned by others, doing the bidding of the summoner to act revenge and terror in hindsight of a situation.
I am Brandy Millwell, and in today's investigation is about former Journalism club leader, Keio Yeou-Akori, whom appeared to have died in some freak, spiritual accident inside the club room ..
THE DEATHLY HAUNTING
Keio Yeou-Akori, the head of the Journalism Club at Karakura High School, often stayed late after school to finish editing the club's articles. One evening, as they worked in the dimly lit journalism club room, they decided to make a cup of coffee to stay awake. The old coffee machine, which had been in the room for as long as anyone could remember, gurgled to life with a familiar hum. As they waited for their coffee, they felt an eerie chill crawl up their spine, the type of cold that clung to his bones. The room was unusually silent, save for the ticking of the wall clock and the faint drip of water from the leaky faucet in the corner.
Suddenly, the coffee machine began to sputter and groan, its noises becoming more violent and irregular. The lights flickered overhead, and Keio felt the air around them grow heavy with a sense of foreboding. Out of the corner of their eye, they saw a shadow move across the room, though no one else was there. They turned sharply, only to see the faint outline of a woman with long, disheveled hair standing by the window. Her eyes were hollow and dark, her face twisted in a silent scream. Keio froze in terror, recognizing the figure from an old school legend—the ghost of a former student who had mysteriously died in the same school many years ago.
As they stared in horror, the ghost glided toward the coffee machine, her hand passing through it as if she were manipulating the very air around it. The machine suddenly burst apart, sending scalding hot coffee and shards of glass flying through the room. Keio was of course struck, but it was of course, nothing fatal. Then the spirit approached, as it did so, the noises of the intercom turned on .. on it, played a previous intercom made by Keio over, and over. “ . . . if you own a functioning coffee machine, the journalism club could really use one!!” as it went off, it became nearly distorted . . “Because SOMEONEEE broke ours… again … the ghosts hate us and it’s all Millwell’s fault..” This continued to play over, and over—clearly the spirit was showing Keio that they were indeed right, the ghosts did hate them, perhaps specifically Keio .. what was this? Millwell’s revenge? Sending a spirit after their club leader in spite of the intercom? Surely not, right? She was smarter, well versed with the dead .. she knows not to do such a foolish and strong thing, yes? It was hard to tell ..
What happens next is unknown, but one thing led to another .. leaving Keio lifeless in the room, covered in their coffee, with a the face of terror to their face.
THE UNRAVELING THE HORROR
Of course, this looks like it may have been me. But it wasnt me. Why would I send an angry spirit after Keio? Sure they made a ridiculous announcement, framing me as the culprit for their broken coffee machine .. and framing me as some idiot who would anger the spirits—but this is obviously false. I am not stupid. I am not a provoker. If some angry spirit DID attack some coffee machine, which they wouldnt, it must have been due to the fault of some other Journalism member, not me. I respect every paranormal instance and individual I come across, matter of fact, I even speak with some of them. I have quite a well relationship with many. Perhaps if some people, like Keio, was more respectful to such being, they wouldn't have a broken coffee machine. But now Keio is dead and it’s not my fault in any way, shape, or form.Anyway, moving on to actual potential spiritual suspects that is not myself. Perhaps it was Satomi Kato who is pissed that the journalism club leader is allowing people to continue to write articles about her despite her incident being ages ago. You know, by the way, bringing up the past makes it harder for spirits to rest in peace! Perhaps Keio was attacked for letting the Celestiasume write about her and making it so she cannot rest properly!! But hey, thats just a theory, isn’t it? Like any of my theories, its merely a theory of what I think. And what I think is, Keio is a fool to make any sort of accusations as they did, and to allow fellow journalism members, besides myself, write about the dead. Period.
