What is your Minecraft username?: ScrapsRP
Do you have Discord (If so, what is your discord username?): salvagedscraps
What is your time zone?: Eastern Standard Time | USA
Describe your activity on the server: I would say I'm roughly on the server 4-5 hours almost everyday mostly in the afternoon as I usually sleep in the morning but I'm starting to fix that! It's honestly because I enjoy it and have so much fun playing with my friends. There are times I take a break, but then I genuinely miss playing and get back on. I do mostly gangRP and crimeRP but I want to span out and do other things. I'm learning to detailRP and I'm getting better every time I do it. I have roleplayed with sports members but i havent been on a team itself, but getting to roleplay with a little part of everything on the server and getting to know peoples lore and getting to know their characters is such a nice thing, not even mentioning making a character yourself and developing it.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?: yes I understand
School Employee Role you are applying for?: Caretaker
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
The caretaker role does many things, if there is a school fight they usually are the ones to separate them and hand out the detentions, and they can also look over students for injuries, making sure to take the injured to the nurses office, they are the only ones who can check the cameras basically like mini security guards. Caretakers can also stay behind after school to watch over detentions. Cleaning is also something they can do if there's a spill in the lobby they can bring a wet floor sign and clean it up!
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?: I'd say my experience revolves around gang RP (not this character of course) or family rp, getting into fights or spending time with siblings and doing family activities, there are times i have roleplayed with the sports teams but i have not been on a team itself yet. For the year I've played everyone I have been around in SRP so far has been really friendly most of the time, lots of times people will welcome you in with open arms. I really love showing friends who haven't played SRP the server, and being the one to guide them around the town and showing them what to do and what not to do
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?: Besides the role being another way to roleplay, it ties into my character! As he and his brother loves to work with kids- And my character Dusk likes to be around his brother, they do everything together. Well he may be moody sometimes, but he's taking the job because his brother really has a passion for it, and he wants to follow his brothers dreams, plus he gets along with kids just fine. He has worked in a daycare in the past- but that was before he and his brother got to karakura. Besides that I'm usually always just crimerping or gangrping and being in the employee faction would help me branch out.

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
Dusk would immediately want to remind them of the school rules. He wouldn't be fazed by such an attitude but he would question if something deeper is going on they could always drop by the councilors office. "Language like that is against the rules" "If there is a deeper problem then your anger towards me, head to the councilors room. If not, then class is where you should be heading." If the swearing would keep up he would issue them a detention- but as he said he would walk them to the councilor rooms if they actually wanted to talk to someone about a deeper issue going on.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Dusk would stand by and keep his radio out just in case it gets more serious then it is. But as he handles it alone he makes himself known, and that the two should know by now the rules of the school- there is no fighting, and that that's no way to solve anything. "Fighting is one of the bigger nos in this school and as students attending here I think both of you know that. I’ll have to check the camera about this.." He would look over the students for serious injuries. “Anyone that is injured head straight to the nurses” but he would have to warn them about detention if they don't stop and continue to fight.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
He would judge them quickly as it's not a good sign being seen doing something dangerous, that could get the employee and students around them injured. He would speak up and try to get the employee to stop, talking tiredly but stern to try not cause a fight or argument. "You know the rules if you got hired, I don't need to remind you like I would these students, either have this as a warning and stop what you're doing, or I'm forced to tell SLT about this." Knowing in his mind, he would already make a report of the incident. Maybe the report would be the warning in itself for the employee.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
Dusk would act how he acts outside of the employee break room, all be a little quieter and more so keeping to himself as there isn't anymore students he has to keep his eye on. If he speaks up, it's most likely another employee spoke to him first. And in conversation he is still polite, nodding or saying a few words, and god forbid he hears someone swear during working hours, as he would still remind people about the rules, even on breaks. "i think some of the students just need to talk to the councilors, so much violence these past days, i wonder if people are resting enough.." "language. It's still school hours." Though he's usually spotted in the back, holding a cup of black hot coffee.
Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
/me sitting at the desk in the boiler room, Dusk would be lazily checking over the cameras, clicking the mouse as the camera switches to each one throughout the school, making sure students weren't fighting, kids were getting to class, and making sure nothing was out of the ordinary. "hmm, rules, rules.." he would mutter, tapping the desk, the place is quiet- he can enjoy that, but in a school? quiet usually means someone doing something bad.. he just has to find it.
/me He would grumble when a student spilled their lunch tray in the cafeteria, though seeing they slipped he wasn't too mad. He would make sure the student was alright before he shooed them off, and he got to picking up the scattered mess. After throwing the trash away Dusk went to the supply closet to grab a mop and a wet floor sigh, putting it down and mopping the floor up of any spills. "clean.. gotta keep it clean.." After that he would make sure to put that mop back where he got it.
/me Dusk was walking around the school before he heard some screaming. He wandered over to the voices at a fast pace and found two students in a heated argument. He paused before crossing his arms, standing a few steps away from the students. "Ahem, now students, there isn't a rule on screaming but it's impolite to raise your voice at such a level in this environment. Please separate yourselves, and if it's anything serious head over to the lobby where you can talk to a teacher about it" After a few grumbles the students went their separate ways, guess it wasn't important after all, Dusk nods to himself before going back to the lobby to wait in case anyone needs him.

Full Name (First & Last only): Before sitting down Dusk would shake the person’s hand, then he would take his seat, looking at the other before he would start talking “My name is Dusk Oakes, A pleasure meeting you, thank you for having the time for me” He would say, putting his hands in his lap.
Title (Mr, Mrs, Miss): Dusk would pause, scratching his cheek before putting his hand back down, “You may refer to me as Mr. Oakes.” He would look forward, eyes showing off tiredness- and he's not one to smile but his voice is firm and steady.
Preferred Name: He would click his teeth, “Mr. Oakes is what you may call me, I'd refrain from using my first name” He nodded, there was almost a slight warmth to him as he talked.
Age (Minimum is 25): “I am twenty-five years old” He speaks up again, moving his hands, his right hand moving to hold his left elbow and his left hand holds his cheek as he looks at them.
Gender: Dusk would let out a quiet laugh, leaning back and he'd move again, call it nervous, and he’s moved to cross a leg over another and rest his hands over his knee “Im a male” he said with another chuckle- he knows he gets misgendered all the time with his long colored hair.
Academic Degree: “I graduated high school and I have a college masters.” Dusk would answer shortly.
Major(s): Dusk would tap his chin “I took psychology for the four years with my brother.”
Minors: he would wave his hand “I didn't take a minor”
Nationality: Dusk would rub the back of his neck “Im from America, Not has obvious as I perfected my Japanese I would say”
Known Languages: He tapped his knee “I know Japanese and Japanese sign language.”

Dusk was born in the Oakes family from America, in the state of Utah. He was born with his twin brother Dawn, and they were identical twins at that- you could barely tell they kids apart except, well- the hair, Dawn had blonde hair that he got from the mother.. and Dusk had black hair he got from his father, other then that you could also tell based on mood, Dawn was as bright as the sun, and he loves to play and he was a loud kid, Dusk on the other hand was as quiet as the night, and he would be seen being dragged along by his brother to play, though even with polar opposite personalities their father loves the twins all the same.
Dusk was a moody baby, unlike his brother. Their father would find him rather easy to take care of- but he did have concerns when the baby showed no real sign of emotion, still he would take care of both his sons as much as he could- while working, and he worked a lot..
Their father actually owns a daycare and was the manager so you guessed it- that's where the boys spent most of their time, learning and playing with the kids that would be there. “You two don't mind it here right? Think of it as a big playground with new friends everyday” their father would say. At age 10 is when the two would actually start helping the father- not really big helping, but they could help clean the daycare when it was home time, Dawn got really good helping kids feel better when they started crying, Dusk would only really talk when his brother was doing something, or when his dad needed him.
All the time Dawn would be seen with new or old kids that entered the daycare, talking, playing, or just being around them- “We can play with the blocks! Do you want to do that with me? Do you?” Will Dusk again- was somewhere in the back, picking up after everyone, or just laying in the climbing tubes alone. “Clean up.. You know how..”
Dusk never cared about being in the daycare all the time, his tiny brain knew it was his fathers job and he knew they just had to be around, so he'd make the best of it, learning to read from the story time nooks, and even reading to kids for nap time. It was always his “job” to take care of the kids who had night terriers- as his father would usually be on some type of night duty in the back.. He didn't mind, no one really saw him act this kind of way but he'd get to whisper and talk to the sad kid and eventually he'd watch them go back to sleep- this eventually became a cycle, and a poor sleeping habit for him as he would constantly stay up at night.
It wasn't till they were 15 did they actually start working at the daycare part time did they both really find a passion, Dusk really followed this brothers footsteps, and his brother loved helping the kids and watching with them- playing arts n crafts and getting messy. Dusk really enjoyed when it was nap time, and he could put the kids to sleep, the quiet returned which is something he enjoyed. “You boys are doing so well, once I get old you two might have to take over this boring old job” Their father said one day while cleaning, and dusk looked at him with a moody expression “guess we are never leaving huh.” Their father smiles, putting a box down “If you boys decide to take a different job, make a promise to your old man, just one thing. Do something that will help others, you boys are so caring, keep caring for other people, never forget that part of you.” Dawn nearly bursts into tears- but doesn't, instead he hugs their father tightly and promises him- While dusk just stood there, box in hand, before he rolled his eyes- a smile caught on his lips, “yeah.. whatever”.
Working at 15 and working at 10 didn't really change.. Kinda bad right? Just added on to his “chores” and now he can get paid doing what he used to do. He still stayed up at nights- something his father appreciated but his brother worried for, something Dusk didn't care, but felt like he needed to do. He would still stay up at night- and put kids to sleep during nap times, and clean up the place, but he now stays up and checks the daycare cameras for anything suspicious so their father can sleep in the break room- he really is getting older..
18 is when their father died in a worksite accident during construction to the daycare.
It hit like a truck- screams, panic, loud noises, something a weekend shouldn't be having, but on that Saturday morning.. It's all Dusk heard from the break room.. Dusk rushed out of the break room- getting to the back of the daycare where the construction was happening, faster than his brother- but he couldn't even enter the area before the worker quickly pushed the two back, yelling- rushed, some crying, some stunned in shock. “Move out my way!” Dusk demanded, trying to push the worker out his way- but the other man was dead set on the two not seeing the area. “Where's my father??” He yelled, raising his voice which is something he rarely does- making his brother jump beside him.
“You two can't be here!” Someone yelled from in the area “Someone call the cops!” another distant voice “No, call the hospital!” panic set in this one “He's dead- oh god he's crushed-!!” cries could be heard “Someone help me get him out!” a shocked brave voice tried to demand
Nothing could prepare them for those words that could be overheard in the hall. And that day is when Dusk saw his brother cry- not over a kid being mean to him, not over him spraining his wrist. This is the first time he saw his brother truly break down. Dusk couldn't even get his brother out the hallway before he saw Dawn fall to his knees, curling in on himself and a sharp- painful scream was let out from the boy, one of true loss, something he was not ready to hear.
“Dawn we cant- we have to go-” Dusk grabbed his brother's arm, his legs, lifting him off the ground- and he took his brother out of the daycare- adrenaline in his body more than anything, he can't focus on the situation, he has to focus on his brother. And that's what he does, He takes Dawn to the house- driving the beat up van of their fathers, a silent drive besides dawn sobs. Dusk's hands were shaking while holding the steering wheel- his expression showed nothing, that's because he didn't know what to process- he knew one thing, and that his brother needs him right now, so he starts the van, and they head home. But his eyes say it all- he knows his father is gone, gone working on the thing he enjoyed in life, gone and wont come back..
The boys were left on their own to deal with the loss of their father, as it hit harder than their mother- who they never got to know was she passed away during childbirth. Months passed, Years, they couldn't even bring up his name around each other without Dawn sobbing or Dusk going quiet. They both knew what happened, they just couldn't talk about it- for a few months, Dawn’s light was dimmer, and Dusk grew even quieter than he was. Their daycare slowly became less active- before they decided to leave it, and eventually it grew abandoned over the years, left to rot.
At 21 they decided to take on college.
It took a few years but the boys were back to their usual selves as Dusk put it “He wouldn't want us to be sad forever”.Dusk went for a Major in Psychology, and his brother got a Major in Sociology. Getting different part time jobs separated the twins for the first time in college, as Dawn got to being a librarian and Dusk was a security guard for a Theme park. Those years in college the boys didn't see much of each other, but Dawn always made to text or call on breaks, Around this time when they wanted to change their hair to semi match, something they keep till present day “this is a terrible idea Dawn..” but still, Dusk dyed his hair (with help of his brother) a dark blue, having white stripes in them- and Dawn matched him, just with blonde hair and red stripes.School was no issue for Dusk, he did it pretty easily, showed up to classes, he didn't really talk to people besides people he had to pare up for projects, he's usually getting out of classes earlier because he has work later. Doing his Homework either on the way to work or while he's on his breaks.
Juggling school and work was hard, probably the hardest thing Dusk did besides learning Japanese back at the daycare- Dusk didn't hate his work, though he wished he could work a night shift part, but he can't since he's doing school. He still does a good job plus what fun is it to kick out rude people?
“I'm going to have to ask you to leave.. No you cant live stream jumping a carny worker..”
After his work he's always greeted with his brother at the entrance of the park, bright and smiling- or in the car waiting, everyday they walk or drive home together, and that's when they finally get to spend time together, chat about their day, and eat the dinner Dusk prepares for them.
24 is when they both finished college, and decided they wanted a new life, so both of them decided what's a better place than Japan? And enters Karakura, a small city on an island off of Japan. It was Dawn who picked this place to call home as he adores helping people, though he knows his brother likes the isolation part, so he thought it was perfect. Dusk didn't mind Japan as languages weren't a problem, they had people from different places in the daycare all the time so they both had to learn a few languages to help children get around.
The danger of Karakura caught both of them by surprise but that gave Dawn all the more reason to want to help out, Dusk following in his brother's footsteps, just like he did in childhood. They got an apartment with the money they still had from the jobs previously. It was nice for a while, they enjoyed it, Karakura wasn't so bad as the rumors said.
They then had to get to the “fun” part JOB SEARCHING!! Now sadly Karakura doesn't have a daycare, but with the past they have with it, they crossed it off their lists anyways. The death of their father was still in their heads, and they can't return to something so close to him. Both of them decided they want to try to get the same jobs- as college was difficult not being able to see each other. “Matching in hair isn't enough for you? Now you want to match jobs? Dusk looked at his brother who only beamed brightly at him “YES YES it will be the best idea yet brother, father wanted us to stick together, so we are going to do that, aren't we?” Dusk only nodded.. He did miss his father..
Karakura’s Police Department was actually an idea they wanted and they of- Dusk brought it up since he had a security job previously, “its helping people is it not?” but his brother shivers at the idea of him getting hurt.. Yes he wants to help people but.. Maybe not like that. “No- maybe.. Later in life just not that.. Right now brother..” Dawn then brought up the library as something they could both do, Dusk likes the quiet, Dawn likes the reading but- “No.” Dusk used to always read for the kids in the daycare.. If he had to start that up again.. It would just remind him of it.
“Oh hey what about the school!” Dawn pointed out one morning as dusk was making them coffee. Dusk is sorta the cook for the two, you would see him making breakfast, lunch, dinner- snacks anything for him and his brother as he figured it's the least he could do as Dawn does almost their whole schedule. Dusk would look at his brother, raising a brow “You would want to be a teacher? I picture you being more of a nurse..” Dawn shakes his head, sipping on his cup of coffee and then he would speak again “Not that- brother, I mean Being a nurse would be really cool but- ah! I mean we could both be caretakers! It's an employee role that does all kinds of things! Like cleaning! Oh, I love cleaning! And they check cameras- I know you like that! And- and they break up fights and keep the rules from staying in line!”
“You really wanna do it huh? Guess it doesn't sound so bad..” Dusk muttered under his brother, which only made Dawn spring up and hug him, “Father- i know.. He wanted us to still care for others.. And I still want to! Don't you?” The mention of their father made Dusk freeze in the hug, but eventually he would return it, giving his brother a moody sigh “Of course I still want to, lets start the application process then, alright?” That made Dawn jump up in glee, his fist punching the air and his jumps around the kitchen in joy “YES YES!! We will have so much fun- and make new friends!! Oh this will be so so nice!”
The two brothers would sit down at the couch, starting up their shared laptop and they would start to look online to apply for the school. But as Dawn was typing away-m Dusk couldn't help but feel nervous inside, could he do this? He interacted with kids before at the theme park but.. Not at a big scale and it was usually to remind their parents and them of the rules.. How would he be handling students? Only time will tell, he just knows his father wanted him to do this, and his brother wants them both to do this- and his brother believes in him.. So maybe he can believe in himself..
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective): “Dawn, my brother is super excited to join this school and give it his all, and i cant help but find that motivating, everything he does is so motivating sometimes.. I'm reminded I can do these roles too, that I like spending my time in these environments, keeping things in line- keeping things in order.. And I want to be able to look out for people again. My father owned a daycare, he passed away and we moved here. I guess I still want to be close to the line of work.. Reminds me that my father wanted us to do the right thing in life.. He wanted that for me.. For us.”
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?: “I always hated this question personally.. As i wish everyone gets their chance to work if they are trying their hardest.” “But if I had to say, I know I keep saying I'm just doing this for my brother Dawn, and I know a part of me is, but another part of me is its part of my life to care for others, making sure they're okay. This job would be another step in my life to fulfill that. Not just care for the students, but to keep everyone safe, that would extend to my fellow faculty members if given me the chance.”

Additional notes about your application: Here is StarryRP’s APP for Dusk’s brother as I feel it ties into my application a lot. We both play a role in each other's roleplay so that is why i’ll add their application here.
Do you have any questions?: is it okay if Dusk talks in a color with a symbol to it, for an example like this “&#CCCDE6&o ☾ those are the rules.”
