At the age of ten, unable to bear the abuse any longer, Seong gathered his courage and ran away from home. His journey led him to Huangyao, China, where he found himself in the care of a kind-hearted family. Grateful for their compassion, Seong quickly immersed himself in the local culture, eventually learning Mandarin to communicate with his newfound friends and guardians. Three years passed in Huangyao, and Seong's thirst for knowledge continued to grow. He spent his days exploring the vibrant streets of Huangyao, learning about the ancient history and rich traditions of China. He discovered a passion for art and calligraphy, spending hours practicing and perfecting his brush strokes. As his language skills improved, Seong began to write poetry in Mandarin, expressing his emotions and reflections in beautifully crafted verses.
