Sera the Sunbeam

Seraphine grew up in a quiet coastal town with two artistic, spiritually minded parents. Her childhood was filled with ocean walks, craft fairs, and little lessons about mindfulness from her grandmother, Astrid.

Astrid introduced her to herbal teas, natural remedies, crystals, and the idea of “listening to the world.” When Astrid passed away when Sera was twelve, Seraphine withdrew into herself and turned heavily to art, journaling, and creating jewelry as a way to keep her grandmother’s teachings alive.

During a summer art program at fourteen, she sat alone in a glass-walled studio filled with colored light. For the first time since her grandmother’s passing, she felt peaceful. That moment became her personal turning point — she realized she didn’t need to control everything. She could just create, observe, and let life move freely around her.

Now, in high school, she’s known as the “fairy girl” who makes jewelry, grows herbs, and takes dreamy photographs. She’s involved in drama tech crew, photography club, and environmental club.

Despite her gentle reputation, she quietly carries the pressure of living up to her parents’ hopes and her grandmother’s memory. She’s searching for who she is outside of others’ expectations — and where her soft, strange, observant soul fits into the real world.
