Server Trouble

Hello! I just got minecraft bedrock on my gaming laptop and minecraft runs on here well, only problem is, is that whenever I go to servers and scroll down to additional servers, its says "Locating server..." all the time and I had just put in the IP and the server name in yesterday around noon and the port is also the same. I'm unsure on what to do. My username on minecraft is scrrllt and my discord is koji#3517! I'm able to share my screen if needed to on a discord call aswell :)
