Describe your activity:
I am as active as I can on SRP. I spend a lot of my time between all three of my accounts. My free time goes into playing SRP, as it gives me the freedom to play as my characters whenever I choose to. My playtime fluctuates depending on the day, but I am active from when I am awake to the time I go to bed. I always try to be active on Discord, regardless of whether I am online SRP or not. I am able to balance my own personal life and SRP at both simultaneously with free time for other games that aren’t just Minecraft. I have good time management skills, and I am able to differentiate when enough is enough.

What is your motivation to apply for reporter?:
My motivation to apply for the reporter faction stems from a deep passion and love for storytelling and a strong belief in the power of information that I know and gain. I’ve always been driven by my curiosity, which is wanting to understand what’s happening around me and why it matters. I want to help others within SRP stay informed and connected, too. I’m especially drawn to journalism because it gives a voice to the people and issues that might otherwise go unnoticed within the community. Being a reporter means asking the right questions, holding power to account, and shedding light on the everyday and the extraordinary. I’m excited by the challenge and responsibility that comes with the role, and I’m eager to contribute to meaningful, accurate, and timely reporting. In a Minecraft server such as this one, there’s always something new going on, whether it be gang wars, betrayals, gossip within different factions, new builds, economic shifts, or even events within the community. I want to help document and share those stories. I enjoy writing, interviewing players, and highlighting events and/or drama in a fun and engaging way. I aim to keep the player base interested, give them something to look forward to, and help preserve the server’s history through reports, articles, and interviews. I also think it’s a great way to build stronger community bonds and keep everyone in the loop.
Another motivator for me would be more role-play experiences within the SRP community. I love whatever roleplay I am able to do, as well as the fact I am well detailed and versed in detailrp. And I mean ten+ appended messages for one action. I have done so much in the short year of being on this server. Being a reporter would allow for another experience that I would be able to have. I love whatever experience I can get. Whether it is studentRP, facultyRP, KPDrp, parentalRP, or even romanceRP. I have done a lot of it, and I would like to keep adding more to that list. I love this server, and this faction has caught my eye since I have realized what it truly does. I love each report that gets published, and it draws my attention in ways that I never expected. I know that I want to be a part of that; publishing ICLY documents that people actually read. Reporter faction seems so fun, and I have always wanted to join something that has to do with journalism.
Do you have any experience with writing? What is your relationship with writing?
I love to write, as I write every day of my life. I am very familiar with writing, as in my school days, I would take as many writing and creative courses as I possibly could. One of them that stuck with me was journalism and film, and I felt drawn to it. Writing and I have had a good relationship, as I have had a poem of my own published in its very own book. I have been writing for years now, as long as I can remember. Ever since joining SRP, I have been accepted into corporations as a writer, making my way to the head of the writing department in some of them. I will always be a writer, and nothing has changed that within the past few years of my life. I write about all sorts of things: romance, combat and violence, fantasy, and so many more unspoken genres. I have been writing since I was a child, and I don’t plan on stopping there.
Although on SRP for about a year now, I have been writing for many years of my life. Especially since I was a young child. My love for writing stems from my childhood love for books. When I was a child, I had a higher reading level than most, and I would attempt and read many books within a week. I have always been fascinated with literature. I love all different genres of books, and that sprouted a young love for writing. At first, it was journalism in a school notebook, which then evolved into character creation and finding websites and apps where I could play as them. My writing has grown from Roblox, to Amino and Tumblr, to Wattpad, to Ao3, to Discord/TupperRp, to now finding Minecraft servers where I can authentically play as my characters. My main account has ten characters in itself, and I play each one whenever I get the chance. I write every day, whether it is for commission or creatively, I am always typing away at some form of words on my screen.
Are you aware of - and will follow - the set of rules provided to you?
I am very mindful of the rules that have been provided to me. I have read them over and over to make sure everything that I plan to do in this faction follows them and sets a good example. I will follow each rule that has been stated in the application format.
Why should we accept you over others?
I bring a unique mix of creativity, consistency, and genuine interest within the server’s community. I wouldn't just report on events, I'd turn them into engaging stories that players want to read. I’m active, observant, and I keep up with what’s happening across the different factions so I won’t miss the important stuff. I’m also reliable. If I say I’ll get a sry out, I will. What sets me apart is that I’m not just here to fill a role. I want to be in the reporter faction to make the server feel more alive, connected, and memorable for everyone. You should accept my application because I’ve been on both sides of the chaos as a Professor and an officer. I’ve seen the drama, the politics, and the behind-the-scenes action through a firsthand account. I know how things truly go down, and I can report on it with accuracy, spice, without it overstepping the boundaries of each faction. I’ve built many different connections between factions, understand the server culture, and am not afraid to ask questions or chase a lead. I’m not just here to write stories whenever I feel like it; I’m here to tell the stories people want to read.
Do you understand you have to stay completely neutral with reports? (Your report can't have any OOC or IC bias towards a specific group.)
Yes, I understand that completely. None of the reports that I make will have any sort of bias, whether that would be in an IC or OOC manner.
Do you trust that you will be able to stay active and complete the monthly quota?:
I believe I will be! I love writing as a whole, so reports should be relatively easy as I will meet the monthly quota with ease.
Summarise what you imagine work as a reporter is:
Being a reporter sounds exactly as its’ name, to report information that comes along. They are individuals who are always scouting around and looking for the next big story that happens within Karakura. The individuals tasked with this role have many different interests to report on such as; Crime that happens within Karakura, any form of event, or even something as basic as the weather. They are tasked with keeping up with the latest type of news within the community, as they are tasked to journal about it. They have to be meticulous in all the work they do, even if it is just a basic report. Reporters cannot rush the perfection of what is the report that keeps the community up to date with each other.
Reporters do many things ICLY in-game, not just make reports on interesting things that are happening. There are a few that I can specifically pinpoint. One of them would be selling newspapers and attending to your duties at the front desk. Desk duties are meant to attend to the public eye, not just sell people newspapers. Another thing that comes to mind is broadcasts. During the day, ICLY, reporters can send out a broadcast for all of Karakura to see. This entails the weather or a high-interest topic, along with a joke or the song of the day. Forum posts are also a part of the faction. This consists of the normal reports, forum posts based on paranormal or even silly things, such as shitposts or posts that appeal to the public eye. Reporters also host one-on-one interviews with the public to see what is happening that we might not see otherwise.
IC (In-Character) Information:

Full Name:
He graces the interviewer with a warm smile, maintaining eye contact as he speaks with ease. A thicker Italian accent coaxes his words. “My full name would be Vincent Achille.”
Preferred Name/Nickname and Title (e.g., Ms, Mr)
He shifts comfortably in his seat, his blue eyes gentle and fixated. “I prefer Vincent overall, and Mr. would be fine when referring to me.”
Current Age (25+):
He let out a small chuckle, pulling out his ID and flashing it gently in front of his interviewer. “I am twenty-six, and my birthday would be November 16th, 1999.” He was calm, a small breath of air escaping him.
Past job/work experience:
The brunette softly shifts his position within the chair he is sitting in. His mind is alert and sharp, and his hands stay perfectly still. “I’ve had a few jobs that really have shaped how I approach journalism as a whole.” He starts, meeting the interviewer’s calm gaze. “At first, I started to contribute to a local blog in Naples. Smaller stories, community events, and profiles on local artists. Even then, when I was younger, I realized how much one story can truly leave an impact on one community.” He leans forward a bit, voice steady yet still engaged with the conversation.“Later, I interned at an independent newspaper. That’s when I was allowed to chase my own leads, verify facts in a way that was fast and unfamiliar, and deal with the pressure of upcoming deadlines. I was able to pitch real stories, talk to real people, and dig in, not just passively report. And that was something I loved doing.” He offers a small, sincere smile. “And I’ve kept that energy in everything I’ve done since, even when I was running my own blog at one point. Writing, listening, and showing up; That’s what I do best.”
Degree/qualifications:
He leans back in his chair, bringing one of his legs across his thigh. He places his hands neatly folded and intertwined with each other, “I have a master’s degree in investigative journalism with a minor in communications.”
Nationality and born location:
Vincent has a warm, reminiscent look on his face as he remembers his childhood growing up. “I am from Italy, as I was raised in the town of Naples.”
Phone Number:
Vincent bleats for a second, a bit of quietness as he recalls the answer to the question. He seems to answer it with ease and lawlessness. “My phone number is 030-721-2495, simple yet memorable.”
How would you describe yourself in under 150 words?:
The male thinks for a second, his hand reaching up and resting his chin between his thumb and his index. ”I would say that I’m naturally driven and curious, detail-oriented.” He lets out a soothing chuckle as he comes up with more factual information about himself. “I’m the type of person to ask one more question and double-check his facts. I have a sharp eye for stories that matter, with a calm and observant demeanor.” Vincent pauses for a second, taking a break and centering himself in the moment. “I tend to thrive under high-pressure scenarios, and I value accuracy above anything else. I’m passionate about giving this town a voice to be heard, not just chasing headlines.” He pauses again, taking a breath. He wasn’t nervous; he just talked a bit without hesitation. “I’m empathetic and persistent with my work. For my job, it blends my integrity, storytelling, mixed with a dash of boldness.” He chuckles again, now finally finishing his words.
What are you interested in writing about? How will you achieve this, and would you consider going out of your comfort zone?:
He pauses for a second, the questions make him stop and think, a good response that he needs to cook up. He removes the pencil from behind of his ear, placing the eraser tip by his lips. “I believe I'm most interested in writing about the stories that often go unheard by the public eye within this town. The stories about the everyday people, the overlooked issues, the moments of quiet resilience that don’t make the front page but should. I believe journalism should shine a light where others aren’t looking, and that’s what I want to write about.” He pauses again, tapping the pencil softly against his perched lips. Vincent is far from explaining himself. “To make that happen, I do plan to combine very careful and persistent research with real-life conversations. I would get out there, listening to the people, and asking all of the questions that seem to matter. I’m not interested in just surface-level reporting. I want to dig deep and make sure every story I tell is grounded within its own truth and told and handled with a feeling that is more than just care.” He pauses again, a smile escaping his closed lips with the pencil end still tapping away. The last question, the comfort-zone one, really made the brunette think about this response methodically. “I know that means stepping far out of what my comfort zone was, and I know that I’m ready for it. Whether it’s navigating unfamiliar places within this town, tackling sensitive topics that people might not want to see, or pushing past my own personal hesitation, I’m committed. Growth comes from any form of challenge, and I’m here to grow and tell all of the stories that matter.”
What are your expectations for the job?:
Vincent adjusts his posture in the chair, thoughtful, calm, with a sincere tone as he espouses the conversation. “My expectations for the job are rooted in growth itself, not just professionally, but personally as well. I’m not coming in thinking that I know everything. In fact, I expect to be challenged by the pace I get set at, the complexity of stories I get assigned, and the variety of voices I’ll be responsible for representing in our community. I want to be pushed to think harder, write better, and report with even greater depth and responsibility than I have ever done.” He leans in slightly, his hands animated now. “Well, I’m hoping this role allows me to be part of something that I deem meaningful. A newsroom filled with a team that values my curiosity, integrity, and truth above all else. I want to learn from editors who will challenge my angles, colleagues who have different perspectives from mine, and readers who hold me accountable for the words I write. I want to cover stories that matter, the ones that don’t always get attention but should.” He pauses for a quick moment, then adds, “I also expect to work, and I do mean really work. Long hours, tight deadlines, difficult interviews. I’m not just okay with that, I’m ready to take all of it on. I’m not here to coast or chase headlines that might go viral. I’m here to become the kind of journalist that people can trust, which sometimes takes a lot of time, effort, and getting uncomfortable with different situations.” A small, determined smile crosses Vincent's face. “So, in short. I expect to learn a lot, fail sometimes, grow every day, and give everything I’ve got. Because to me, that’s what good reporting is really about.”
Do you have a criminal record? If so, list the crimes below:
A chuckle escaped from him, a bit amused at the comment. “Criminal record? Far from that. You can run a record check under my name, it’ll come up clean.” He graced the interviewer with a warmer smile. “Under here and in Italy, no criminal activity, regardless of my place of residence.”
Fluent Languages (Underline your native):
He chuckles, letting out a small mumble of Italian nothingness. “I am fluent in Italian and Japanese, as I can speak both decently well.”
PROMPTS:

You will have to write two reports about a topic of your choice. Here we can see how pronounced your writing is and how creative you are. Use your own formatting and your own report idea. (If you're found plagiarizing an actual report or another applicant, you will be denied.)
#1 - General report. Report about a topic, informing players about an event or significant issues to Karakura.

#1 - General report. Report about a topic, informing players about an event or significant issues to Karakura.

#2 - Interview. It's important to have well-rounded questions. Create your own interview with ten questions or more. And answer them yourself.
[!] A recorder was placed down neatly next to an open notepad. The two were sitting across from one another, eye contact viable and body language readable. Vincent was dressed neatly for this occasion. He moved his hand to the button of the recorder, turning it on for their interview. Vincent’s leg was folded over the other tightly, as his back was parallel to the back of the chair. He is sitting across from attending psychiatrist, Cinder Schneidewind. [!]
[Achille]
He looks down at the list of questions he prepared, gracing Schneiderwind with a warm smile. He appears calm, collected, and gentle. His accent is thick but understandable. He speaks clearly to the woman, consistently maintaining eye contact.
“Thank you for taking the time to meet with me today! I hope you don't mind that this is going to be recorded. First of all, can I have your name?”
[Schneidewind]
She smiled warmly towards the interviewer, offering her right hand for a firm professional handshake,
“Of course. My name is Cinder Schneidewind, though people just call me Cinder.”

“Of course. My name is Cinder Schneidewind, though people just call me Cinder.”
He brings his left hand up, meeting her own for a formal handshake. "The names Achille, Vincent Achille, and I just have a few questions for you today. Once again, I can't thank you enough for making time in your busy day-to-day schedule." He brings his hand down after a decent amount of time has passed for a plausible handshake. He hums through his words in a gentle, quiet manner. He brings his pencil, which lies promptly behind his ear, up to his lips, pressing it against them. He looks down at his notepad, his gaze quickly focusing back in on the woman across from him.
“And how are you today?”
[Schneidewind]
“I’m great! Things haven’t been too busy for me recently,” she sighed in relief before continuing, “Did you know there’s a word in the hospital that shouldn’t be said? The Q word; quiet..” She gasped as if she had just muttered a curse. Cinder would glance around cautiously before throwing the interviewer some nervous jazz hands, “I wish my coworkers luck.”

He nodded once again, taking a break between his words. He shifted in his chair as he brought the pencil from his lips down to the paper in front of him. A faint sound of his scribbling can be heard as he writes quickly.
“And what’s your job within the hospital?”
[Schneidewind]
The woman slipped her right hand into her pocket, retrieving a small Hospital ID card that she flashed towards the Reporter. She read the contents held upon it aloud, “Attending Psychiatrist, EMS23.” Her expression seemed to illuminate the atmosphere, brimming with achievement. She paused before adding,
“Recently was promoted. Hence the cool Doctor jacket,” she gestured to the white lab-coat like garment.

His eyes light up in awe as he nods and gives the woman a small 'mhm' noise as he listens. "Well, congratulations on your recent promotion." His smile becomes warmer as he allows for a small chuckle to escape him. "That is impressive on how you got there!" He pauses again as he gets back on track with his interview. “Right, continuing on, how do you believe your role within the hospital helps the general public?”
[Schneidewind]
She paused to choose her words carefully, soon parting her supple lips to speak in a charismatic tone, “Well, Psychiatrists aim to help the community with any mental struggles or physical related illnesses due to mental health.” Cinder then clasped her chin between her index finger and thumb in deep thought,
“Mental health is already a struggle, but having no one to rely on may negatively impact a person. We can provide them with coping strategies, personal realization, diagnosis, and various other the****utic techniques to make life just a little bit easier for them. We can even just be someone to lend an ear to.”

The sound of his pencil can be heard gently tapping the eraser on the warm-toned page of the notepad. He jotted down the basics of what she had said, while nodding and listening to each word she had said. "It sounds like you do a lot for this community, and you seem to care! With the care for the community you are employed within, how long have you worked in the hospital?"
[Schneidewind]
“I’ve worked at this establishment for around a year… couple days off the exact mark but we’ll say a year,”
She rested her hands on her hips confidently.

She rested her hands on her hips confidently.
He maintained his eye contact, staying engaged with what she had said. "A year? Once again, that is very impressive, Miss Schneidewind." He allows himself to blurt out another small chuckle, his grin just as warm as it was at the beginning. “What is your opinion about the complaints about the wait time within the hospital?”
[Schneidewind]
Cinder hummed, “I understand the concern, especially when dealing with the injured. However, I’d like the community to understand that we try our best. We can only do as much as our hands allow,” her expression curved into a subtle frown while she added in a hushed tone; “Even if we’d like to do more.”

He offers an insightful look, listening to every word and jotting down important facts to know. He's interested and intrigued as he quirks a brow at the woman. His pupils dart down to the page, overlooking the next question written down. “What’s the current staffing situation at the Karakura Hospital? Are there enough people to meet demand?”
[Schneidewind]
Her expression appeared to lighten up at the mention of her colleagues, the woman parting her lips to speak, “Currently we’ve welcomed seven new trainees, six Doctors and one Psychiatrist to our wonderful team. They are undergoing training as we speak so we ask for the community’s patience in that regard.” She paused to make way for another extension of the conversation, not desiring to overwhelm the interviewer, “We have dropped in members recently, however in prior times we would do our best to cover as much basis as we could. Especially when that one storm hit Karakura. Many individuals came in with burns, and all our staff came in with hands on deck,” she chuckled before finalizing, “The same spirit is kept. We have enough to meet demand, especially with the new trainees that will soon dive into work.”

Achille continues to offer his warm greeting and facial expressions. He writes quickly, while looking up as she finishes her words. “Do you believe you get paid a fair wage for the work that you do?”
[Schneidewind]
“The simple answer to this is yes. I get paid well for working around the hospital and doing what I love,” she flashed him a small smile.

His left eyebrow gets quirked, as he’s intrigued about her view of the situation of what he has been told by the public. He writes fast and neatly, looking between his interviewee and the page faced flat on the desk. “What are the biggest day-to-day challenges for the hospital staff?”
[Schneidewind]
She took a moment to ponder, a brief silence passing over the two before she parted her pierced supple lips to speak, “There isn’t really a consistent challenge I’d say. Although, logging all the paperwork from patients can be a lot,” she sighed, “Even the procedures themselves might take a while. However, I think a challenge of the hospital is understanding and witnessing the physical and-or emotional distress of the patients. Hard to handle when you need to recognize things take time, and we can only help to a certain degree.”

“Despite the concerns, many residents praise the compassion and professionalism of the staff. How do you maintain that standard under pressure?”
Achille leaned forward slightly, resting his forearms against the table's edge as his pencil hovered above his notepad. His eyes stayed fixed on Schneidewind, attentive and calm, as though coaxing her to expand on his question.
[Schneidewind]
She hummed in thought, “Well the seriousness of the environment makes it easier to maintain composure in my personal opinion,” she brought her right hand up to rub the back of her neck casually, “Our staff also enjoy treating people, and entered the job knowing what they’d be in for. It’s no shocker that they put care into all their work. We can also rely on each other when things get hard,” she smiled.

He nodded along with her words, absently tapping the side of his pencil against his notepad. “Do you feel like the level of care being given is rushed at times due to the workload?” His tone remained steady, but his brow knitted slightly, as though genuinely weighing the possible answer.
[Schneidewind]
“In an environment like the hospital, rushing care can result in drastic measures. That’s why it is important to be as meticulous as you can in medical care,” she shook her head, “Every member is expected to provide the best care possible. That means no rushing, no matter the workload present. Rushing is what makes things dangerous for not just the patient, but ourselves as well.”

He shifted in his seat, uncrossing and then recrossing his other leg, the faint creak of the chair marking his very movement. “If you could improve one thing about the hospital right now, what would it be?” His gaze slightly softened, signaling that this question was less about critique and more about his honest and genuine curiosity.
[Schneidewind]
She sniffled dramatically, “I’d bring back referrals. We recently got rid of them, making each appointment a walk-in instead of planned ahead.” She frowned, though comically so, “Having referrals made it easier for me to segway into the issue without asking directly, least in my line of work. I could also take a look at any prior session notes they had with another psychiatrist,” she huffed as she returned her features to normal, “Now it’s a bit more difficult.”

He tilted his head slightly, letting a slight, understanding curve his lips into a smile. The tip of his pencil pressed gently into the page, ready for his closing note. “And one final question for you today, Miss Schneidewind.” Achille paused, waiting for a slight nod from Schneidewind before continuing. He sat back in his chair, shoulders easing, and the faintest warmth coaxed his voice. “How can the community better support you and your colleagues?”
[Schneidewind]
Her supple lips curved into a warm smile, “Give us the time and respect you’d like reciprocated. We’re only looking out for you and your health the best we can,” she nods in agreement to her own statement, “That and bring some food or ingredients to cook. Special request from your local hospital snack distributor; Cinder,” she stifled a small laugh as she shot finger guns at the Reporter.
