˚୨୧⋆｡˚ ⋆ 'Yona-Yona!' is a Gifts & Cosmetics shop centered around cosplay culture. We sell accessories related to a fictional character or matching jewelry sets and other cosmetics. Hired cosplayers and models roam the store and showcase our collection of high-end luxurious items paired with our exclusive cosplay material. Every now and then, the 'Yona!' will attend an opening making it a special occasion as she leads performances, hosts events, and takes suggestions on new Cosplay material that may enter the shelves at our store!
Location: Directly next to the Train Station in the Shopping District.
✧˚ · . Mangaka, meaning manga artist, involves drawing and storytelling through illustrations that often highlight exaggerated facial expressions, body language, and detailed backgrounds. 'Yona-Yona!' will publish a player-written manga and sell it to various customers during opening shifts. The job, however, can be considered one of the few income sources generated outside of a shop's opening. Employees in this field may participate during openings - to sell manga, interact with customers, and gather feedback on published pieces.
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ How does it work?
The process of creating what we will consider 'manga' is very similar to writing on a regular book & quill! However, some nuances set storybooks apart from our manga - the formatting:
1. The first page will ALWAYS be stylized in text-symbol art similar to the examples below. You may create your own OR use the 'Yona-Yona!' default page cover.
2. All pages MUST have this border.
3. Finally, each page must contain manga panels that either separate 'art' (characterized by [!]) and dialogue OR they may contain both (no need for [!]) Here's an example:
-- It's detailRP but in a book & quill! The formatting squeezes the available space on a page, hence it can be a challenge to go into extreme detail. The goal? An easy-to-digest piece of writing that entertainingly offers a totally different style from other written stories; a manga! (Just without the actual art, heh.)
