What are your current roles on the server?:
I have two accounts for srp and only one of which is ever really used, the first being SilasIsWinning, the second being SilasThe2nd. On SilasIsWinning I have 13 character slots (yes, I know that's a lot.) only two of which are animals and all the other characters are Grade 12. On SilasThe2nd I have two Grade 8s, one of which is the one I'd like to have as the teacher.

Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers are important to SRP for many reasons. The first one being that they serve as authority figures and as the embodiment of learning, they guide students throughout the school day, education is a necessary part of the roleplay experience. Furthermore, teachers speak out on behalf of the higher ups as well as deliver on the orders that they give out to the students, making sure that they follow the guidelines of the school. They make SRP more realistic and are necessary as otherwise there wouldn't be any school within the schoolrp based server. Having a real-life person playing the teacher imitates what a real school would be like. Teachers also provide the essential support to students emotionally and academically, hosting games that can help the students understand what they are learning about. Finally, they are important to the school and to the server because they have the ability to organize events within the school and be part of them, hosting extracurricular activities and allowing the server to be more joyful.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?: Yes

What's your character's full name?: Higuruma Kiramochi
What is your character's nationality?: Japanese
What is your preferred subject to teach?: Performaing Arts (Drama)

Describe your character:
Before you stands Higuruma Kiramochi, the man smells lightly of cedarwood and vanilla, he stands at a height of 5'10 and weighs around 162lbs. He walks with a slight limp and with a cane due to an injury he received earlier in his life. He can often be seen brushing his long dark blue hair out of his green eyes, he dresses casually as well as fancy depending on the day and his mood, in the future he plans to settle down with a nice person and maybe have or adopt some children.

What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
Higuruma looks at each of his students with pride, seeing the capability to become a star within each of them. He takes his job seriously, but he also tries his best to maintain a calm atmosphere and strives to give his students both a good education and a good school experience. He aims to allow his students to collaborate and have fun while also maintaining a professional air. He respects his students and expects their respect in turn.

As for his coworkers, Higuruma gives them his utmost respect as they are not only his colleagues but also his superiors; they've been around longer, and he admires each of them. He's always willing to help, and like with his students, he tries to maintain a calm environment. He hopes to bring a little more joy to the school as well as Karakura.

What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
In Higuruma's younger years he dreamed of being known, of having the limelight but he accepted he'd never attain it, simply due to the fact that he had such a busy home life. His father left when he was young and he had to help his mother take care of his little brother; he worked part time as well as various side jobs in order to help pay bills. Acting in anything is best for those that can be there early and stay late, Higuruma couldn't do either of these things. So he excelled in class, but he never auditioned. Eventually his drama teacher noticed and made accommodations for the young Higuruma, eventually he started acting in his 20s but then he was gravely injured and now he teaches, he teaches because he wants to see the next generation, the passion, he wants to help his students like his teacher helped him.
Roleplay Scenarios

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
He would look at the student in an attempt to observe where the break down was. Then he'd break down the content of the material into simpler terms for the class so as to not embarrass the student. If that didn't work, then he'd do a group activity to help the student grasp the content. If the student still didn't seem to understand then he'd finish the lesson, and after class he'd ask the student if he wanted to go over the work together, he'd walk through the content with the student, one on one, using examples that made sense to the student.

A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
At first, he would just glance at the student, his calm and relaxed nature would be put into stark contrast to this silent stare. If that didn't work (it wouldn't) then he'd give the student a task "Great now give me that same energy and deliver us a monologue." If the student refused, then he'd give them one warning and if that didn't work then he would simply remove the student from his class.

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
The first interactive class idea would be a fun game in which Higuruma would assign each student a number between 1 and 10; the game would still work with more than 10 people; there'd just be copies of each number. The numbers would match a status level, such as 1 being invisible and 10 being the status of a royal. The students only know THEIR numbers; they don't know any other students' numbers. They'd all walk around the room until eventually Higuruma would point at two students and call for them to freeze and perform a short scene as their numbers, while all the other students attempt to guess what numbers they are.

The point of this game is to train presence, power dynamics, body language, and improvisation.

The second activity would be essentially a game of classic improv. The students would be divided into groups and would be put up on the stage while the rest of the class watches. Higuruma would give the group on stage a prompt to follow, and at any point, a student from the audience may add to the prompt. Higuruma also has the ability to call out "CHANGE!" at any point, forcing the group on stage to change anything they may have said.

The point of this game is to train improv and presence, but also to train teamwork. It's also just a fun game.
