Since faculty can only assign detention before 3:00 PM IC time, a lot of players find OOC means to avoid IC detention, and exploit it:
- Purposely waiting until right before school's about to end to break school rules, so there is no time to RP out giving detention.
- Purposely delaying their arrival after being called for on the intercom, so that it's past 3:00 PM by the time they get there.
- Feigning connection issues right when detention is about to be handed.

Faculty roles should have until 3:30 PM (roughly 7 more OOC minutes) to give detention to avoid awkward situations where the command deadline ends before the RP interaction does.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
Helps reduce AvoidRP/FailRP, and prevents the awkwardness of the detention-handing deadline occuring before the RP interaction finishes.

Makes sense, when I was in school, you could receive a detention at any time as long as you were on the school grounds o.o

fun fact, Faculty CAN give detentions past 3pm(15:00) if the situation is bad enough or it was ongoing when school was still in session. It is all depends on the situation and who is handling said situation, most of the time faculty doesn't want to deal with it past 3pm as Teachers/Professors officially get off the clock at this time.

It does work, but rules are fuzzy. Some people say nothing past 3pm, while others say yes as long as the incident happened before then.
