Out-Of-Character Information
What is your Minecraft username?:
-> Sneakiness9
Do you have Discord (If so, what is your discord username?):
-> Sneakiness9
What is your time zone?:
-> EST
Describe your activity on the server:
-> I am frequently active, as at the moment I don't have a job or sport OOCly to occupy my life. This will change in a month, but I'll still be on plenty for quota and more. I've also played SRP for over 3 years, accumulating over 9 weeks of playtime, and only taking breaks when an OCCly sport or job takes over my life.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
-> Yes, I understand. I would do the same if someone were inactive under me.
School Employee Role you are applying for?:
-> Tutor
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
-> The role of a great tutor isn't just to assist struggling students or aid teachers in need of help around the classroom, but to be adaptable and strong-willed. Students might come up to a tutor asking complex questions about a multitude of different subjects, so a solid tutor has to be knowledgeable and trustworthy in every subject. This is also true for any faculty, but a tutor also has to realize that they aren't incapable of handing out punishments; students are always bound to cause some kind of ruckus, which can lead to mental or bodily injury amongst the involved students. Overall, a tutor isn't just a guide and pillar students can lean on, but rather they are subjugated to keeping uninterested or mentally inept children in school and on the right path to graduation.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
-> I have done the normal high school roleplaying experience, but I mainly focused on GangRP and CriminalRP. I have also dived into AnimalRP as a dog tag, but I want to broaden my horizons with Faculty.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
-> I've been playing SchoolRP for years now, on and off with GangRP and regular SchoolRP, and lately I've been wanting to expand my horizons and play an adult tag to gain the experience of having a job. I wanted to have a character make a steady income for myself, while getting the chance to join a faction for the first time.

Situations
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
-> As Aleksei, I'd calmly tell them to NOT curse on school grounds, as it is against policy, while also having them apologize to me. If they were to run off after cussing, I'd either A, call them back over to me and make them apologize, or B, take note of their name and make an announcement to meet me at the front desk, or there will be a punishment issued.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
-> I'd first assess the situation, demanding both parties stop at once and ask what the issue might be. If they refuse to listen, I will personally intervene by putting myself between the two students. This will ensure they take their focus off each other and only on me, who is trying to defuse the situation. After they stop fighting, I would then get an immediate answer out of both of them before handing them detention slips for fighting on school grounds.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
-> I'd treat them like the adult they are and warn them to stop before anything rash happens to them. They became faculty knowing the rules and expectations they were given, so if they are not abiding by that commitment, I will personally report them to higher faculty. All faculty members are meant to set an example to the younger generation below them, so if a co-worker of mine decides to act inappropriately in front of anyone, I will not sit idly by and watch as they purposefully break school rules.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
-> My character would not want to waste time on the job. He's hardworking, so when it comes to the break room, he only grabs a cup of coffee or eats his lunch before immediately heading back to work. Sure, he will always have fun talking with his co-workers any day of the week within the break room, but the break room isn't meant for lounging about; it's for taking a breather so you can finish the rest of your job effectively.
Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
/me He'd stand to the side of the adjacent student sitting at the desk. He'd peer over the kid's shoulder and examine their work, reading each line diligently. He'd notice simple errors here and there across the paper, but would wait until he had finished reading over the child's work. He kept up his usual poker face facade so as not to frighten the struggling student. When the time came, he'd point to the first mathematical error on the paper. &o"This equation is wrong, but why?" &rHe'd avert his eyes from the paper and back to the child. He'd examine the child's confused expression and then point at the &o'x' &rvariable on his paper. &o"You cubed it by accident. The first 'x' variable must be squared in a binomial equation, not cubed."
/me The tutoring room grew quiet; the only sound that could be heard was the student's pencil scribbling away at a paragraph they were told to write down. Aleksei would pull up a chair opposite the student, on the other side of the table. He'd squat down on the backwards chair, wrapping his arms around the backrest. He'd lean forward and observe the paragraph the student had written out. He glanced down at the paper, using his index finger to trace the lines, following each word, one after another. Once he had finished reading the paragraph, he'd glance up at the troubled student. &o"Don't fret. This is a well-written introduction paragraph. The hook was enticing, and you followed MLA format, but you did have grammatical errors. ." &rHe'd use his index finger once again, pointing at a specific spot in the paragraph.
/me As he'd walked around the room, keeping his gaze roaming to find students in need of help, he'd stumble across a student raising their hand. The teacher was distracted by a couple of students pestering them with questions. So Aleksei would commit to his job, lean in, and check up on the troubled student. After listening to the student's question about Alexander the Great's death, he'd take a moment to ponder before answering. He'd keep it simple so as not to confuse the student any further. &o"Well. . Though many believe he died a warrior, that simply isn't true. Alexander the Great actually died due to natural disease, like an illness or a hefty fever." &rHe'd return to formal posture, giving the student a gentle smile.

Gender: Male
Academic Degree: A Bachelor's in Education
Major(s): Mathematics and English
Minors: Educational Psychology and Japanese
Nationality: Russian
Known Languages: Russian, Japanese, and English
Backstory
-> Aleksei Morozov was born in 1997, a 29-year-old man from Moscow, Russia. Aleksei’s early life mainly consisted of sports and studying. He’d occasionally like to party here and there, but due to his family’s strict habits, he was forced to stay at home and study alongside his older brother, Itsuomi, only going out to play extracurricular activities like sports. His brother, Itsuomi, was only 2 years older than him. They were extremely close growing up, as they did EVERYTHING together, but that still didn’t stop them from having the occasional sibling fight or banter.
Aleksei went into his freshman year of college, attending Lomonosov Moscow State University, which was one of the most prestigious schools in all of Russia. He decided to pursue a Degree in Education, majoring in Mathematics and English, while also minoring in Psychology and Japanese, following his brother’s footsteps as an educator. The reason behind his decision to pursue a degree in education was the fact that he wanted to graduate and become a teacher. At first, he only planned to teach in Mother Russia, but this would soon change after choosing a minor in Japanese. Because you see, Aleksei, for as long as he’s lived, has adored Japanese culture and its people. Growing up with an older brother who had a Japanese first name, he was around Japanese culture since birth. But what really caught his eye was the beauty of Japan, the cherry blossoms, the mountains, and the cities. So throughout college, he’d study rigorously, only taking time off to play volleyball with the Lomonosov team or spend time with friends. He’d rarely like to waste time. After a college class would end, he’d go back to his dorm to rewrite his notes and spend even more time reviewing them for a couple of hours. Four years had flown by; his brother had graduated years prior, and Aleksei was finally ready for it to be his turn to leave schooling and walk out into the real world. Graduation day would come; he’d walk out onto the stage as the speakers spoke his name across the convention center. He’d wave and accept his degree, ready for whatever’s next in life.
Aleksei would move to Japan with his brother, buying their apartments, as they prepared themselves to find a job and start a new life for themselves. Considering Karakura High School and College was the only school around. Aleksei wouldn’t waste a second and applied alongside his brother to become tutors. Neither ever really wanted to control a classroom, but they both still wanted to help young ones grow, so becoming a tutor seemed like the best option for the two of them. Both he and his brother, Itsuomi, finally applied to become the new Tutors of Karakura. Aleksei was excited for this new adventure to pursue, as he hoped he would get the job.
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
-> Aleksei has always been fascinated by Japanese culture and education. So when moving to Karakura, he immediately wanted to apply to become a tutor for the younger generation. He's always had a soft spot for helping younger kids grow, as he wants them to become something greater than him. He wants them to succeed in life, not just get by on a whim. So, Karakura being the only school around, he applied with no hesitation, ready to start a new journey for himself.
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
-> Aleksei considers himself to be intelligent. In reality, he wants to become something greater, but was just too afraid of disappointing the ones around him. So he decided to keep himself grounded and stick to something he knows he's phenomenal at, which is teaching others. Unlike many other tutors who have to look something up to help a student or just send them away to the actual teacher for help, Aleksei doesn't need to do either of those things, as he's gone to school for this. Aleksei is very well equipped to handle a one-on-one scenario with a student who might be falling behind the others in their class.
