Describe your activity on the server:
What if I said I DON’T PLAY! Just kidding, I am pretty active, or so I would like to think I am. It has differed from previous applications that stated my activity, I would now rate my activity a 7 to 8 scale out of 10. It really depends on the day, how I am feeling in that week and just in general what to do. I am perfectly active with the current faction I focus most on, which is the cheer team, almost always caught on my cheerleader tag. I as well am seen on many other characters and tags I have, here and there on my BMD tag when I can get that interaction and on my entity tag whenever I play for events. You know, the usual bheom stuff. I would say I have a good reputation with my activity, mainly talking in OOC with other people or even within the servers. – I am often online around after school hours, staying online whether it being me actually doing stuff or just being online and flying in god knows where for about 5-8 hours. Again, it really differs and depends on the day, sometimes you’ll catch me longer than that time if I’m really locked in. But, besides that yap fest of my free time usage, I am pretty active, I’d like to think as such.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
I am fully aware of this and acknowledge this rule, would not want to hold on a spot.

✦ ﹐ Shop Information
What shop are you applying for?:
I am applying for Soleil Kumo, running a restaurant.
Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:
I will say this once more, just as my application from years back, it has always interested me. You might be like, hey, everyone says that! But, I cannot deny that. As someone who would apply consistently to shops, irking to become a worker from when I had just started to even now being a mere supporter (a little to a lot of supporting, cough, my wallet) – it always has my heart and interest. Something in this server you don’t exactly see much of the behind to, but the exteriority of it. I find that being a shopkeeper gives a vast amount of interactions, who am I to not say I am in it for the interactions? Roleplay is roleplay, I would not dare miss the opportunity to do so. Though, my main reason is a bit of that but flipped around, you give opportunity to people with shops just by hiring someone– you give them that benefit of gaining money at a start of their SRP playing, you give them the opportunity to roleplay and interact with people they have not met once. It also gives them so much experience for them with other factions, I find it such a helpful thing.
Must I say, I also just really love the shopping district. The amount of diversity to builds, to shops, to the items they sell and how they display it all; it’s entirely intriguing and makes me curious what else could be added. The shopkeeper role makes me more enticed since it’s not only such a rare role but a big responsibility, who wouldn’t want to try that? I have my words the same as anyone else could word it, it is an interesting faction, something you can really delve your creativity into and kind of share it out there. And, do not get me wrong, the payment sounds wonderful– but I am merely here applying for the faction itself, duh.
As shopkeeper has been something on mind for the years I have been on this server and of course the spending on it and what not, I also just believe that it’d be nice to see more different shops be shown in SRP. Most tend to ask for an opening, many do wish for more to pop up and just open their doors or even ask for a job. I yearn for that interaction, I yearn to fufill those needs. I am in it for the curiosity towards the faction, something new, something different. A different responsibility, a more open environment and way to interact with people. I yearn for something different everyday, I yearn to put my effort into something. Shopkeeper seems just the perfect fit.
What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?:
[NAME CHANGE]
Soleil Kumo → Tambayan Shokudō
Meaning of ‘Tambayan Shokudō,’ the words originating from both Tagalog and Japanese. ‘Tambayan’ translating from Tagalog; meaning hang out spot- so something chill. ‘Shokudō’ translating from Japanese; meaning casual eating or dinner.
[TAMBAYAN SHOKUDO]
Tambayan Shokudō is a multicultural restaurant, from exterior being what it looks like a train of sorts– to the inside being fully culture based; all around the world inspired. Similar to the night markets in many countries, where specific culture foods are sold; Tambayan Shokudō is basically that but all at once like a ball and sitting in one area in Karakura. A night market inspired restaurant where foods from all around the world will be served, from appetizers, snacks, main courses to even desserts. – The shop owned by a Filipino-American woman, inspired by the tastes she acquired in New York; the city of diversity, taking that thrive into Karakura– a city full of many cultures and people from all around the world. As the name itself means ‘hang out spot,’ my intentions are to make this something that opens often, a place people would go for the sakes of hanging with their teammates or their coworkers in their faction. A place just like a night market, opening solely at night to midnight.
[BEHIND]
I might have been hungry when I was making this application, I’ll be honest. Though, the reason I had this idea was because I wanted something out there! Something different, something diverse, something that just screams itself. As every restaurant and food based thing in Karakura is basically all different, what if I wanted to make something absolutely different and mixed of all the above? Stay with me now, thought process. Wouldn’t you want to try different foods from other countries? Do you ever see something online and you’re like, oh my gawd, I wanna try that! I feel like it’d be different and nice to just have that diversity and curiosity placed into a restaurant, something with a little bit of everything. Sugar and spice and everything nice, ya’know!? Though, I do wish to add that I also had the intentions of applying and creating such a vast idea because I (was hungry) know that people tend to irk for a restaurant open. Almost any and all the romance based roleplayers on here or even the ones who want more team bonding wish for a place to just yap and spend like . . ¥90,000 on food for the fun of it. I do that! I wanted to make this restaurant something out there and out of the blue too, just how night markets are, out of the blue and just full of foods you can’t help but wanna try.
[UNIQUE-NESS]
Does it not speak loud enough? I yearn to have foods from all around the world, from here in Karakura– dango! . . To like, beans on toast from the British! I do not know if that is an actually appetizing thing for the SRPians but, hey, food. I intend to make this something that only opens at night, as it is in its name, a night market. Similar to a flash event where it’s just out of the blue, or like the club openings– only at a certain time for so long.
Tambayan Shokudō would have such a shape of an exterior, is it a train? A plane? It’d be a ticket to a whole new world of many parts of the world. Unlike the traditional restaurants; the tea place, the cafe solely for baked goods, a shop full of sweets and candies, and even the previous restaurants like that hibachi one from a while back– it’d be a mix of everything and anything. A rotating selection of just culture foods, from there and over yonder. It’d be like taking a small trip around the entire globe just to get a taste and bite of each thing.
As I have Tambayan Shokudō intended to only open during the night, it’d be such a perfect place to just chit-chat with your team or like have some cute little romance moment in there, or just to get food (#getthatplate)! I want it to be that spot that people expect to be open, a place people can just interact freely and just talk and talk. Interactions upon interactions, a table (inventory) full of just foods, that’s what I want. (I also want food!)
[EVENTS; OF COURSE!]
How could I ever forget events? I am literally a part of the event team, how could I ever leave these out! I feel though, events would come in mind as time comes, these are just mere examples; not stuff I’d say is set in stone if it were to be accepted. You also may be wondering, what the heck can a restaurant do compared to regular shops? How do you do events when tables are everywhere? YOU WORK AROUND IT!
▸ BAND NIGHT!
▹ What better than just a hang out spot? Who doesn’t love music while they’re hanging and chilling? There would be an event made for just bands specifically reached out to, just to perform while the opening happens. You know how some bars have a live singer? Why not a live concert just happening right before your eyes? Though, of course, Soraya would run a strict program here. KEEP IT CHILL! There would be a specific genre picked, band night would happen at least once a month, so example: March is for RnB, April is for Jazz, May is for lalalaa.. So on and so forth.
▸ SORAYA-CHAN.. HAII!... NANI GASUKII…
▹ An owner with a unique taste palette, so hear me out. This event would happen every two weeks within the month of opening; where the menu drastically changes in a way, a special menu.. Where that one week is suddenly /only/ spicy foods from all places, who can hold their spice the best?! There’d be an obvious competition for each week that occurs, how much could one take, food eating contest type of thing. There’d be another week where it’s suddenly just desserts from all around the world, sweet toothed characters dreams.
▸ CULTURE WEEK
▹ Unsure how I’d actually make this work, but maybe just for the workers for their funsake, employees would be dressed up in something of their culture or respectively appreciating anothers cultures clothing. It would also encourage other people to wear stuff like that for openings, or even have it announced in the shop discord for the sakes of it happening. To those who see it, see it!
What will you sell in your restaurant?:
Lowkenuinely, everything and anything! Though, of course as previously stated a few times, I intend for the menu to be a vast amount of foods just from everywhere. I intend to get a custom at least twice a month just for the shop to add a new addition to it from somewhere around the world. Kind of like some surprise gift box, ooohhh new food!
I would have a hell ton of a variety of things, from mix of desserts from Japan and France, to appetizers like your regular American type of thing, mozzerella sticks and a dream!? To the grand thing, the main course, from places like South Korea all the way to Italy! Snacks and little treats from Mexico and Thailand, drinks from India to Vietnam, literally all around the cube globe. Get it? Minecraft? Cube? O-K.
How many employees do you plan to have and what are their duties?:
I feel like 20 to 23 is a reasonable amount of staff, minus the two higher up positions: owner and co-owner. Typically shops range from 15 to 20 spots in their things, kind of similar to having my own little gang that doesn’t actually do gang stuff, ya’know? The roster would consist of people who would do waiter/waitress duties, so serve both literally and #serve, as well as people who would generally do more interaction roleplay with people in the shop. There’d be a select few, changing per opening on who will be full on roleplaying out (out of their own voluntary sake) making certain foods in one of the more open areas of the restaurant. Those who serve (#serve) would obviously wait tables, they would hand the pretty menu over and let their specific table pick out their yums and all that, fulfilling that task yada-yada! Co-owner role would obviously be the one who helps me run the shop personally, if I am ever away, they can take the second hand responsibility to take over while I am gone, orrrr.. They will help me with anything else in regards of applications, figuring out how something works, etc.
What would the exterior look like?:
This is where I shall cook (you’re insane if you think I’d try to build this) – BUT STAY WITH ME NOW! Hear me out, a train. Okay, actually though, hear me out- think of this picture. A train like exterior, considering the current build of Soleil Kumo is around two to three stories ish, it is tall, so you’re probably like.. Hey, what do you mean a train? Think of it as those bodegas under apartment complexes, but think of it as a train cart like the one from Spirited Away with a building just morphed in and combined on the top!
What would the interior look like?:
Think of booths being like train platforms, the overall scenery of the interiority would be warm, that comfy-cozy vibe you feel when you waddle yourself into a cute cafe. But, this isn’t a cafe, it’s a whole feast! The booths would be like platform numbered, tables would be scattered around from 2s to 4s to even 6 seater tables. There would be a few little spots where it just showed itself to be a hang out spot, where it was clear you could really just order something like a whole meal or even a snack and just sit n’ relax. There’d be hanging lanterns, banners all over like it were some night market after all, taking the beauty of street food halls and what not. There would be a board just a faaat map, because well, think we went over this! The restaurant is basically all around the world, silly! The overall vibe is just these hashtags.. #train #chill #comfy #lounge #food #worldwide.
How would the menu look like and work?:
The menus would specifically be like some passport, would likely get some sort of custom for it if I can to where it would display as some leather-y book with Tambayan Shokudō’s logo like it was some fat stamp in gold. – But speaking of the actual menu, this is what it’d somewhat be like, a sample if you will..

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Full Name of the Shopkeeper:
Soraya Velasco
Age: 26
Gender and Pronouns: Female, she/her
Ethnicity: Blasian (Filipino and African-American)
Based in: New York, America
Who and Why?:
A woman of style, a woman of class, oh she know she’s tea. You know what she brings to the table? Lipgloss and a dream. Soraya, owner of Tambayan Shokudō, an inspired New Yorkian who found herself intrigued by Karakura’s familiar beauty. You wanna know what she looks like? Absolutely gorgeous, stunning, all the above you can get those adjectives and they’d define her. But, why focus on what she looks like or where she’s from? Let’s focus on the lioness’ mindset and how she is, why she chose Tambayan Shokudō. Velasco was always one to focus on the beauty in arts, the beauty in fashion, the diversity in how clothes worked– but, here you’d think she should have became an owner for an accessory store . . Right!? BUT NOOO! Something she found more interesting was food, something all cultures share is the fact they have a soul food that resonates to their culture, a food that is founded from them and known for such. Soraya was honestly someone who found herself spending more money on a bill at a restaurant in New York compared to the amount she would spend in some clothes store. Her life consisting around tasting foods, trying new things, trying so many things out of curiosity to where she had flown out to many places /just/ for the food. The meaning, the reason, the taste, the how, the why– all the above. All for food. A mindset she had, a specific phrase: “Through food, we share history. Food tells the story of where we come from- food is the bridge between cultures despite the many differences in their tastes.” Gosh, she live laugh loved food so much, it was likely something she’d have on her Onrain bio forever.
