I’m online every day from around 3PM to midnight, as chronic as that sounds. I'm most active in the evenings, but I am especially active during the weekends due to extensive free time. I can easily dedicate time to the server despite my OOC chores, and I usually stay consistent with my activity because I manage both a sports character on my main account and a councillor on my alternate one. I am a student, but that role alone hasn't interfered with my commitment to this server for long. In fact, I am very close to my summer break.

What shop are you applying for?:
I am applying for Ryuketsu, or the restaurant slot that is open to be reinvented. For this shop, I would like to call it "Soleil Kumo" -
The name "Soleil" derives from French origins, meaning "sun", while Kumo is a Japanese word, translating to "cloud".
These two names together influence my inspiration for this shop.
Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:
In my opinion, Shopkeepers play a key factor in fostering player interaction. After all, they add a touch of realism in the server. Having shopkeepers definitely creates a more immersive roleplay environment, and because of this, it has been a role I've been keeping my eye on for quite some time now. Since being on the server for almost two years, I've only recently been taking my chances with positions that've interested me before. Thanks to various roleplay situations with friends in different factions, or with others who have spent time in one before, I can confidently say that the one which has stood out to me the most is shopkeeper. Even with my built up experience, I do feel like there is a lot I can improve on when it comes to my roleplaying capabilities, and I would love to channel my motivation and ideas into a possible pursuit. I am aware of the responsibilities that I will take on with this role, considering its foundation works off of a lot of management and authority, but this is something I am prepared for as a player.
What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?:
A perfect balance between classy, understated luxury, and traditional touches from both French and Japanese aesthetics. This is the picture Soleil Kumo upholds; the restaurant where elegance meets with timeless charm. My ideas for this shop's exterior/interior may go beyond words (and even references. . ), but my favorite outlook might suggest a sophisticated look. Something cozy and fancy. . a place 100% made for fine-dining and dates. If Soleil Kumo were a restaurant, it would likely be centered around creating an unforgettable culinary experience, where guests can immerse themselves in a crafted fusion of French and Japanese cuisine. That is exactly what makes it unique! It flourishes with two distinct food cultures while respecting the nuances of each.

One of the things I'd like for my shop to do is host social gatherings every other opening. I figured it would be a way to invite and bring attraction to Soleil Kumo. Most of these ideas depend on having a little stage within the room, so here're a few of my concepts and how they'd follow through.

If I planned to host any one of these events, I would mark it on a calendar to share with my employees so that they are aware of what's to come. Same for general openings as well. Here's an example:
What will you sell in your shop?:
A French-Japanese restaurant is such a cool concept in my opinion, due to its many possibilities. Japanese seasonal item trends are deeply rooted in the country’s culture of celebrating nature and the changing seasons, and I'd like to implement that in some way with customs. I would like to sell traditional Japanese dishes as well as French pastries and/or treats. It is difficult to find French and Japanese inspired dishes as one, so of course, my searches couldn't go that far. However, here are some cute concepts. .
Most of these are just treats, not main course meals. However, I believe they'd be great and beneficial to sell in my shop.
If we're being practical, here's a starter's idea of what my menu would look like:
There are even a few foods I'd like to include if given the chance. Like dishes such as . .

- Tonkatsu sandwiches
- Macaron baskets
- Black sesame crème brûlée
Those would also have to be custom items. ^-^
How many employees do you plan to have?:
I plan to have at least 34 employees for Soleil Kumo. That sounds like a lot, but it’s really about coverage and flexibility, not having 34 people on shift at once.

Being the owner of Soleil Kumo means overseeing all aspects of the shop, both ICLY and OOCLY. This includes handling recruitment, interviews, and deciding who joins the team. I’ll also be managing inventory and stock. I'd like to set a good example for my employees as a leader, and set goals that'll encourage Soleil Kumo's reputation.

I plan to appoint three dedicated individuals as managers within Soleil Kumo, chosen only after they’ve gained experience and shown a solid understanding of how the shop operates. They will be allowed to host openings whenever I am unavailable, or simply just unable to do so.

Will uniforms be mandatory?
While we can't force you to wear a uniform, we'd highly prefer if you did. Uniforms will be provided for all Soleil Kumo workers and staff. If for any reason you are unable to dress in the given attire, we'd like you to dress somewhat formal for our shop. This is how we'll present ourselves; with class, style, and utter professionalism.

"This shop holds deep meaning for my brother, and while he is currently focused on personal projects, I’ve taken the initiative to launch Soleil Kumo and establish a solid foundation for its success.
