Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:

Teachers are a fundamental part of SchoolRP, helping bring the school environment to life through engaging lessons, meaningful interactions, and realistic classroom experiences. They contribute to the overall atmosphere of the server by giving students a reason to attend classes, interact with others, and develop their characters through everyday school activities. For newcomers, teachers can serve as an important introduction to the community, helping them become familiar with the server's expectations, roleplay standards, and school environment in a welcoming and supportive way.

Beyond guiding new players, teachers help keep SchoolRP active and enjoyable by creating lessons that encourage participation, creativity, and cooperation. Interactive activities and classroom discussions give students opportunities to express their characters, build relationships, and develop their roleplaying abilities. By maintaining a balance between structured learning and enjoyable interactions, teachers help create a believable school atmosphere where students can grow, connect with others, and contribute to the wider roleplaying community.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?:

Yes, I understand that maintaining activity is an important part of being a teacher in SchoolRP, and that prolonged inactivity may result in my position being revoked. I recognize that accepting this role comes with responsibilities, including contributing to the school community, participating in lessons, and providing students with an engaging roleplaying experience. I intend to remain active and fulfill my duties to the best of my ability. If circumstances arise that prevent me from being active for an extended period, I will make sure to notify the appropriate staff members in advance whenever possible.

Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?:

Yes, I am fully willing to participate in teacher training should my application be successful. I understand that training is an important step in preparing for the responsibilities of a teaching position and ensuring that I meet the server's standards and expectations. I am open to learning from experienced staff, receiving feedback, and improving my approach to teaching and roleplay. I will take the training seriously and use it as an opportunity to develop my skills, become a more effective teacher, and provide students with an enjoyable and well-organized classroom experience.

What is your motivation for becoming a Teacher?:

My motivation for becoming a teacher in SchoolRP comes from my desire to contribute to the community in a more meaningful way. After spending a considerable amount of time roleplaying as a student, I feel ready to take on a new challenge and explore the responsibilities that come with being an educator. I want to create the same welcoming and enjoyable roleplay experiences that helped me develop my own skills, while offering other players opportunities to learn, interact, and grow through their characters.

Another aspect that appeals to me is the creative freedom the teaching role offers. I would enjoy planning engaging lessons, encouraging student participation, and creating memorable classroom experiences that make school life feel more realistic and immersive. I see this position as an opportunity to step beyond my usual perspective as a student and contribute to the wider server by helping build an active and enjoyable school environment. Furthermore, becoming a teacher would allow me to develop my character's story in new directions. I would have the opportunity to explore professional relationships, personal growth, and future milestones through in-character interactions. Overall, I am motivated by the chance to take on greater responsibility, expand my roleplaying abilities, and help create an environment where other players can enjoy meaningful and memorable experiences.

What's your character's full name?:

Crossing one leg gracefully over the other as she settled into her seat, Zélie offered those before her a warm, welcoming smile. She lifted her hand in a gentle wave, her straight, pearly-white teeth showing as her smile widened. There was something soft and inviting about her presence, reflected in the relaxed way she carried herself. After lowering her hand into her lap, she straightened slightly and turned her attention towards the interviewers, maintaining comfortable eye contact with each of them as she prepared to speak "Hello! My name is Zélie M. Russo. Thank you for taking the time to meet with me today! I'm looking forward to our interview and excited to have the opportunity to speak with you all."
She finished with another small, sincere smile, her posture remaining composed as she waited for the interview to begin.

What is your character's age?:

Crossing one leg over the other, as she settled comfortably into her seat, a playful smile tugging at the corners of her lips as she answered.
"I'm twenty-seven years young! I suppose I'm at that age where I should start acting a little more like an adult, but where's the fun in that?"
She let out a soft giggle, brushing a strand of her calico hair away from her face With a slight tilt of her head, she gave a small, amused shrug, her dark blue eyes glimmering with a hint of mischief. "Though, I must admit, twenty-seven doesn't sound nearly as old when you say it out loud!" She chuckled softly, clearly amused by her own remark before turning her attention back to the interviewers.

Nationality:

She then would tilt her head slightly, a small, fond smile appearing on her lips as she considered the question. She'd fold her hands neatly in her lap before looking back up at the interviewers, her expression brightening."Well, I'm French and Italian! I've always loved having a little bit of both worlds in me. I suppose you could say I've got a weakness for good Italian food and a soft spot for French culture."She'd let out a lighthearted giggle, her shoulders lifting in a small shrug.

What is your preferred subject to teach?:

Sitting up a little straighter in her seat, she'd fold her hands neatly in her lap, a soft smile spreading across her face as she prepared to answer.
"Mathematics, without a doubt! I've always had a soft spot for numbers and solving problems. There's something so satisfying about working through a difficult equation and finally finding the answer. I'd love to share that passion with my students and show them that maths can be enjoyable rather than something to dread!" A small giggle would escape her lips, her dark blue eyes brightening with enthusiasm as she spoke about one of her favourite subjects

Describe your character:

Screenshot 2026-10-17 023100.png

Zélie was a woman who carried herself with a quiet warmth, someone whose presence could make others feel at ease. Standing at a petite 4'7", with warm tan skin, striking dark blue eyes, and distinctive calico hair, she certainly had a look of her own! Though her small stature might make her stand out in a crowd, it was her gentle nature and welcoming smile that made her all the more memorable.

As a person, Zélie was patient, compassionate, and always willing to lend an ear to those who needed one. She enjoyed getting to know others and believed that everyone had something worthwhile to offer, regardless of their background. While she was naturally soft-spoken and understanding, she wasn't afraid to stand her ground when necessary. Respect was something she valued greatly, and she made sure to treat others with the same kindness and fairness she hoped to receive in return.

When it came to teaching, mathematics was where her passion truly shone! Zélie understood that numbers and equations weren't everyone's favorite things, and she wanted to change that perspective one student at a time. Rather than making her lessons feel like a chore, she hoped to create an environment where students could ask questions, work through challenges, and learn from their mistakes without feeling embarrassed. She believed that a good teacher wasn't simply someone who knew their subject, but someone who genuinely cared about the people they taught. What made Zélie unique was her ability to balance kindness with responsibility. She could be approachable and lighthearted one moment, then composed and serious when a situation called for it. Outside of her professional life, she was currently single and focused on building a future for herself, both personally and professionally. She hoped to continue growing as an individual, forming meaningful connections, and becoming the kind of teacher her students would remember long after leaving her classroom. Above all, Zélie wanted to make a difference, even if it was through the smallest acts of kindness or helping a student finally understand a difficult equation.

Secnarios.pngRoleplay Scenarios

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:

During a mathematics lesson, if Zélie noticed a student struggling with an equation, she'd approach their desk with a gentle smile, not wanting them to feel embarrassed in front of their classmates. "Having a little trouble? That's alright! Let's work through it together."She'd break the problem into smaller steps, explaining each one patiently. If the student still seemed confused, she'd try a different example until they understood. Once finished, she'd encourage them to try another question independently, offering a reassuring smile as she returned to the lesson.

A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:

During a mathematics lesson, if Zélie noticed a student repeatedly disrupting the class, she'd pause her explanation and address them with a calm but firm expression."I'd appreciate it if you saved the jokes for later. We're here to learn, and I'd hate for anyone to fall behind because of distractions." She'd give the student a moment to settle down before continuing with the lesson. However, if the behaviour persisted, she'd issue a formal warning and explain that further disruptions could result in detention. Should the student continue regardless, she'd follow the school's disciplinary procedures to ensure the rest of the class could learn without interruption.

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:

#1 Mathematics Quiz

Zélie would divide the class into small teams and present them with a series of mathematical questions, ranging from simple equations to more challenging problems. Each team would work together to find the correct answers, earning points for accuracy and teamwork. She'd keep the atmosphere lighthearted and encourage everyone to participate, making learning mathematics feel more like a friendly competition than a traditional lesson.

#2 Real-Life Budgeting Challenge

For this activity, Zélie would give students a fictional budget and ask them to plan a shopping trip without exceeding their spending limit. Students would calculate prices, apply discounts, and determine how much money they'd have left. She'd encourage them to work in pairs, comparing their calculations and explaining their reasoning. This would help students understand how mathematics can be useful in everyday life while keeping the lesson engaging and interactive
