Describe your activity on the server:
I'm very active.
I'm too active for my own good, I kind of just float around in my own little void on SRP, you'll see me most often on my college character Himari Hattori-Okkotsu. I genuinely have so much free time and I promise I'm employed I do touch grass but you'll find me online when you wake up and wonder how that's even possible. I'm super social and if I can interact with someone for any reason I do and go out of my way to find new and exciting roleplay opportunities.

Safe to say, I'm super active, usually online for at least 5 hours a day and sometimes more because I love this silly block game! I also have weekends off so if events happen? I can show up! Meetings? Mhm! See you there!

APPLICATION INFORMATION

What position are you applying for?:

Governor

What is your motivation for applying?:
My main motivation for applying is the opportunity to play my long time oc, who is a professionally cruel government woman, on SRP. I love roleplay, and I love the idea of getting to play this character of mine how I intended her to be played! I also have a few friends in government who I've been itching to roleplay with more and simply joining the faction would give me all the reason to pester them on the clock. On top of seeing my friends and playing my character, I find government to be an interesting faction that isn't as saturated as the emergency factions like Police and Hospital. I actually had a character intern at the town hall for a student internship and found the processes we covered very interesting so I know I'll enjoy and play in this faction should I get in!

Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:
I have the most basic understanding of the laws and rights, very rarely do I currently run into situations that require me to know these things. HOWEVER, I'm a quick learner, and learning these things in more detail will not be an issue for me.

What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:
I have pretty simple goals, though I also said that with council and I have opened up a lot of new things there (woops). For government I am primarily looking to bring forward someone in the space who is willing to challenge the other big personalities the office. I want to experience a new faction and what it has to offer! Bring forwards my own ideas for roleplay, events, and whatever else gets thrown my way.

In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:
Mayor

The faction leader / overseer who is responsible for keeping everything running and everyone happy. The public face of the town hall and city you could say! This is the person who gets the final say on the big decisions involving the city including but not limited to, new buildings / construction, policies and regulations, laws and legislation. They may also work with law enforcement to ensure the city is being taken care of.

Deputy Mayor
Similar to the mayor, the deputy mayor assists the mayor in all their responsibilities to ensure when the mayor is away the city doesn't fall apart. They will handle issues the mayor doesn't have time for, look over those in the office and generally act as damage control.

Governor
These guys are in-charge of inspections and keeping things up to code. They can also sign the paper work for marriages and adoptions! They help approve and pass new laws, acting as the voice of change, adaptation, and improvement in the town hall.

Lawyer
Lawyers are the voice of the people, aiding those seeking a legal trial in reaching a verdict that they desire. Lawyers work hard collecting evidence and building their clients cases to bring their best to the courtroom. They're very important to the system, helping people who were wronged make things right, proving innocence, or making sure the guilty are pulled into the light for all to judge.

Judge
The voice of the verdict, judges are the final say in a courtroom case, they have to listen to both sides of a case and take all evidence the lawyers gave them into consideration when making the final call. They are there to maintain balance and order, helping people with restraining orders, and even issuing warrants.

Do you acknowledge that upon being accepted you can be subject to removal at any given time?:
Yes!

Have you read & agreed to follow the Government Faction rules?:
YES! & YES!

IN CHARACTER SECTION

Full name:
Sydney June-Kaseya
She leaned back in her chair, dull hues staying locked on the person before her, calm, quiet confidence radiated off of her. "Sydney June-Kaseya is the name, nothing too fancy." She teased lightly, her tone trying to appear humble though there was a sense of absolute pride in her last name.

Preferred title: Ms. Kaseya
her head tilted to the side for a moment, "preferred title? Ms. Kaseya works just fine."

Current age: 44
Her eyes glanced over the person in front of her, "Don't you know it's rude to ask a woman her age. Why? Interested?" Another dry tease in her voice, though it felt much more like a challenge with how she held herself.

Date of birth: January 4th
She raised a hand to her lips to cover a smile "Planning a surprise? I'm afraid the date has passed.. January 4th, if you want the year you can do the math yourself."

Academic Background:
Sydney leaned forward, her gloved hands folding together and settling on the desk, posture straightening as her eyes focused on the figure across the way.
"I graduated near the top of my class along side a few brilliant minds from a high end school. My final degrees were a doctorate in law, with two degrees in business, and political science."

Work experience:
The question made her eyebrow twitch, she smiled soon after, a gloved hand raking through her black strands of hair.
"I was a government official of this sweet city in Australia, never picked up their adorable accents sadly..." She paused, glancing behind the figure across the desk. "So safe to say I have a fair amount of work experience."

Nationality & born location: English, born in Yorkshire
Her demeanor remained calm and professional, "Ah, I'm from London originally." Sydney didn't elaborate further.

Criminal record: N/A
A stern look crossed her face, "Me? A criminal? Heavens no." She seemed very confident in that answer.

What makes you a good candidate for this job?:
Her eyes lit up in a sinister way, her body language was relaxed with perfect posture while that smile only grew. "Why wouldn't I be a good candidate?" She didn't give the person a chance to reply before continuing with her answer. "I'm a hard working individual who plans to do nothing but exceed your expectations. I'm a stickler for details, I know on the job we inspect businesses? I believe I will be very good at ensuring everything is up to code."
She held eye contact, it was like being caught in a spiders web. "I can keep calm in stressing situations, maintain fair judgement without bias, learn, understand, and follow rules to a 'T.' I'm organized, responsible, and hold myself to very high standards. I will not be someone you regret picking to join you and everyone else here at townhall."
