Describe your activity:
I think my activity is very high. I mean I'm not too sure but every time I go to touch grass I'm thinking about SRP and what I could be doing in a roleplay. Even when I'm in other games im mentally debating the best ways to handle a specific plot line or start a roleplay. I'm on everyday for at least 3-5 hours and that's if I'm lucky cause most times I'll blink and realize it's been 10 hours and I've somehow gotten my character into the backrooms.

Safe to say I'm online very frequently, I'm also easy to reach through discord and get excited for people ping me. The only times you wont see me online is when im absolutely fighting for my life at work or when im out touching grass with my friends. But don't worry, I’m always thinking about this server…

What is your motivation to apply for reporter?:
Hm uhm well my motivation can be boiled down to "oh hey I hear super great things about this faction I wonder if its any fun" and then as soon as those words left my mouth one of the faction higher ups grabbed me by the neck and feverishly started explaining to me in great detail every reason to become a reporter and then telling me I was being kidnapped.

So I think this would be a fantastic faction to be a part of!!
This would also give me the opportunity to better my writing skills, I already feel rather confident in my writing but know there’s plenty of room for improvement and a faction that is BASED ON WRITING REPORTS IS PERFECT PRACTICE!! Y’know also I want to bully miya succ's character cause the only thing more fun than poking a bear is poking a crashout.

Do you have any experience with writing? What is your relationship with writing?:
Unfortunately, I’ve been writing all my life and have always found it very enjoyable. I’m dyslexic and while I wouldn't call myself the world's most amazing writer I still have a great deal of fun doing so even if the words like to dance and wiggle around the page.

Are you aware of - and will follow - the set of rules provided to you?:
Yes!! I’m a big rule follower anyway and will always do my very best to follow them and accept any punishment that comes with breaking them if I accidentally do so!

Why should we accept you over others?:
Man… just look at me, I’m so cool pleaseacceptmeI’llworkreallyhard
But in all seriousness I think you should accept me because I am genuinely a very hard working person who is very motivated and dedicated to everything I do.

My best example of this involves council, In under a year I became the college vice president, instated a new council activity ‘house inspections’ that got the faction more involved with sports teams, was the person who primarily remade the council handbook, and I am the one who is frequently marking activity and handling issues within the faction!

I’m also easy to reach out to and contact on discord for ANY reason, I’m highly communicative and understand the importance of it, so if you are looking for someone who is easy to work with, I’m your guy.

Do you understand you have to stay completely neutral with all reports? (Your report can't have any OOC or IC bias towards a specific group.)
YESS SSIIIRRRR!! I’m very neutral. I'll throw anyone I know and love under the bus if the report calls for it.

Do you trust that you will be able to stay active and complete the monthly quota?:
Yes, and If I don’t you can turn me into mush.

Summarize what you imagine work as a reporter is:
I imagine it to be a wild ride. Snooping for information, interviewing people, and generally looking for the next big thing to cover. Highs and lows, I’m sure there will be very interesting events and then slow times where there feels like nothing is happening.

PROMPTS

#1 - General report. Report about a topic, informing players about an event or significant issues to Karakura.

Both the report and interview are purely fictional with no IC or OOC grounding, just simple fun for the application.

#2 - Interview. It's important to have well-rounded questions. Create your own interview with ten questions or more. And answer them yourself.

The Corruption and the Cure.
[!] As the recording started the sound of tea being poured could be heard, the sound of leather seats being settled into. The first voice to speak was feminine, clean, and sharp, the sound carried itself with confidence and precision. [!]

S.J - “Explain what corruption within the council is.”

[!] The second voice followed after a moment of silence, muddling the slightest sound of a spoon settling on the saucer of the tea set. The words came from a male voice, smooth and unwavering. [!]

Anon - “Corruption in the student council, simply put, is someone ignoring their duties consciously, turning blind eyes, assisting in the harassment of students in one way or another, and even hiding students that have done wrong by refusing to hand out punishment.”

[!] Pen scratched the surface of what sounded like a notebook, notes being written down as the feminine voice rang with the next question. [!]

S.J - “Elaborate on what the corruption within council has done so far”

[!] A sigh from the man, the leather seating whined as he adjusted himself to get comfortable. [!]

Anon - “So far… goodness where can I even start? They’ve lined their pockets with nearly 2 million yen. They’ve let many students get away with issues that they should have been punished for. They’ve harassed and belittled their own peers. They’ve brought down the council’s name.. Reputation- One was arrested for assault, another left on her own terms after grabbing and harassing a student and getting caught- and those are just the ones we’ve caught… we’re not sure who is corrupt and who isn't anymore.”

[!] The sound of the pen never stopped, as if it were trying to catch up to the last thing said. The air stayed quiet for just a moment, a gentle hum breaking up the absence of words. [!]

S.J “What are some future plans to solve this issue?”

[!] As the woman finished her question another silence took hold, thought audible through the void. Yet as the quiet was just getting settled, the thoughts turned to words.. The tone laced with frustration. [!]

Anon - “We’re working on setting up tighter patrols, implementing more eyes in council that will be tasked with reporting corrupt behavior. We’re cracking down on everything, every inspection, every meeting, everything… it’s just hard.. We are meant to be a unit- and now we’re pointing fingers at each other.”

[!] The man finished with a defeated sigh, the sound of chattering china came through, a tea cup being taken off its saucer perhaps. [!]

S.J “What are your thoughts on corruption? From a personal view outside of obligations?”

[!] The sound of a pen tapping against paper started up, tap tap tap tap tap, it was a simple stim. And it stopped once the man began speaking. [!]

Anon - “I think we have an obligation and we took that up when we all joined the student council. If they wanted to be the bully they shouldn’t have joined. It’s corruption, it’s spreading and we need to put a stop to it- that's my personal view.”

[!] Further frustration in his tone, as if he felt he was being attacked, or maybe he didn't fully believe in what he was saying. [!]

S.J - What do you believe your obligations are?

[!] The sound of a tea cup being returned home to its saucer. A controlled clatter.. The recording stuttered for just a second… odd [!]

Anon - Our obligations are to uphold the balance, be role models.. Be.. y’know. We’re meant to better the student body.

[!] Static was found in the silence, had the recording become corrupted? Fitting for the topic of the interview no? Yet as the woman spoke it all stopped, returning to normal. [!]

S.J - And if these corrupt councillors were bettering the student body?

[!] Tap tap tap tap tap, the pen beat against the paper, a sound that stuttered before being cut off by the masculine voice [!]

Anon - That wouldn’t happen, they are going against what we as councillors are meant to be, they pick sides, start fights, and throw tantrums when confronted.. It’s annoying as hell..

[!]A sigh from the man, and a polite hum from the woman. [!]

S.J - Well thank you for your time, I’m interested to see how your story develops, and if you are able to catch these councillors you’re having issues with.

[!] Her tone seemed genuine, yet distant, it contrasted with the man’s voice, full of emotion, frustration, sorrow.. But tucked between those was a thankful hum. [!]

Anon - Of course, and thank you for having me today, even if it’s an amateur report, perhaps it’ll still shed some light on our situation.

[!] As he stopped speaking the recording crackled to life, allowing just three more words to make it out before distorting into a mess. [!]

S.J - Time will tell.

[!] The recording, and all its static came to a sudden stop. [!]
