What experiences do you have with Detail RP?: I have done several detailed rps
including p2l's, painrps, and communicating with teamwork.
What is your motivation to apply for EMS and how will you benefit our current team?: I have been wanting
to be an EMS for several months now, I find the work they do can often be delayed or non existent, i can
help be a solution for this problem.

Specify your knowledge for the role you’re applying for: OOCLY I have taken Medical terminology, CPR 101, and I'm CPR certified.
I have also done volunteer work through my high school at the local hospital for their training. All because
I will be going into college for pre med.

The Hospital Director is the head of the hospital and is responsible for the recruitment, selection, and hiring
of the hospital staff. They also coordinate and work with the department heads regarding the salary,
benefits, incentives, and leaves for each employee under their guidance. The hospital director
should also be aware of what's going on between his/her staff, keeping them motivated and in line.
The Clinical Manager maintains responsibility for all administrative aspects of a clinical facility.
They should be expected to manage facility operations, training existing employees, and
communicating with clinic employees.
The Clinical Leads such as Surgeon, Doctor, and Psychiatrist are expected to coordinate and oversee activities of the clinic and clinical
team members to ensure compassionate, effective and efficient delivery of high quality clinical care for patients.
The Head Departments such as Surgeon, Doctor, and Psychiatrist to train and work as their separate leads. Such
the Surgeon Department carrying out effective and correct surgeries that resolve the issue with the patient.
The doctor department carries out the swift and efficient care of patients as they come in the door.
The Psychiatrist department is focused on the mental well being of their patients, getting them
to cope with their misfortunes.
The Attendings for the Surgeon, Doctor, and Psychiatrist oversee their employees, guiding them through
their residencies. They are to keep up moral and carry out their jobs.
The Surgeons are responsible for performing surgeries on patients with injuries or illnesses. Their duties include reviewing patient x-rays and
communicating with the patient about the procedure, preparing for surgery and completing surgeries with the assistance of other Surgeons,
Nurses and surgical professionals and speaking with patients after the surgery to discuss its success and the recovery process.
The Doctors responsibilities are to assess symptoms, diagnose conditions, prescribe and administer treatment.
Provide follow-up care of patients, refer them to other providers, and interpret their laboratory results, collaborate with physician assistants,
nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and other health professionals, and prescribe medication.
The Psychiatrists responsibilities are to refer a patient for psychological testing to determine a diagnosis and its severity, recommending
and designing a treatment plan. Talking to the patients’ about their problems to try to resolve them, exploring the patients’ past experiences to learn
how they affect their current state of mind and behavior, helping patients change their thought processes and behavior.
Prescribing medication that can alter chemical imbalances affecting the patient’s state of mind and behavior

Tell us about your character; how do they look, what makes them unique?
Meraki is a 5'8 with a pear shaped figure. She would have long, dark brunette hair. Her face of rests
in a calm, inviting manner making speaking to her easier. She has a silky voice with a slight Greek accent
mixed with a charming after-tone. Every step she takes its with confidence and assurance.
Two tattoos rest on her body, one on her forearm
of an Icarus and "Memento Mori" on the other forearm.
This holds a deep meaning to Meraki.

Everyday you will find her wearing some blue articles of clothing.
Whether it be a beret to a sweater. She was raised to believe that blue was a color to ward
off evils, so since she began her internship she has worn some form of blue. Gold earrings always
pierce her ears and a single gold necklace with a diamond ring rests on her chest.
What are they like on and off the job? When Meraki is on the job she is incredibly focused,
and disciplined. You will find her always waiting for the next patient, if not reading in the meantime
she is found practicing stitches. Meraki is a firm believer that practice is perfection, but if
you slack off perfection can fade. When it comes to teamwork her awkward side comes out,
making her very blunt and straight to the point. Off the job Meraki can be found in the
library, taking care of her niece Remira, or touring the town. She finds the culture
difference from Greece very intriguing.
Outlook on their co-workers? Plans for the future? Meraki comes off very blunt
and socially awkward when it comes to chit-chat with her co-workers, but tries to make it work.
Although this happens quite often, she respects and admires her colleagues. Meraki
wants to settle down in Karakura while taking care of Remira. She dreams of being the
Hospital Director one day, and decided a long time ago that she wouldn't retire until
she was made to. For "This is what she was made for".

At the age of 7 Meraki developed social anxiety, so much that it was difficult to make friends her
own age. Liane, Meraki's mother then would take her to therapy where she would
attend the next five years. It doesn't affect her much now, but she can still come off
awkward or blunt at times.

She was raised by her mother and father, and grew up with her brother Neil.
The Ukiyo family has always been fairly well off so she had many things in life,
but her brother made sure she stayed humble. Neil and Meraki
were very close growing up, almost inseparable. Even when they
started their education at prep school Neil would be following
Meraki around making sure her nerves were in check. They were Yin and Yang.
Neil was bubbly and an elite socialite, while Meraki kept to herself and her books.
He pushed her out of her comfort zone to make friends and she helped him study for
exams. Liane and Yunka Ukiyo, their mother and father, took good care of Meraki and Neil.
Supporting and gifting every opportunity they could ask for. Although they did this,
Neil and Meraki were taught discipline and honor as well, never taking what they had for
granted. Stories of Icarus lingered in their minds, keeping them humbled.
Meraki remembers very well the day she knew she wanted to go into the medical field.
She was in 10th grade when she signed up for a shadowing of a local surgeon.
The moment she heard the bustling of the ER room, watching every movement
the surgeon made, she knew. From that point on Meraki focused on getting to college, while
Neil was captain of the soccer team. After graduation they separated ways, but always kept
up with each others lives. To this day Meraki has a drawer in her bedside table stuffed full of
Neil's hand written notes from college. She finished med school at top of her class due to
her discipline and strategies. Although she did ace most classes there was always
"room for improvement" when it came to socialization. Meraki began her internship in 2013,
then residency in 2017. As she neared the end of her residency she started noticing less letters
from Neil. Early in the morning on January 26th 2022, Meraki received a call stating her brother
had been killed in a car accident due to cranial bleeding. This would shatter her, for he was
her rock. She knew that Neil had a child in Japan, his new life had been there since college.
Meraki buckled down finishing her residency before requesting a transfer to Karakura's hospital
for a surgeon position. She would pack up and fly out a mere few weeks later, witnessing Japan for the first time.
This would have been a magical experience if it wasn't for a grim reason, she always wanted to see where her brother lived;
but never under these circumstances. She reunited with Remira "Aria" Ukiyo in June, becoming the sole caretaker of her.
