Backstory (100+ Words)
Nathaniel Makarov, known as Nate grew up in Moscow, Russia. He lived in a rough area experiencing many dangers in life from a young age. Nate had experienced the pain of losing loved ones due to illnesses and injuries related to crime that could have been prevented if they had the funds. One day when Nate was 10 years old his sister fell ill and due to his poor living situation there was nothing he or his family could do, they were unable to provide the necessary care and had to watch the inevitable happen. From that day on, Nate vowed to himself and to his family to become a surgeon and help his family.Yes, I do acknowledge that I'm subject to being demoted at any time if accepted.

Backstory (100+ Words)
Sadly, No matter who Nate told nobody had taken him seriously at all. Everybody around him dismissed his dreams and took him for a fool. However, this did not faze him as he knew that he had to become a surgeon by any means, in fact it only gave him more motivation to prove them wrong. He devoted himself to his studies and excelled. Throughout the years he struggled but knowing that there were those out there suffering motivated him. Eventually to pursue better education he had to move away from Moscow and headed to Karakura. After moving, he excelled in school putting in countless hours day and night. After all that the time for him to graduate came. He graduated with a Masters degree in medicine and surgery. He headed straight for the role of a surgeon in Karakura Hospital.

Due to his past he was always keen to learn more about the human body, he dived deep into many surgery's and had an interest for the human body and brain.
What medical residencies did your character take after medical school?
After gaining his Masters he took a Residency for 3 years where he absorbed all his knowledge from being an intern surgeon.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
During his residency he worked as an intern surgeon, taking in all knowledge he could and expanding his overall ability.
Has your character completed any additional schooling?
Nate has no additional schooling apart from his Masters Degree in Medicine and Surgery.

Nate is a tall 6'2" tall male with a scarred right eye and blonde hair completed with a beard.
How does your character act on and off duty?
Nate is very conversational and is happy to help whenever however, when on duty sometimes he is too focused to want to conversate.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Nate functions better with others better or with the same ability as him as it keeps him in check.
What plans does your character have for the future?
Nate plans to continue being a Surgeon for many more years, he hopes to eventually start a healthy family.
How is your character perceived by others? How does it contrast with their perception of themself?
Nate is often told he is a "friendly giant", he is tall and with his appearance can sometimes appear menacing but when u have a conversation with him you automatically see he is a kind male.
