School Employee Role you are applying for?:
I am applying for the Caretaker position at Karakura High School.
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
The role of a Caretaker involves various key responsibilities that are integral to ensuring the day-to-day operations of the school run smoothly. As a Caretaker, I would be tasked with maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the school's premises, providing support to both students and faculty, and ensuring that all facilities are in working order.
This involves performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting public spaces, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other high-traffic areas. In addition to regular cleaning duties, the Caretaker is responsible for managing waste disposal, ensuring that all facilities are well-stocked with necessary supplies, and addressing any maintenance issues that arise such as fixing leaks, lightbulbs, or damaged furniture.
The role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards around the school, such as broken or loose objects, damaged flooring, or areas where students might hurt themselves, and taking immediate action to resolve these issues. A caretaker’s ability to be vigilant, detail-oriented, and resourceful is vital to ensure the safety and well-being of the students and staff.
Additionally, the Caretaker often serves as a first point of contact for students nd faculty who may need assistance. This could include helping a student who has spilled something, retrieving cleaning materials for teachers, or responding to emergency situations (like minor accidents). The role is physically demanding, as it involves a lot of movement, bending, and lifting, but it also requires a great deal of patience and dedication. A Caretaker must be prepared to work quietly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to the students' learning environment while keeping the school safe, clean, and welcoming.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I have been an active roleplayer on the SchoolRP server for quite some time, immersing myself in the life of a student and later taking on various school related roles. My experience revolves primarily around building my character, Timur Müller, and engaging with other players in meaningful, character-driven interactions. I started by participating in regular school life: attending classes, joining clubs, and forming friendships with other students. This allowed me to practice reacting to different scenarios and develop my character’s personality and backstory through interactions with others.
As my character, Timur Müller, evolved, I sought to delve deeper into the social and structural aspects of the server. I began to understand the significance of community-building and how important it is for each individual to contribute to the server’s roleplay environment. For example, I often take part in school events, such as clubs, student-run activities, and academic competitions. These events allow me to interact with a larger group of players, contribute to group narratives, and navigate social hierarchies within the school setting.
Overall, my experience in SchoolRP has taught me how to navigate both structured and impromptu roleplay scenarios. Whether participating in lessons, managing maintenance issues, or helping with unexpected events, I’ve come to understand the value of consistency, adaptability, and collaboration. I continuously strive to enhance my roleplay by staying engaged with others, ensuring my character remains a dynamic and integral part of the SchoolRP community.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
I want to join the School Employee faction because I believe that my character, Timur Müller, has a unique set of skills and interests that align well with the responsibilities and goals of this faction. Over my time on the server, I have gained a deep understanding of the importance of creating a positive and supportive environment within the school, and I believe I can contribute to this in a more substantial way by joining the School Employee faction.
Having already spent considerable time in the school’s community, I’ve come to realize that while students and faculty members are essential for the academic and social growth of the school, the support staff, like caretakers, play a crucial role in ensuring that the day-to-day environment remains conducive to learning and interaction. The School Employee faction would allow me to be a direct part of this process, providing services that impact everyone’s experience on the server. As a caretaker, I can ensure that the school is well-maintained, free from hazards, and welcoming for both students and staff. The satisfaction of knowing I am directly contributing to the smooth operation of the school is something I find fulfilling.
Additionally, joining the faction would allow me to become more integrated with the school’s social and organizational structure. Being part of a dedicated team of staff members would allow me to develop stronger relationships with other employees and students, creating a more immersive roleplay experience. It would also provide more opportunities for in-depth interactions and storyline development. For example, I could help students with various issues, whether it's cleaning up after an accident or solving problems with the building's upkeep. I also see this as a chance to add to the roleplay experience by offering services that others might not be able to, fostering a more collaborative and supportive community.

✿Situations✿
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
When a student starts cursing at Timur Müller during his shift as a caretaker, his first reaction is to remain composed. Understanding that his role involves maintaining a peaceful and safe environment, he makes a conscious effort to stay calm and not let the insults affect him personally. Despite the frustration from the student, Timur takes a moment to breathe deeply, focusing on his own reaction to avoid escalating the situation. Instead of responding with anger, he speaks in a calm but firm tone, attempting to de-escalate the situation by addressing the inappropriate language. He understands that the student may be acting out of stress or frustration and doesn't take the insults to heart. Timur politely but clearly sets boundaries, explaining that such behavior is not acceptable, while offering to listen to whatever might be troubling the student. His approach is grounded in empathy, as he believes that understanding the root cause of the student's frustration is key to resolving the conflict. If the student continues to act out, he remains professional, suggesting they talk in private or simply walking away to give the student space to cool off. Throughout the incident, Timur maintains a neutral and supportive stance, knowing that part of his job is to ensure that all students, no matter their mood, are treated with respect and care. Once the situation is resolved, he continues with his duties, reflecting on the encounter and preparing for the next challenge, always focusing on keeping the school environment as positive and safe as possible.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
When Timur Müller notices two students physically fighting in the hallway, his immediate reaction is one of urgency mixed with controlled calm. As a caretaker, he is aware that it’s his responsibility to ensure the safety of all students and to intervene in a way that stops the conflict without escalating it. His first step is to assess the situation quickly, gauging the severity of the fight. If punches have already been thrown, he understands that this isn’t just a verbal argument—it’s a serious physical altercation that needs immediate attention.
Without hesitation, Timur rushes toward the scene, his body language firm and authoritative, yet not aggressive. His priority is to reach the students before the fight escalates any further. As he approaches, he calls out loudly but calmly to draw the students' attention, hoping to disrupt the violence without startling them too much. His voice is steady, cutting through the chaos.
If the students don’t stop on their own, Timur would get in between them, using his body to separate the fighters while being mindful of their emotional states. He doesn’t immediately touch them unless it’s necessary to break the physical contact. Instead, he raises his hands, offering a non-threatening gesture to show that he is trying to calm the situation.
Once the situation is under control and the students have calmed down enough to speak, Timur makes sure to gather information on the cause of the fight. He doesn’t assume that one side is entirely at fault; instead, he listens to both perspectives and ensures that the students understand the consequences of their actions. If necessary, he will report the incident to the proper authorities and recommend further mediation or disciplinary actions, depending on the severity of the altercation.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
When Timur Müller notices another school employee acting inappropriately or engaging in dangerous behavior while on the job, his first instinct is to assess the situation carefully. His primary concern is the safety and well-being of everyone in the school, so he immediately focuses on understanding the gravity of the issue before taking action. Recognizing that certain dangerous actions could lead to harm, Timur takes a moment to evaluate whether the behavior poses an immediate risk to anyone around or if it can be corrected with a direct but calm intervention. He doesn’t rush into confrontation instead, he makes his presence known in a calm but firm manner, ensuring the other employee is aware of his concern without feeling attacked.
Timur’s first words are always intended to defuse any tension while addressing the problem directly. “Hey, I think what you're doing right now could lead to some serious problems. We need to stop this before something happens.” His approach is non-confrontational but clear in its intent he wants the other employee to realize the potential consequences of their actions, while also making sure that the situation doesn't escalate. If the employee continues their dangerous behavior or resists stopping, Timur understands that further intervention is needed.
If the employee still doesn’t listen, Timur knows it’s time to escalate the issue and report the dangerous behavior to a superior, ensuring that the problem is handled by someone with the authority to take more severe action if necessary. He recognizes that maintaining the safety of the school environment is a shared responsibility, and as a caretaker, he is just as responsible for the actions of his fellow employees, especially if they put others at risk. After reporting the incident, Timur would follow up, ensuring that proper steps are taken to address the issue and prevent it from happening again in the future.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
When Timur Müller is in the employee break room, he tends to be quiet and observant, taking the opportunity to recharge while maintaining a sense of professionalism. As a caretaker, his role involves a lot of physical work, so the break room provides him with a brief respite. He typically sits at one of the tables or stands by the counter, often drinking something warm like coffee or tea, allowing him to take a moment to relax and gather his thoughts before heading back to his duties.
While he enjoys the break time to clear his mind, he also uses it as an opportunity to reflect on the day’s work or think ahead to the tasks he still has to complete. His focus is always on maintaining the school’s safety and cleanliness, so sometimes, even during his break, his thoughts might drift toward finding ways to improve his work or considering issues that might arise later in the day.
Overall, Timur’s behavior in the break room reflects his nature calm, respectful, and focused, always aiming to maintain a sense of professionalism even in moments of rest
Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
/me walks swiftly down the hallway, the rhythmic sound of his worn leather boots echoing on the polished floor with each step. He surveys the area around him, eyes scanning the floor for any potential hazards, his mop and bucket in hand. As he reaches the student lockers, his gaze lands on a fresh spill near the corner, a dark stain slowly spreading across the tile. Without a moment’s hesitation, he sets the bucket down with a soft thud, the metal handle clinking against the floor. Kneeling gracefully, he begins scrubbing at the stain with practiced efficiency, his movements smooth and deliberate. His face tightens in concentration as his hands move rhythmically, the bristles of the mop gliding over the tile with precise strokes. The sound of his work fills the hallway, faint but consistent. After a few minutes, the stain is gone, the floor shining once again. He stands, wiping the back of his hand across his forehead, beads of sweat catching the light. His eyes scan the hallway briefly to ensure the area is clear before picking up his bucket again and continuing his task, his footsteps steady and purposeful as he moves on.
/me stands at the entrance of the bustling school cafeteria, his eyes sweeping over the room. He watches the students moving around, some laughing and chatting while others rush to grab their lunch. The buzz of conversation fills the air, but Timur remains focused, clipboard in hand, as he checks off the tasks for the day. His gaze shifts to the overflowing trash bins along the back wall, a small sigh escaping his lips. He makes a mental note and heads toward the nearest bin, bending slightly to lift the lid with a practiced motion. The smell of leftover food briefly fills the air as he dumps the contents into a large garbage bag, the weight of it shifting in his arms. His movements are smooth and quick, years of experience making him efficient at the task. After securing the bag, he ties it tightly, ensuring it won’t spill. His eyes briefly scan the cafeteria, noting any areas that might need attention crumbs on a table, spilled juice on the floor. After a quick evaluation, he nods to himself, then heads to the storage room to grab a fresh trash bag, his footsteps calm but determined as he makes his way through the busy room.
/me enters the staff lounge, the door creaking slightly as he pushes it open. His work uniform is damp from his earlier work, the fabric clinging to his skin. He places his mop and bucket by the door, giving a brief glance around the room. The lounge is quiet, a few staff members chatting softly at one of the tables, their voices low but friendly. Timur moves over to the coffee machine, his movements deliberate as he fills a cup with the hot, fragrant brew. He inhales deeply, the warmth of the coffee a welcome contrast to the coolness of the hallway. Taking a sip, he exhales slowly, letting the warmth settle in his chest as he leans against the counter. His eyes briefly meet the others in the room, offering a small, polite nod, though he’s not one to join in their conversations. Timur enjoys the quiet of the break room, a brief moment of peace in the middle of a busy shift. He takes another sip of his coffee, his fingers tapping lightly against the rim of his cup as he watches the others, content in the stillness. Once he finishes, he refills the cup, his routine as calm and measured as ever, and heads back toward the school corridors, his thoughts already shifting to the tasks that await him.

✿Timurs backstory✿
Timur Müller was born and raised in a quiet town nestled in the hills of Bavaria, Germany. Growing up, his family wasn’t wealthy, but they lived a humble, peaceful life. His father, a skilled craftsman, worked in a small woodworking shop, while his mother worked as a teacher at a local school. From a young age, Timur was taught the value of hard work and responsibility. His parents, while kind and supportive, were strict in their expectations, and their discipline shaped Timur’s sense of duty and respect for structure.
Though Timur didn’t excel academically like his mother hoped, his passion lay in working with his hands. He found solace in physical labor, whether it was helping his father build furniture or assisting with chores around the house. However, he always felt like an outsider among the other children. His peers were focused on academic success and social events, but Timur was more introspective, preferring solitary activities like long walks in nature or reading books on mechanics and engineering. He often felt like he didn’t quite fit in with their world, though he never resented it—he simply preferred his own path.
During his teenage years, Timur’s relationship with his parents became more strained. While his mother, a teacher, tried to push him toward pursuing an academic career, Timur’s interest in manual labor and practical work grew stronger. He left home at the age of 18, moving to the city to find work. It wasn’t easy at first. He took on various odd jobs—anything that allowed him to stay busy and support himself. His resilience eventually led him to a steady position as a janitor at a local high school, where he could work with his hands, fix things, and maintain the school’s facilities.
It was during his time at the school that Timur began to realize how much he enjoyed the sense of responsibility and routine. He was proud of maintaining the school’s cleanliness, organizing the equipment, and being the person who kept things running smoothly behind the scenes. Though the students rarely noticed his efforts, he took pride in his role. Over the years, Timur became a staple of the school, known for his quiet but steady presence.
Despite his humble role, he developed a deep respect for education and the well-being of students. He became close with the school’s staff, not through grand gestures or leadership, but through his genuine care and reliability. He was the person everyone could depend on, whether it was a simple task like fixing a broken door or making sure the school was ready for an important event. He saw his work as part of a greater mission to ensure the safety and comfort of the students and staff around him.
Now, in his mid-thirties, Timur has settled into his life as a caretaker at the school, finding satisfaction in the stability his role offers. While his ambitions are simple, he takes great pride in his work. His dedication and reliability have earned him the respect of both his colleagues and the students, even if they don’t always recognize it. Timur understands that every role in the school is essential, no matter how small it might seem to others. He has found peace in knowing that his steady contributions help keep the world around him functioning smoothly.
While his past still lingers in the quiet moments when he reflects, Timur has come to accept that he is happiest when he is quietly serving others, ensuring their safety and comfort, and finding purpose in his day-to-day work. The lessons his parents instilled in him have shaped who he is today—a humble, hardworking man who finds fulfillment in the small, yet important, things that make the world run.
Despite his reserved nature, Timur has developed a quiet strength that reflects in his work. His backstory is one of perseverance, acceptance, and pride in simplicity, and it continues to define how he approaches life in the school and beyond.
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
Joining Karakura High School means more than just a job to me. Over the years, I’ve learned that my role as a caretaker goes beyond cleaning and fixing things. It’s about being a steady presence, someone who ensures that the school runs smoothly for both students and staff. But lately, I’ve started to feel that I can offer more. I’ve seen the struggles of the students some deal with pressures I’ll never fully understand but I know that small acts of care can make a big difference. Whether it’s a quick word of encouragement or helping someone feel safe, I want to be there for them in a more meaningful way.
I’ve always been someone who works behind the scenes, and I’m fine with that, but being a part of the KHS staff would allow me to help even more. It’s about making sure the school is not only a clean and safe place but a supportive one where everyone can feel comfortable. Joining officially gives me the chance to grow alongside the school, to be more involved in ways I’ve always wanted to be, and to be someone the students can rely on, even if they don’t always see me doing it. I’m motivated by the idea of being a constant, reliable figure that students can count on, whether it’s for the small tasks or the moments when they need someone to listen. It’s a way for me to contribute more to this place that has become like home.
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I believe I should be accepted for the caretaker role at Karakura High School because of my unique blend of dedication, experience, and quiet passion for maintaining a positive and well-functioning school environment. I’ve been working as a caretaker for years, and in that time, I’ve learned not just the technical skills required for the job but the interpersonal skills necessary to understand the needs of both students and staff. What sets me apart from other applicants is my genuine commitment to the students' well-being and the school’s overall atmosphere. I don’t just see my role as cleaning and maintaining the school — I see it as supporting a community. I am the one who notices when a student seems down or when a situation needs careful attention, even if it's not immediately obvious. My work ethic is strong, and I’m the type of person who’s always willing to go the extra mile, whether it’s taking care of small maintenance issues before they become problems or making sure the school’s facilities are always in top shape. But beyond that, I’m always observing, listening, and ready to offer help when it's needed most.
