J. ‘Segreti’: Good morning, evening, or night dear listeners! Welcome to the second episode of the Ephialtes Radio; the only radio station in Karakura that brings you conspiracy and mystery in the same place!
Today’s episode is focusing on something a bit more niche than the power plant that everyone knows about. With new guests and spookier stories, listen along as we discuss the mysteries of the rooms within the sewers. Obviously, you all might have conspiracies of your own – feel free to pop them in the suggestions box in the News Station lobby, as always. The questions I’m asking today are as follows: What does each room mean? What is the history behind them?! What secrets have been left, long forgotten and lost to time..?
There isn’t much background we can provide for these rooms, other than the fact that they’re in the sewers.

J. ‘Segreti’: Introducing ‘Anonymous Reader’, who has graciously offered a few stories about the sewers and the rooms inside - for your listening pleasure! Anon, tell us, what are some unexplainable stories you have?
Anonymous Reader: Well, I don't remember when this was but I was late to a party. On the other side of the city. My motorbike was parked at home so the only hope I had of reaching it in time was through a shortcut in the sewers. I was just minding my own business when a masked man- Or woman or any other gender approached me, they asked ‘Whatcha doing here?’ I told I was late. Then they asked me to leave. After this they pulled out some giant wrench and began attacking me with it. I luckily got out of the situation without any injuries.
J. ‘Segreti’: Normal criminal shi--stuff, then? Yikes... Anything. . more leaning on the ah, mystery and supernatural aspect?
Anonymous Reader: Oh loads of them! Maybe the most notable being a statue moving. And talking.
J. ‘Segreti’: Do tell.
Anonymous Reader: Well I was just hanging around the church, as you do, talking to some friends just chilling when we saw the Mary statue - which usually resides outside the church - standing in the graveyard. Then it just began moving- Like floating forward or something. It went towards that one sewer entrance near the church. I went down there with my friends and there she was, in the middle of the abandoned Masamaru station.
J. ‘Segreti’: Oh, creepy.. Very creepy, do you know why it started moving?
Anonymous Reader: Well probably some kind of good spirit residing in there. That's at least my theory, based on some evidence I gathered.
J. ‘Segreti’: Hmm.. Spirits. Interesting.. Any other spooky shit like that? Maybe.. a bit deeper in the sewers?
Anonymous Reader: Some of my friends have encountered spirits near the Kiken station."
J. ‘Segreti’: Do you know the details?
Anonymous Reader: The name was Fūraimatsu if I remember correctly? Then my brother got attacked by some gas, he ran away before he could investigate further though.
J. ‘Segreti’: Fancy name.. Gas?
Anonymous Reader: I don't really know, I myself haven't encountered that many spirits in the sewers.
J. ‘Segreti’: Ah that's okay. Thank you for your time, Anon. Do you have any final things you'd like to share?
Anonymous Reader: Next time you should maybe cover the school. There's loads of spirits residing in there, and the Occult Club of the 60s would be an interesting topic to cover. Anon signing off!

J. ‘Segreti’: Wow! Wasn’t that.. exciting? That Mary statue floating and moving?! I always knew something was off about it.. and no, it wasn’t my religious trauma!
Moving on, we have an exclusive interview with someone who knows a lot about this town, and the places within it!

‘█████████’: That is the Sewer Maintenance Room, located within central sewers. [...] It is from there that ventilation and some pipe systems are being controlled from, at least from the looks of it. Also where some experimentation was led seemingly with funds, given the material they were given access to. Money does not appear from nowhere. Heard some words about those locker names being related to 'sewer dwellers', but that could have been a vast joke. Take it as you want.
J. ‘Segreti’: Experimentation? Do you have any details?
‘█████████’: Apologies
J. ‘Segreti’: You okay?
‘█████████’: No I am not.
J. ‘Segreti’: Oh, okay.
‘█████████’: Anyway. What was the question?
J. ‘Segreti’: Do you have any details about the experimentation?
‘█████████’: Ho... Well I used to think I had...
‘█████████’: But I am still looking into other trails.
‘█████████’: Please...
J. ‘Segreti’: If you need to leave, you can..

Anonymous: Well these would be two rooms. First the bathroom. I have heard no specific tale of thought met with a spirit back in October. Nothing much to be said however - if not students messing around with an Ouija Board and causing him distress, but it merely happened to take place in there. It is not bound to the bathroom itself. I am unsure why you refer to it as a single room. Perhaps because these two are close geographically?"
J. ‘Segreti’: They're close to each other. Ain't want it to be going on for too long, y'know? Spirits.. Right. Is that the only stuff you have? Do you not know the history of it?
Anonymous: Asked that question because there is a third room in that area. It is locked now, but it used to be open, you know? I do believe I know the story of that other room, with the subject 34254322. But it is rather grim. Neither you nor I would like to read that in the newspapers.
J. ‘Segreti’: The Ephialtes Radio isn't for the faint-hearted, ████. You can share some of the minor details, right?
Anonymous: Usually I would play a bit around, give hints. It makes the tale hunt funnier, you know? I did not mean in regard to your audience. I know they have that misplaced curiosity, I am familiar. I meant in regard to the young girl who died there. Self-explanatory.
J. ‘Segreti’: How delightful. Know anything about this one?
Anonymous: Now I am surprised that you paired those two rooms before, but made it separate between that one and the Sewer Maintenance Room. you do remember that imposing door from the first room you showed me. I would assume you noticed that it directs onto the one you are showing me, presently. I will cut to the chase. While what took place here is uncertain to many, a camera rolling in front of a gigantic mechanical door, onto a corridor up until a blood drenched room is not the nicest sight. There is a sign under the leaves. If my memory serves me well, it reads 115P CH405.
J. ‘Segreti’: Had to get into that one a bit.. differently. It's freaky. Didn't enjoy it much. Those are all the pictures l have. Do you have any other stories, or. ..
Anonymous: Many parts of the sewers have their own story. Whether urban lore, criminal events or anecdotes. You could write an entire book on it. Most of those who have the stories are either deceased, ran away, or lost their minds. Not because of the stories themselves, at least I hope. Just that they are old enough to end up insane I suppose. You should look into that third room, though.

J. ‘Segreti’: Well, wasn’t that an enlightening interview? The sewers really are a mystery, even to those who study them. How strange.. How exciting! Obviously, there’s a ton more questions to be asked.. What is the true story behind the numbers? Why is that room covered in blood!
