[OOC: Even if you aren't here for the IC reason, you can take this IC if you'd like-]
Once upon a time there was a small fish named Dakota.
Dakota dreamed of adventuring, exploring places far beyond a fish's reach.
But his parents didn't let him.
"No! You are not to leave this cave, the light is dangerous!" Dakota's mother yelled; Well, more like 'bubbled' out.
"But-" Dakota tried to speak, but his mother only yelled in return, "NO! No 'buts', you are not leaving!"
Dakota slammed his fins against himself in anger; Quickly turning away from his mother and storming to his corner of the cave.
Why... Why can't I leave this dreadful cave? I want to be free, I want to swim to where the sun cannot reach.
Oh, I dream of a day where I can swim free. A day where the sky sleeps and sun doesn't shine. I just wish to swim.
...
But, that day would never come; If Dakota didn't change, nothing would.
Taking a deep gulp of water, Dakota spun around and eyed the beam of light shining into the cave.
He wanted to leave, his desire was bubbling in his system. No more could his parents tell him what he could and couldn't do.
He waited until the light dimmed. And as it started to fade...
Dakota bolted! He swam faster than he had ever swam before! No more was he going to stay locked in the cave.
He passed his parents, his brothers, and sisters with the speed of a sailfish and headed straight towards the monotone light. The world flipped, from the dull gray cave to vivid green surroundings. He had done it; Dakota swam to the moon.
