I mean killing, kidnapping, and physical assault is illegal for a reason, why would you implement them into a game with a younger audience?
Why should they prohibit something that the majority of the server's users enjoy doing? Do you realize it would eliminate half of the players???? And how many people would leave because they only play on srp for that kind of thing? I personally dislike gangrp. BUT that doesn't mean it won't be the same for many other people who enjoy it. This same younger audience is interested in that sort of thing, and SRP shouldnt be held accountable for what a child does in a Minecraft server, because they have parents and legal guardians who can monitor what they do, right?
People (some of them atleast) will not find stocks interesting in any case, as the server is made up of more young people, and will find it boring, resulting in an epic failure. So comparing gangrp to stocks makes no sense because gangrp has been around for YEARS and is doing well, as opposed to an idea that will most likely fail. They are not on the same playing field.

Honestly, looking at some of the reasons not to add lottery/stocks into SRP has given me an idea. The main gripe against adding stocks into SRP is that it might inadvertently introduce younger community members to gambling, which is a genuine concern.

However, this could also be used to SRP's advantage. What if we made stocks completely inaccessible instead of making stocks a 50/50 chance of winning/losing money? If we increased the risks to an almost comical degree and dropped the rewards of stock trading severely low, it could potentially still be a way of including stock trading into SRP whilst also deterring anybody from using it consistently after they realise that there is literally no reason as to why they should risk everything for a small uptick in money.

although this would be smart if the server's main goal would be to deter their audience away from stocks, doing this with the plugin would make it completely useless and unused.. besides, why do we need to deter the audience away from stocks, if they have no reason to be attracted towards them in the first place..

I never said anything about shutting down GangRP nor did I claim that players do not enjoy GangRP. I was just suggesting that if GangRP is allowed, how Bad can the idea be(towards the young audiences that is)?

Honestly, fair point. On second thought, making a plugin designed for pain is a bit dumb of a suggestion (duh).

Fair enough. In my opinion, it is not all about the money tho, it also adds a little element to the server, rather if you think it's necessary or not.

if gangrp has been around from the start5 of the server, it's obviously STILL not on the same level dude !!!!

This idea being denied or not doesn't really matter, since this is only a suggestion anyways.
If they really do find it boring/unless they can simply just not use it during their RP experience, it's not like everyone is gonna like this. Nobody is forcing them to use it or whatever. Personally, I don't really see the harm in having a lottery system and even if it does fail they can remove it from the server anytime they want. Only time will tell.

WHAT YOU WANT TO SUGGEST OR MENTION:
Petition to add some sort of lottery system into SRP(Create prize pool with 100k minimum payout, and whoever wants to tribute has to pay 5k to enter. All of the tributer's money will go into the prize pool. The price pool opens at the end of each week, winner takes everything from the prize pool)

Or
Adding a Stock service(Like the old duxcoin) at the bank.

HOW WILL THIS BENEFIT THE SERVER/COMMUNITY?:
1. Every player would receive a fair chance to become rich/poor
2. Adding an extra feature to the bank (In my opinion, the bank is pretty pointless right now)
3. It offers the thrill of gambling and the enjoyment of winning
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

For those who use "This is a SchoolRP" as an argument, I just want to point out that GangRP exists, and the players still tolerate it, even tho in my opinion it is literally the Opposite OF SCHOOLRP.
Getting rid of gangrp will get rid of a majority of players. As bad as that is, its a fact. Some people stay for the gangrp, more than the roleplay itself. SRP shouldn't be geared around gangrp, or adding stocks, but it should be able to compliment the main basis of the server.

It's not just La Casa Nostra I am talking about. In the nightclub "The LUXE", there is a whole casino at the back including THE LUCKY WHEEL where you could win a car(Personally, I LOVE this idea).

And once again, I never said that we should remove GangRP. The reason I brought GangRP into this conversation is that people keep saying that "It's suitable for the younger community" and "This is a SCHOOL roleplaying server, not a business strategy game". Therefore my point is that if GangRP can be tolerated among the community, I don't see how this idea is gonna hurt anyone or ruin the fact that it is a School based roleplay server
