Touch one of us, and meet The River.
The River is the name of a BBS (bulletin-board system) used by an extremely powerful and immense organization of sophisticated and sick-minded hackers.
The River consists of over anonymous individuals, each designated as "Charon" with an ascending number, i.e. "Charon 1" through "Charon I". A member with a normal Arabic numeral is considered a "normal" user, whereas a member with a Roman numeral (i.e. VI) is a member of The Circle. It appears that The Circle calls the final shots in The River, and that members of The River will obey their every command.
The River specializes in many things; mainly hacking, kidnapping, human trafficking, extortion, and torture. They mostly create snuff and torture videos/photos of women and men.
The River has corrupt law enforcement on their side, who sometimes use the power of law to execute victims for The Circle.
The River is an new upcoming Deep Web organization that is slowly getting to its way in Karakura City.
They do not show themselves in public, they are the best planners of all planners and they do not do things without thinking first.
