Describe your activity on SchoolRP:
I am usually on SRP whenever I can be! Every night after my real-life job I hop on for about 5 to 7 hours, on my days off I usually tend to play all day. I have genuinely been enjoying playing with the friends I have made and doing family roleplay as well in game, sometimes it's hard to log off!

Describe your roleplay experience with SchoolRP and other roleplay networks in general:
While I have only been on SRP for about 3 months, I have played for a total of 2 weeks, 2 days, 14 hours, and 57 minutes as of writing this, and have had some of the best roleplay scenarios I have ever had. I have been roleplaying in general since I was in 5th grade up to my senior year of high school. After high school I kinda stopped roleplaying due to life happening, though I did do a few SMPs here and there where I would roleplay. SRP is a different experience to SMPs though, and honestly, I have had so much fun with the roleplay here. So basically I have been roleplaying for over 10 years, I am 22 now.

What are your current roles on SchoolRP:
[Grade-9] Rowan B. Kaede
[Grade-12] Quinn Blackwood
[Dog] Xuán Cinnamon
[Grade-12] Astrid Lærke Ødegård
[Grade-12] Solunrae J. Aetheris
[Grade-12] Xuán Shén Huǒ
[Grade-10] Artemis Attikidai
[Grade-12] Kanashii Haruki

What is the subject you want to teach?

TRIVIA SECTION

What is your motivation for becoming a professor?
I won’t lie and say I’m not after money on the server, however beyond money I have this urge for something more, I want more roleplay experience and more scenarios I can play around with, and being a professor gives me just that, it gives me a way to interact more with not just my friend group but a bunch of other people I haven’t interacted with on the server. And that’s what excites me the most, is roleplaying with a bunch more people and having more roleplay scenarios I can work with. I know personally I get excited when I see some of my favorite teacher characters, such as Moriel Maeng, Aloise Tellybellton, and even one professor- Benicious A. Watcher. Those three always stick out to me, and genuinely- It would be fun as hell to be able to interact with them more as a professor character!

Work out two interactive classes you will host if accepted:
1. We will play a game of Bias and stereotyping. There will be one to three students in the room who have done something wrong and the other students will have to vote on which student they think did it, the teacher will give hints of who might have done it, and then ask “Well, who do you think could have done it?” and when everyone is done answering, he will reveal, “None of them did it! So let's talk about why you assumed they did!”

2.The students are given 3 roles, the teacher, the test subject, and the student. The teacher, the test subject, is given a button, and the experiment is explained as follows: Every time the student answers the wrong answer, the teacher will tell the test subject to press a button. Every time the test subject presses the button, that Students grade is lowered. Sometimes the teacher will mix in wrongs with rights. At the end of the experiment, the teacher will ask the test subject why he listened to him even if they knew that some of those answers were right and went ahead and pressed the button lowering the other's grade anyway. Then at the end, he will explain that the student's grade was never in actual jeopardy, that it was just an experiment to see if the test subject would listen to the instructions given to them even if they went against their better judgment. This is a lot like the real-life experiment of the Milgram study, but instead of shocking a student, we are “lowering” their grade. To the students not participating, the teacher will have them take notes such as “Did you notice any hesitation” or “What would you have done in this scenario”

Work out a field trip (meaning a class outside school grounds) you will host if accepted:
I would take the students out to the plaza, there I would have the students observe other people's interactions with each other, they would be separated in groups or made to go solo and observe others body language, emotional expressions, and what people do when they are alone, they might be given a task to watch for group behavior and nonverbal communication as well. Then when we get back together as a group, we will discuss what they observed and reflect on how the environment and social settings can influence our behaviors.

SCENARIO SECTION
Your character would encounter a group of college jocks surrounding a bobcat jock, what would your character do?

Kanashii would be seen very anxious, however he would still try to step between the students and say, “C-Can you guys' n-not do that? Y-you should not b-be ganging u-up on someone w-who is younger than you” if it escalates any further, he will use the intercom to try and get some backup to help out.

Your character would be supervising detention, one of the students constantly disturbs by asking stupid questions, what would your character do?
Kanashii would probably acknowledge the questions and try to answer them in a positive kind, in fact he might even turn it into a psychology lesson depending on what the dumb questions are, he would still encourage the students to do their detention homework afterwards. If they refuse, he will probably tell them it's not worth it to continue their banter as it's wasting everyone's time including theirs, if it goes out too far, he will get SLT if need be.

Your character would be hosting a class, and a group of cheerleaders keeps on playing songs on the phone and calling out other students in the class, what would your character do?
He would hesitantly walk towards them and then give a little cough and then say something like, “I-I'm sorry t-to interrupt your f-fun but if y-you wouldn’t mind- P-please turning your phone off and n-not yelling mid-class…” and maybe he would take this as a way to teach a psychology lesson in turn by starting off telling every student to get out a sheet of paper and have them track how often they pick up their phones in an hour, then discuss what prompts it! taking this as prime opportunity to teach the students a valuable lesson!

Your character would be walking on the school perimeter and encounter a fight between a couple of students, your character tried to break it up but it didn't help, what would your character do?
Kanashii, as anxious as he would be, would call for backup, if it gets to the point of calling SLT he would. He would stay there until backup or SLT arrived, trying to calmly de-escalate the situation. While he's not the bravest person, he will try and jump in to separate the group if needed, even if it won't mean much. After everything is handled, He will try and help whoever got injured and help bring them to the nurse's office. If he noticed anyone run away from getting into trouble, he will try and identify the person to the best of his abilities to report to higher authorities.

CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE

Tell us everything you know about the character you will be playing in a few paragraphs. What do they look like? What makes them unique and different? What is their outlook on Students? What about the other teachers? What is their personality like? What is their plan for the future?

Kanashii is a 27-year-old male, he has long black hair that is tied into a low ponytail. He stands at about 5 feet and 5 inches tall. He is usually dressed in something that makes him look soft and kindhearted, aka overalls or sweaters with long sleeves. What makes Kanashii different than most of the other staff is that he is an absolute WIMP, while he will try to defend other students, right after everything is over, he will have an absolute meltdown from all the pent-up anxiety from the situation. He loves his students! And he loves the other teachers around as well! However, a lot of the students do kind of scare him because of how loud they can be. Kanashii is very sweet! He isn’t super strict or anything, he is kind of the exact opposite of strict, he is scared of being mean cause it means people won't like him, which will end up with him overthinking over and over and over again, so he tries his best to be nice. His plan for the future is to be a great teacher that students will love.

Describe how your character ended up becoming a teacher and their previous life. It is optional to include earlier life but recommended.
Make sure this is over 100 words.

Kanashii's plans for his life didn’t always include becoming a teacher. Kanashii grew up in a small midwest town, relatively 3.5 hours away from Tokyo, called Kurashiki. Kanashii was always a fragile, emotional child. He would be the first one to cry about anything. A class pet died? He would cry, End of the school year. He would cry, Saw a dead squirrel on the street? He would cry.

Kanashii is the type of person who carries his emotions on his sleeves… and his backpack, and probably his overalls too-. His family could never get over the fact that he felt so much all of the time, in fact, they sometimes lashed out at him for being such a crybaby, which- of course made him cry even more.

When he graduated, he immediately left for college, he initially went in for Psychology. The reason he took Psychology is because he wanted to get to know why he felt the way he did all the time. Along the way, he also minored in Sociology, Creative writing, and Journalism.

His initial plans were to become a the****** for children, helping those who may be exactly like him! Though while volunteering at a youth center, he found that he enjoyed teaching, more than he ever thought he would. He didn’t care for the grades or paperwork, but he loved making the kids feel safe, enjoyed making them laugh, and helping them learn more about their emotions and feelings in a school setting.

So after finishing his initial degree, he went back for a second degree in teaching. He almost dropped out twice due to how hard the courses were, and how much he cried throughout the whole thing, but he pushed through. He ended up working up to his doctorate degree and finishing it.

Kanashii during his 8 years of school, also worked a job and an internship at the same time, despite how stressful it was. Kanashii interned for a children's clinic, observing therapy sessions and taking notes. Most of the people here loved Kanashii due to his gentle, nonjudgemental nature. When he went back for his second degree he did a teacher internship where he had to deal with a bunch of rowdy kids. And yes- he did cry about it…. A lot- tottttally not in a janitor's closet. When he finished college Kanashii tried teaching out in the big city for about a year but found it unnerving in the best words to describe it- there was too much of everything, lights, noise, and not only all that, the population was booming with more people than it had initially when he first moved there.

Kanashii figured it might be best for him to find somewhere else, somewhere that's a bit quieter. So, when he saw an opening at Karakura, he applied without any thought, really wanting to get away from the bustling city of Tokyo. He has high hopes of having a better life here in Karakura.
