In your own words, why do you think professors are important to SchoolRP? :

Professors are a crucial member of the teaching world for not only teaching college students but for being those students' protectors while they are out of their parent/s' or guardians' sight. Professors are experts who mentor and inspire their students, aiming to guide those students through complex subjects while fostering critical thinking and shaping the future of young minds and career opportunities.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive, you may face demotion or removal from the faction? :
Yes. I aim to be as active as physically possible, which is VERY active.
Do you understand that if your application is accepted, you may have to undergo professor training? :
I do, if I were to get accepted, which I hope I am, I look forward to learning from everyone.

Interviewer: "Let's just start this off with a little introduction. So, what is your name?"
Lucas: "Yes, my name is Lucas Quinn Boone."
Interviewer: "Okay, next, how do you identify yourself?
Lucas: "I am a CIS white male, and I go by he/him."
Interviewer: "Perfect, now if you'd please state your age and preferred name!"
Lucas: "Okie then, I am twenty-seven years old, and I go by Luka to others but Mr. Boone to students."
Interviewer: "Do you have any religious background, or are you a part of any religion?"
Lucas: "I was raised Christian, but I do not follow any belief system. I am open to any that seem to speak to me."
Interviewer: "This question isn't that important, but I have to ask, are you married?"
Lucas: "No, I am not. I do someday hope to find the right person."
Interviewer: "What is your nationality, and have you been in Karakura long?"
Lucas: "I am American. I moved here from Oklahoma to be close to family."
Interviewer: "I see, in terms of moving to be close to family, what job do you aim to get to support yours?"
Lucas: "I aim to be an Art Professor. My hobbies as a child were taking photos, so I would like to try to encourage others to view the art of photography."
Interviewer: "Okay, last couple of questions. Please try to describe yourself."
Lucas: "Well, I view myself as a supportive, determined, and observant person."
Interviewer: "Last two and we will be done. What makes you unique, or rather what about you is unique?"
Lucas: "At a young age, I suffered a lot of issues with my body. I eventually was diagnosed with gigantism, which is basically that I am a lot taller than I am supposed to be. At a young age, I went through much torment and bullying because of it, but now I can live with my flaws."
Interviewer: "I am so sorry you had to go through all that. I am glad you have overcome and come out with a stronger mindset."
Interviewer: "Right last question, what are your plans for the future?"
Lucas: "In all honesty, I plan to be happy, married, and have kids of my own someday. I know that is a little cliché, but it's the truth."
Interviewer: "Right, that seems to be- OH! Never mind three more questions, sorry."
Lucas: "Okie then, question away."
Interviewer: "Can you tell us a short story about your past? I understand that in some cases, that can be difficult for some, but I would appreciate it if you could."
Lucas: "Hmm, well, as i stated earlier I have gigantism which is a rare genetical condition, I was diagnosed with this condition as a child, my growth became an issue when it came to my health so my parents took me to the hospital when we was around the age of four so they can figure out "What is wrong with him". After extensive research, physical therapy, and observation, it was safe for the doctors at the time to officially diagnose me with gigantism. With this information, my life did not come without challenge/s. My parents and I were subject to judgment from family, friends, and random people passing by, "The kid taller than his parent," which caused me to gain insecurities in my younger years.
Interviewer: "That must have been really troubling for you AND your parents. I am deeply sorry you all had to go through such pain. The next question is on how your outlook is when it comes to students and your co-workers?"
Lucas: "It is okay, and it is entirely in the past now. When it comes to students, I don't just want to teach them; I want to create a safe environment where they can express themselves through different forms of art. If that were music, painting, drawing, or even taking photos. My students' thoughts and feelings will be listened to and acknowledged."
Interviewer: "Well, now we have come to the actual final question. It has been nice getting to know stuff about you, Lucas, but here is where our interaction ends. What is your motivation to be a professor?"
Lucas: "You see, I don't want to be motivated, I want to create motivation. I aim to create a classroom that is welcoming to all forms of art, style, and perspectives. If I were to say what my motivation is to be, I'd say that it is to shape, nurture, and guide young people to their goals."

Roleplay Scenarios

A jock is ignoring your lesson and throwing paper balls at another student. What would your character do?
Depending on how severe it is from the start, I'd say he would ignore low-level silliness. If it were to escalate, then he'd start to give private warnings, such as move them from the seat they were originally at to another, in hopes that would calm things down. If this student or these students continue, he'd go to a verbal warning. "If this continues, you will be out of this classroom, and your parents or guardians will be contacted."
A student doesn’t seem to understand the material, yet hasn’t requested help. What would your character do?
To help a struggling student, I'd try and observe their situation and try and see if there are hints of confusion with their facial expressions, or even if there were unprompted fidgeting. He would try to use examples that seem easier to those who can not fully understand too difficult scenarios. Overall, he'd keep to a sympathetic and understanding view of said student/s while trying to aid them with better versions of understanding.
When in the faculty lounge, how does your character act?
I'd say he would act professionally, and he would communicate with his co-workers despite differences in teaching. He would ask about how others' classes were and even offer support to those who are in need of help with their classes.
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas and one field trip idea related to your subject:
1:
Photography, I would like for the students to get out and about on school grounds to get a better perspective on the world by using their camera lens.
2: Art through feelings, allowing the students to let out their feelings through art, via music, painting, drawing, or even theatrical experiences.
Field Trip: I would take them outside of the school to let their artistic creativity fly wild on paper or on their devices, places such as the beach, the zen garden, or the park. Allowing them a sense of freedom when it comes to art and portraying themselves through art, despite their surroundings.
