PENDING;
Describe your activity on the server:
If I had to put my activity on a scale from 1 to 10, it’d be sat on a solid 7. This is for countless reasons.
It’s not new that I’m heavily involved in CrimeRP – the Delinquent Roleplay side of it all – in fact, I’d go as far as to say im the only leading reason for it still being around. Due to this, it forces me to uphold a consistent activity streak which I’ve yet to let up. It also pushes me to keep up a good reputation on the server, which I’ve worked hard to uphold as well.
Outside of this, I’m active in general on the server, from just being around to taking part in various other forms of Roleplay; YakuzaRP and at times, SportsRP too, though as of now I’m not in any team.
However, it’s 7 for a reason. The remaining 3 is taken up due to OOC commitments, e.g. College, Personal Life. As we are on the subject, College starts up next month which will bring my take up a little of my time, but it’ll keep it around the same activity scale.
APPLICATION INFORMATION
What position are you applying for?:
Governor
What is your motivation for applying?:
There are various reasons that boost my motivation for making this application. One of many being the fact that I’ve had little chance to act out roleplay in a faction. I had my sparse time in the School Employee Faction, but it was only for a month or so. Outside of that, I’ve never had much chance to really get involved in a faction.
My second reason being, Lore. I’d like to continue some character progression and lore for the person I’ll be applying as, and going into the Government Faction will surely help with that.
As well as these points, I’ve also never much got to interact with the Government Faction, I’ve seen trials and it always seems fun, and that is something that seems to be overlooked these days in Roleplay. This is one of my big motivations; it looks fun, and I want to give it a shot, despite my not-so-great experience with the subject revolving around the faction.
Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:
After countless re-reads, yes, I hold a basic understand on Karakura’s Laws and Constitutional rights. However; this is merely basic. I still have ways to go in learning everything by heart, but I hope this is something you allow me to do as i progress into the faction. After-all, it’s all a learning curve.
What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:
If we’re being straightforward, then I cannot say I’ll remain in the faction for the rest of my time on SRP, it souly depends on how my life goes, if I feel I need to go inactivity, I will. If I feel I need to take a step away from the faction entirely, I will. But my goals for now remain as they are, joining, and using this as a chance to progress my character forward into his lore.
In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:
Mayor;
The Mayor’s role is to make certain that there is peace within Karakura. They do this by making the hard choices, and as the acting overseer. This goes from making the difficult decisions, enforcing new laws, and setting a good example to the City as the face of Karakura.
Deputy Mayor;
They are the assistant to the Mayor – fulfilling the duties that are overwhelming the Overseer from a supporting role. They are the Mayor’s lifeline so to speak; when a job needs finishing or tasks handling, it is the Deputy’s Job to see to it personally that they are doen without delay.
Judge;
The Courtroom Overseer. It is the Judge’s duty to ensure appropriate behaviour in court, as well as to give the final verdict. This responsibility is pushed on both sides of the room, making certain that all is fair. They will settle issues within the courtroom, they can give out warrants to the Karakura’s Police Department, and a more minor role is to officiate marriages, divorces and adoptions.
Lawyer;
It is the Lawyer’s role and job to defend their client in the courtroom to the set standards of the Law. They would offer guidance to their client and keep up good appearances as a Citizen of Karakura Law. They must also attend all trials that dictate their client's future.
Governor;
The role of the Governor is mostly seen within the Town Hall, handling a leading role at the front desk. Their responsabilities hold a great sum; issueing Identification, businesses and shop inspections, confirming organisation events and they can also attend trials.
Do you acknowledge that upon being accepted you can be subject to removal at any given time?:
Yes. I comletely understand that at any given time I can be removed from the faction. This is in cases such as unapproved inactivity, rule breaking, etc.
Have you read & agreed to follow the Government Faction rules?:
Yes. I have read, and re-read the Government Faction rules, and I agree to follow them.
IN CHARACTER SECTION
Full name:
The individual sat on a sofa in a box-like room, the walls felt close, almost airtight, his eyes left to peer at the floor instinctively. This environment wasn’t anything new, but it certainly drowned him out into a state that couldn’t be described as anything other than simply ‘zoning’ out. It was a sharp-toned voiced that cut him out of it.
“Mr. Tsuburaya? Is it?”
The so-called Tsuburaya nodded, leaning forward from the cushioning off the sofa, arms bent on his knees as his foot tapped against the floor.
“Yes. Tsuburaya... Nishiki, Tsuburaya.”
Preferred title (Mr., Mrs., etc.):
The employee sat opposite Tsuburaya seemed to bob their head, clicking the biro pen and jotting something down on a note board. Must’ve been a thing they do before putting them into the System. And then, the individual reinforced the question.
“Mr? I got that correct, yeah?... It IS Mr, right?”
Nishiki Tsuburaya tilted his head, pushing the glasses further up the bridge of his nose as he nodded, his fingertips fiddling.
“Yeah, you got it right. It’s Mr. Tsuburaya.”
He said with a bitterly sharp tongue, his hands moving to sit on his knees, his mind reeling like a whirlpool on how many interviews he’s done by now, all for a job.
Current age:
The interviewer took little time before noting that down on the thin piece of paper that clung to the note board, clicking their thumb against the biro pen once again, setting it aside momentarily. They met eye-contact, nodding slowly as the next question already seeped out the employee’s mouth.
“And, your age?”
Tsuburaya’s eyes were bitter, the kind which have seen things. Terrible things. But, this city. Karakura, it was prone to violence. It was a language that had become second nature, and for that very reason is why he sits here today – he answered the question.
"I’m 27. .”
Date of birth:
As they both sat on their designated sofa’s, the airtight boxed room only proceeded to get to him, he tugged at the collar of his shirt slightly. He didn’t want this job, he needed it.
“And, when were you born?”
The employee questioned, picking up the biro pen once more.
“My date of birth. . It’s 11th January.”
He said, his words sounded out with little hesitation, but the brief pause he took only proved that there was more about him than meets the eye. Why pause at all? What on earth could he have to pause about? Of course it was real date of birth, but that only gives fewer reasons to pause at such a question.
Gender:
Nishiki Tsuburaya removed his hands off his knees, leaning back into the sofa as he attempted to ease up, his head dipping back into the cushions. And then, without little time to recollect himself, yet another question was tossed at him.
“Your gender is. .?”
Nishiki knew that on the contrary of what many think from a far enough glance, he was a man. His long raven black hair cascaded his back and front shoulders, and it gave off the feminine impression, but he far from it.
“I’m a man.”
And for that reason, the answer came out without hesitation. Nishiki Tsuburaya’s hands moved into the pockets of his trousers, trying to find some comfort.
Academic Degree:
Several seconds passed by, chewed away by time. Each one felt longer than the last, the sound of the Interviewers pen jotting against the note board poured on a sense of hesitation. And then, finally, after long-lasting seconds, the Employee moved on.
“Alright. Thank you. Let’s move onto your Academics. . What about your Degree?”
Nishiki Tsuburaya exhaled shakily, discreet behind his stoic facial features as he’d nod. He leant further back into the sofa as he spoke, and more than happy too as well. This was something he spent almost all his life to, so, to speak on it felt right.
“I. . I have a Masters in Legal Studies.”
He said, itching his nose for a moment before bringing his hand back into his pocket.
Major(s):
The interviewer seemed to jot that down too, nodding as they wrote it, their eyes peering back up above the board as their next question was practically tossed at Tsuburaya.
“And, what about your Majors on the subject?”
Tsuburaya’s head tilted, his eyelids fluttering for a moment as he recalled all the years he spent in College, it all lead to this. . This defining moment of his life.
“Of course. Yeah, I have a Major in Criminal Justice, and one on Administrative Law.”
Minor(s):
Nishiki Tsuburaya’s attention panned away, staring at whatever else could distract him from the hesitation he seemed to pick up from the claustrophobic feeling that etched into his head. Eventually, he found his way back to steady breathing, discreetly.
“Okay, what about your Minors?”
Tsuburaya’s gaze came crawling back, he’d been reeled in by the question, his attention souly focused back on the Employee.
“Right, yeah. Sorry... I, uh. I have a Minor on Business Law.”
He’d add on to his previous record off academic achievements. He’d had quite the time at College, despite his. . Otherwise, unknown phase of rebellious actions. But, that was merely a secret that was layered beneath his skin, known only to himself, and a few.
Work experience:
Tsuburaya seemed to calm, his nerves eased and his fiddling hands settled as they intertwined, sat on his knees as he kept eye contact without hesitation. Quick enough, the next question came at him, as if a trivia.
“Okay. Good to know... And, what about Work Experience? Had any placements over the years?”
Tsuburaya wasn’t sure if this question would pop up, but he was glad it did. And so he answered with pride and joy.
“Yes, actually! I went away for a while to the mainland to Tokyo to study under a program with the University of Tokyo, worked under a Law firm there for a while... Got some good experience in, and it was eye opening for me.”
He spoke with conviction, his words laced with solemnity.
Nationality & born location:
The interview room was filled with momentary silence, nothing but the sound of an ongoing trial currently in progress filled the background. He leaned off the sofa, finally sitting upright, his hands took the glass of water that was left on the side all this time, gradually taking a sip and putting it down as the next question approached, well, two.
“Could you tell me about your Nationality, and where you was born?”
Tsuburaya nodded. His hands etched against his cheek as he itched it, only bring them back to his knees moments later.
“Yeah, so. I’m Japanese, and I’m actually from Karakura, born and raised. I only went to Tokyo for that Work Experience Program.”
Fluent languages (Underline your native):
As the Interview neared its end, Tsuburaya sat patiently, waiting for the next question as the clock ticked away at each passing second. He eventually readied himself for the next incoming question.
“Alrighht, then! Any other languages aside from your native one?”
The Interviewer asked, their brow furrowing as they tapped one end of the biro pen against note board, waiting for an answer.
“Uh, no. Just Japanese. But, I’m trying to learn Sign Language, but thats a work in progress.”
The Interviewer just nodded, jotting that down on the piece of paper.
Criminal record:
Their stare lingered seconds longer as they’d briefly peered at the page, their voice came out sharp and a strong tone. Like, this wasn’t a optional answer.
“Any Criminal Record?”
Tsuburaya stared back, squinting slightly. At first thought, he could think of several crimes from a past time that he’d long forgotten, but, he was no longer that man. That Delinquent – it was merely a phase, and luckily, he had people to help get him out of it alive, and thankfully, all while none of it was on any sort of criminal record, and so, he answered just as solemnly as the Interviewer, a bitter expression guiding him, despite it not being the truth.
“No. . . No criminal record.”
The Interviewer kept the gaze, in-fact the eye contact went onto intensify, as if there was a flicker of uncertainty in the employee’s head. And so, they reinforced the question.
“You sure?”
Tsuburaya’s brows furrowed, uncertain if the Employee was asking, or accusing him of something, a past action, a crime? But, at the end of the day, he knew it was just their job, and procedure.
“Deadly.”
He replied, little to nothing else being said.
What makes you a good candidate for this job?
The Employee seemed to put the board down, going off-script as they looked him in the eye. Tsuburaya pushed his glassed back up the bridge of his nose.
“What makes you cut out for this job? I want to know what makes you tick, what makes you get up in the morning.”
They declared, it seemed they wanted to know what exactly made Nishiki Tsuburaya carry on with the day at hand. And, it was quite an easy question to answer, despite all considered.
“Because. I have too. It’s just me. And, If I don’t get up, and carry on for my sake, nobody else will. Not anymore. I’m not some glorified guy with a sob story, I get up simply because that’s life.”
He said with a bitter tongue, his words kissed his teeth for a moment as he leaned up, hands resting on his knees once more. The Employee didn’t speak, yet they still responded – a nod. They picked up the note board, turning it around to face me, and offering the biro pen, they said:
“Alright, your signature here, please.”
Nishiki Tsuburaya’s attention panned from the interviewer and then to the note board and biro pen, he took them both with a nod of his own, jotting his signature down onto its designated location, handing it back.
All final greetings and send offs were given before Nishiki finally made his exit, dispersing from the premises.
