Describe your activity and roleplay experience on the server:

I've roleplayed for years, including but not fully limited to just Minecraft, on different sorts of applications like Discord and Roblox. As a child I used to be obsessed with roleplay videos like SkyDoesMinecraft with his 'Roommates' series or Aphmau with her 'Minecraft Diaries' or 'Phoenix Drop High' series. I also enjoyed roleplay through Roblox servers, if I could name them all I would, but we would be here forever. Though spending time with my brother on them is one of my core memories of my entire childhood. Roleplaying different scenarios gives me joy like no other, from creating characters and fleshing out their stories.

While I have never been one for getting into GangRP, I have been able to experience other levels of the aspect of the server. Most of my friends on the server are a part of different factions including teachers, school faculty, professors, paramedics, government and even sports. I have enjoyed being able to interact with these different communities.

Despite just joining the server in 2025, I believe I have the experiences that give me an advantage on being a part of the professor's faction and that if I am accepted, I will be able to show you my commitment to being a part of your faction.

In your own words, why do you think professors are important to SchoolRP?

I believe that professors play an important role on the SRP server for a network of reasons. The role that they have in Karakura is as important as any other faction on this server, because while giving college students an enhanced experience of roleplay, they also must juggle the rules of the server to make sure everything is running smoothly. Professors are responsible for providing the students of Karakura with a higher education and providing them with opportunities to advance their characters into a higher level of study. Be that bachelor, master's or a doctorate. They are expected to hold themselves to a higher standard for the students at school.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive, you may face demotion or removal from the faction?
Yes, I acknowledge this.

Do you understand if your application is accepted, you may have to undergo professor training?:
Yes, I acknowledge this.

In-Character Information

What's your character's full name?

As the man entered the room, he would give a small bow. His hand rested against his stomach as he did so. As he lifted his head and took a seat across from the interviewer, his voice would come strong and clear. "Thank you for giving me this opportunity. My name is Angelos Xydis. It's a pleasure to meet you.” His voice would be low, almost calm as he let a small smile tug at his lips.

Age (Minimum is 27):
As the question left the interviewer's lips, he would give a slight nod, adjusting himself to sit straight in the chair "I was born March 14th, 1980. I am 45 years old, about to be 46."

Nationality:
His hand raised and pressed onto the table, he would place down a passport and ID. "I am from Thessaloniki, Greece. My wife and I moved here when our oldest were around thirteen so they could have a more uplifting experience in both countries."

Preferred Subject:
His smile only grew as his hands slid back into his lap. "My preferred subject would be History under your social sciences division seeing that is what I studied in college. Specifically the Greek side."

Describe the character: How do they look and act? What makes them unique and different? What are their plans for the future? Optionally, what is their past?

PAST

Angelos grew up in the northern city of Thessaloniki, Greece to his parents Penelope and Girogos. He was born with his two brothers Cassius and Myron, him being the second oldest of the three. Despite knowing his parents loved the three of them, they tended to not be as attentive, causing more trouble to come to the three of them. Angelos tended to be the hardest worker of the three brothers, doing anything he could to make sure he and his brother had more than was needed. Be that selling newspapers that he found on the side of the street at 10 or bussing tables in local restaurants at 14. As he grew up in Greece with a lot of history surrounding his culture, he fell deeply in love with the myths, architecture, and art around him.

He watched his oldest brother Cassius get the least love due to the fact of him being the oldest and his troubling behavior. Cementing the idea that he would never make his children fight for scraps of attention like him and his brothers had to do.

As he grew older, he grew into a more refined man, with warm eyes and broad shoulders, tattoos adorning his body mostly related to Greek myths. While in college for his master's degree in History and his minor in Education he met his now wife, Calanthe. They dated from 19 to 23 and got married at 23, having kids shortly after at the age of 27 while they were both pursuing their careers. Raising triplets and twins at such a young age while having a fulltime job was no easy feat, but he loved his wife and children more than anything, often spending most days after teaching them. He is caring and understanding, often never using violence or harm to another person. He tends to give people the benefit of the doubt before anything due to his past.

When his children were the age of 12, one of his children came out to him as transgender which while throwing his world into an aspect he never even thought about, causing him to want to learn more. Giving himself a better idea of what was happening. He tended to give his sons a more inviting and shoulder to lean on.

UNIQUENESS
What gives Angelos a uniqueness about him is how much of a hard-worker he is for the things that he wants. Having a passion for different types of history, he studied in college. Having children, that being a set of triplets and a set of twins, he is more patient than most. With his upbringing, he gives him a better chance of understanding people and their emotions.

FUTURE
Angelos plans his future surrounding his wife and children, wanting what's best for them while trying to keep them out of trouble. He wants to improve his ability to teach while adapting to the areas where he is not the most confident in his skill. He wants to teach his sons all about love and positivity, making sure they grow up into productive members of society.

What is their outlook on students and their co-workers?
Angelos outlook on his students and his co-workers is that he holds them all in high regards. He isn't one who will quickly write someone's ideas off, he is more than happy to hold a conversation with someone. He tends to be more introverted, but when around his wife, he turns into a more extroverted and happy man.

What is their motivation for becoming a professor?:
His motivation for becoming a professor is to uplift the people around him. Despite his past with his family, he tended to use the art and history of his home country to escape. Falling in deep love with the past and how different places had their own respective ways of building and telling stories. Most of the time when people around him see him, his nose is often in a book about different cultures and their pasts, trying to understand the cultural change around him.

Roleplay Scenarios

A jock is ignoring your lesson and throwing paper balls at another student, what would your character do?
A small frown would appear on his lips as he made his way towards the disruptive student, a calmness in his tone as he spoke. "Please refrain from distracting classmates, I am respectful of your time, so please be respectful of theirs. This will be your first warning." If the student continued their little rebel, a small sigh would escape the mans lips as he walked over, sliding the detention slip onto the table "I've given you plenty of chances. Please be there on time."

A student doesn’t seem to understand the material, yet hasn’t requested help, what would your character do?
Seeing the frustrated look on the students face he would make his way over, seeming like he was just doing a quick walkthrough of the class before leaning over, a small smile on his face as he would ask the student if he needed help quietly. After class a one-on-one would be offered to the student to let them know that he is always there to help as he offers more guidance on the subject.

When in the faculty lounge, how does your character act?
Angelos sits in the corner with a cup of coffee, a book placed in front of him on the table, which seems to be full of Greek statues and artifacts. A pile of papers sitting beside him neatly organized. Seeing his wife walking in through the door a smile would grace his lips as he happily chatted with her about her classes and day, listening intently as she spoke and taking in every word like it was poetry.

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas and one field trip idea related to your subject

Interactive Class #1 :
Greco-Persian War

As the college students settled into their seats, Angelos was standing at the front of the classroom with a smile on his face. In his hands were medium sized torn pieces of paper. "Hello students! Today we are going to have a fun class. This lesson is going to be about the Greco-Persian Wars!" he walked around the class, giving each other them a piece of paper that either had 'Greek' or 'Persian' on it. "This all began because of Cyrus the Great conquering the Greek region of Ionia! Now, im gonna split you up on either side of the room and your gonna sit on your side. You will choose one person on YOUR team to go and pick someone on the other side." his smile would fall as he shrugged "this shows you what war brings, your friends, your classmates, the people you may or may not know. How war tears countries apart."

Interactive Class #2 : Greek Heroes

Angelos stood at the front of his class with his arms held wide open in excitement "Hello my favorite students! Today we are going to have a really fun class about Greek Heros, while most of them are in writing. There are some that have been sculpted into statues to give art historians like me another angle to see!" His smile would only brighten as he went on and on about Greek hero's and how statues show us different artists outlooks on differing stories. "now, with all that being said, I'm going to give you a small tile." he reached back grabbing a small clay tile into his hand before holding it up to show the class. "I want you to do your best to create your own story based off either a Greek hero of your choice, or one that you choose to make the story of! The day is yours!"

Field Trip : Models to Statues

As the class started, Angelos was basically vibrating with excitement, giving a clap of his hands as the students settled in their seats. "Today, we are in for a real treat! We are going to be taking a field trip to the forest to get us all out of school and get some fresh air! I'm feeling a little cooped up." he grabbed his class door keys and walked towards the door "When we get to the forest, we are going to be doing something productive! I am going to split you up into 4 groups, choose a person from your group and they are going to be our statue! Then the rest of you are going to sketch them in these books I will give you!"

When they got to the forest, Angelos would begin to hand over the notebooks with a wide smile on his face, always happy to be there, splitting them up into groups and letting them choose a statue. "Now, before we start this I need you to put yourself in the headspace that you are a sculptor because that's you know.. kind of the whole point! Think of being a ancient Greek, what are you feeling, what is driving you forward?"
