OOC INFORMATION:

Describe your activity on the server:
I am highly active on the server and available throughout most of the day. My time zone is EST, and my primary hours of activity range from 2 PM to 4 AM. I have mainly focused on crime RP and gang RP, developing a strong understanding of the criminal underworld within the server. Recently, however, I have taken steps to expand my roleplay experience by joining the Shrine internship, allowing me to explore new facets of roleplay beyond crime.

Specify your Discord username (USER#0000) and if you have a microphone:
My Discord username is demonasuna. I do not have a microphone, but I am highly comfortable using other OOC communication methods to effectively collaborate with my team.

Specify your country of origin and time zone:
I am from the United States, and my timezone is Eastern Standard Time (EST).

What are your motivations in applying for the black market dealer role?:
The secrecy and high-stakes nature of the Black Market Dealer (BMD) role immediately intrigued me, but after deeper research, I came to appreciate just how vital the black market is to the criminal and gang RP scene. The network it creates—supplying weapons, facilitating deals, and working behind the scenes—is an integral part of the ecosystem that keeps crime RP immersive and engaging.

I have extensive experience in crime RP, having been involved in numerous gangs, including a verified gang. In addition, I have personally dealt with the transportation of illegal in-game weapons and have a large collection of custom weapons and masks I had created in December 2023. I find the business and logistics aspect of the black market especially engaging, as well as the opportunity to strategically collaborate with gangs to help them plan events, acquire necessary resources, and expand their influence.

Ultimately, I hope to bring a fresh perspective to the role, using my creativity and experience to enhance crime RP on the server while operating within the structured and secretive nature of the BMD organization.

What helps you to stand out from other applicants & what can you uniquely provide to the team?:
I believe I stand out because of my firsthand experience running my own underground weapons trade. While this was purely a passion project—not for profit—it gave me invaluable experience in networking, securing deals, and building connections with both GangRPers and item collectors.

Additionally, I have a deep understanding of how to maintain secrecy, including conducting discreet meetups with clientele while prioritizing security. My extensive knowledge of combat RP and weapon profiles also allows me to adapt to various situations with tactical awareness.

However, I believe that knowledge alone isn’t enough—true success in crime RP comes from understanding that not every battle is meant to be won. I prioritize respect above all else in OOC matters, and my journey through GangRP—starting from the bottom and working my way up—has taught me the value of mentorship and teamwork. I am eager to continue growing and help others navigate crime RP, just as others have guided me.

What previous experience do you have in working with a team?:
OOC Experience: I have real-life leadership experience in charity organizations, where I ran for and won the position of chapter president. In this role, I was responsible for hosting meetings, planning events, and managing finances, all while coordinating with a legislative team to execute large-scale projects.

IC Experience: In-character, I have held higher-up positions in gangs and have even taken on the lead role in specific lore-based criminal projects. I am comfortable organizing teams, planning strategies, and handling negotiations—all of which would translate well into the BMD role.

What suggestions do you have to help better the crime faction?:
While the crime faction is well-structured, I believe there are areas for refinement and balance, particularly in the combat system. As a hardcore League of Legends player, I am accustomed to game balance changes and how they impact the overall experience.

My suggestion is to adjust rolling mechanics based on age, grade, and role—introducing slight variations to make fights more dynamic. Additionally, I propose increasing the KO threshold, allowing combat to last longer and creating more opportunities for strategy and clear advantages to develop over time. These changes could enhance realism and immersion while making crime RP encounters feel less reliant on pure chance and more on tactics and planning.

With the changes to the custom item rules no longer allowing custom weapons to be made I would also additionally propose an in-character method to attain a fresh look to players arsenals. It is to my understanding that many of the Black-Market members have been able to bring something new to the table and I would personally love to work with staff to set up something that is both fair and enjoyable for the community. This would also be a great fit for my character as it is written in her lore that she has personally delt with an organization outside of the Black Market that creates and sells custom weapons.

Are you familiar with all rules pertaining to weapon profiles, combat, permissions, and player conduct on the server?:
Yes, I have read the rules and gained an understanding of all the rules related to weapon profiles, combat, permissions and player conduct.

Are you familiar with that if you leave the black market at any point, the black market lead will have permanent kill permissions on your character?:
Yes, if my character were to leave the black market they would only pose as a loose end for the organization.

Are you familiar with that if your character(s) is/are killed or permanently arrested twice, you will be removed from the black market?:
Yes, I plan on maintaining my secrecy within the organization for this exact reason.

Are you familiar with that you cannot reveal any out-of-character plans or potential addition to the black market to others?:
Yes, when working in a roleplay environment it is crucial that we do all that we can to prevent meta gaming and maintain the level of knowledge people would realistically have in the settings we create!

Describe your character's appearance to the greatest detail:
Asuna Hinata is a striking young woman with black and red dyed hair that falls past her shoulders, her scarlet-brown eyes hold a cold, calculating gaze, hardened by betrayal and loss. Her lean but athletic build reflects years of combat training, and her movements are always precise—like a blade waiting to strike.

She dresses in a mix of traditional and modern attire: fitted red pants, a black haori, and fingerless gloves that hide the callouses from her years of training with a katana. A small silver ring on her left hand is the only memento she kept from her past relationship—a reminder of what she lost when she chose to return to Karakura.

Describe your character's personality to the greatest detail:
Asuna is coldly pragmatic, dangerously intelligent, and fiercely loyal—but only to those who prove themselves worthy of her trust. Her years in the Red Market taught her that family and business do not mix, but she still holds onto the naive hope that she can rebuild bonds that were broken.

She is a calculated strategist, always two steps ahead, ensuring that every move she makes is measured and deliberate. However, her personal vendetta against the Red Market makes her reckless at times, especially when dealing with former associates.

In business, she is professional and meticulous, ensuring that every deal is handled with precision. But in the shadows, she is ruthless—willing to do whatever it takes to bring down those who betrayed her and her brother Hisoka.

Describe your character's backstory to the greatest detail: (200+ words minimum)
Asuna Hinata was born into a legacy of crime, raised within the prestigious yet feared Hinata Clan, a powerful family entrenched in the underground arms trade of Tokyo’s Red Market. From an early age, she and her brother Hisoka were trained not just to fight, but to run an empire—a future built on blood and steel. They would go on to teach and train their younger siblings alongside their parents.

At 18, the siblings were assigned to expand the Red Market’s influence in Karakura, a city brimming with gang activity and untapped potential. For two years, they built a thriving underground network, supplying weapons to gangs and syndicates. But as time passed, Asuna's loyalty to the Red Market waned—she had built a life of her own in Karakura, forming bonds that made the mission of the Red Market feel less like duty and more like a burden.

So, she made a choice. She walked away.

For a while, things were good. Asuna left Karakura, fell in love, and thought she had found a way out of the life she was born into. But the past does not forgive, and neither does the Red Market.

One night, she received a frantic call from her youngest sister Sayaka—her voice barely recognizable through the static and panic. She had been attacked. Forced to kill an assassin. A friend. A fellow Red Market member of an allied family. And she knew more would soon come to finish the deed.

Sayaka's final words to her were a warning—"Stay away from Karakura. The Hinata Clan is falling apart!" But Asuna never listened.

She returned not as a fugitive, but as a soldier. She infiltrated gang after gang, using her brother’s old connections to earn the trust needed to thrive and in doing so, learned about Karakura’s Black Market—an organization much like the Red Market, but free from the chains of her past.

Now, her goal is clear: gain power within the Black Market, amass resources, and prepare for the inevitable war against the Red Market.

Describe an interaction that your character may have as a black market dealer: (This can be anything — a weapon deal, an event they may be involved in, or maybe an interaction with a gang)

"Faker, you got the shipment?"

Faker smirked, leaning against the back of the dimly lit warehouse. The gang member in front of her—one of Parabellums more eager recruits—was visibly anxious, shifting from foot to foot as he eyed the wooden crate at her feet.

Inside, a shipment of modified katanas, serrated at the edge for deeper wounds—crafted for only the most sadistic of warriors.

She crouched down, tapping her fingers against the crate. "You bring the cash?"

The recruit hesitated before pulling out a stack of bills—new, crisp, and far too clean for the hands of a street thug. Faker's eyes flicked to the corner of the warehouse, where a figure lurked in the shadows. A setup.

She sighed, shaking her head. "You Red Market bastards really think I wouldn’t notice?"

In one swift motion, she kicked the crate forward, the force knocking the recruit off balance. Before he could react, her katana was at his throat, the tip pressing just enough to draw a thin line of blood.

"Tell your boss I’m coming for them," she whispered, her voice deadly calm. "And next time? Bring someone better."

Describe any other additional information that is notable in considering your character for the role of a black market dealer: (If inapplicable, put N/A)

Asuna’s deep understanding of the weapons trade makes her an ideal Black Market dealer, capable of not only selling but customizing and modifying weaponry.

Her personal vendetta against the Red Market gives her a unique, revenge-driven motivation, making her more invested than a typical arms dealer.

Her ties to her past organizations provide valuable gang connections, expanding the Black Market’s influence.
