Backstory: Yabuko Parents frequently traveled abroad on business, which ultimately led to them not getting to know their kids well. When he was younger, Yaboku showed no interest in socializing. Although Yaboku's father was worried about his destructive and antisocial behavior, he nevertheless trusted him with his twin sisters, Mairu and Kururi, on their trip overseas. Consequently, Mairu and Kururi have a close relationship with Yaboku. Up until middle school, Yaboku was an excellent student who won numerous awards. In order to learn a language other than Japanese, he also chose to enroll in a Russian language course. He was neither adored nor despised in middle school, though, as he lived out his life philosophy of being neither too close nor too far from the others by withdrawing into himself and preferring to watch everything from a distance. People thought he was a recluse because he spent all of his lunch and afternoon breaks in the library. However, Yaboku relished the opportunity to be isolated.Although he was aware that he was among the best students, he did not regard those around him as foolish or demeaning. Over time, however, Yaboku's observation of people evolved from a simple hobby to a growing obsession. After that, he relocated to Karakura, where he enrolled in Karakura High School to begin his new adventure and enjoyment.
