Zen's childhood was marred by tumult and heartache. His father, a figure of harsh rigidity and discipline, often clashed with the soft warmth of his mother, who was a beacon of love in his turbulent life. Tragically, Zen lost his mother to cancer when he was only six years old—a loss that reverberated through his young heart. His father, unable to cope with the grief or the demands of parenthood, made the painful choice to put Zen up for adoption, unwilling to shoulder the burden of a son who reminded him of all he’d lost.
Zen spent the next two years in an adoption center, feeling an overwhelming sense of abandonment and longing. At the age of eight, he was embraced by the Toussaint family, a warm and nurturing environment where he met his little sister, Lilith. While he chose to retain his name, the love from his new family wrapped around him like a protective cocoon.
From the moment they met, Lilith became the light of his life, igniting a fierce protective instinct within him. She was his anchor, his reason for pushing forward in a world that often felt cruel and chaotic. However, the whispers of his childhood trauma loomed large. Following his diagnosis of autism, Zen was placed in a different class at primary school, leading to the heart-wrenching experience of bullying. Struggling with his identity and social interactions, he sought solace in therapy, but the scars of those years lingered, leaving him with profound attachment issues and anxiety.
As he transitioned to Japan, Zen navigated the complexities of middle and high school, eventually advancing to college. Despite the distance from his adoptive family, his bond with Lilith remained steadfast—until tragedy struck once more. In an unfathomable twist of fate, Lilith passed away, leaving Zen adrift in a sea of grief and rage. Her funeral was a turning point, and he found himself grappling with anger directed at those he believed had robbed him of his sister.
In a desperate attempt to find solace, Zen returned to therapy, but his efforts often felt fruitless. It was during this turbulent period that he crossed paths with Odessa, a girl who resonated with him deeply. Their relationship, however, took a tumultuous turn during a heated argument, where Odessa dismissed Lilith's death as inconsequential. For Zen, this felt like a betrayal, as he projected his unresolved grief onto her, seeing echoes of his lost sister in Odessa. He became fiercely protective of her, as though safeguarding his connection with Lilith through this new friendship, striving to maintain his sanity and hold onto the love he once cherished so deeply.
Through tough years, Odessa found herself drifting from the man who took care of her more and more. His constant trust issues and other violent tendencies became increasingly difficult for her to deal with eventually she left him alone in her old apartment. Sitting in the walls that used to bring him comfort, with piling bills on the counter, he left for the streets to find himself a way to cope and survive.
The new man who stands in the place of the old fragile man that used to stand is a sarcastic man that seems to never be happy enough with anything. he switches from kind to rude to a man who would seem dead in the eyes of most. The few friends that he does keep around seem to only be around due to the use he sees in them.
When he does speak, it rarely makes sense, normally being a blend of many things that should be in conversations of their own. He seems to shift between being nice to some friends and being sarcastic or rude to others, like in every eye he sees, he becomes a new person to shape how they see him. Between unusual hobbies and the silence he normally resides in, he seems to always know something about someone, weither its a really good guess or something else.

(In case the quote and songs are too blurry in the photo, the quote says "GET ME OUT OF HERE" "I wanna go home.. "HUH?!" and the songs are "Lights out" 'This hurts," and "Never want to dance," all by msi)
