Describe your activity on the server:
I'd rate my activity 8/10. I'm on most evenings since I work throughout the day, but I am most active on weekends.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes.
School Employee Role you are applying for?:
Receptionist.
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
A receptionist sits at the front desk helping those that need help around the school. They may exchange stickers for rewards and help students when needed. As the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors entering the school, receptionists greet people and provide assistance with finding their way around, answering questions about classes and schedules, and using the school intercom system to call students to different locations like the reception desk or nurse's office. Receptionists are responsible for managing the front desk area, keeping students from wandering the hall when they should be in class, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. They work closely with other staff members and the SLT to support the smooth operation of the school, and they must remain mature and act as role models for students all times while on the job.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I've been on SchoolRP since 2020 after finding out about the server through a few friends. Over the years, I've gained experience developing my characters, interacting with other players, and participating in various events around the server. I've learned how to stay in character and create engaging roleplay scenarios.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
I've never applied or been involved within the School faction before, but have always been interested in the idea. I think it would be a great opportunity to experience a different side of the server and try out a new role. The receptionist position appeals to me because I'd get to interact with different players and help around the school.

Situations
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
She would remain calm and professional, not letting the student's words get to her. She would firmly but politely tell the student that their language and behavior is inappropriate and unacceptable on school grounds. If the student continues, she would issue them a detention for their disrespectful behavior and use of inappropriate language. If the situation escalates further or the student refuses to cooperate, she would contact a member of SLT for additional support. Throughout the interaction, she would stay composed and handle the situation maturely, as employees are expected to be role models for students.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
She would immediately use the intercom system to call for help from SLT, as physical fights are a serious matter that requires their intervention. While waiting for SLT to arrive, she would loudly tell the students to stop fighting and separate themselves. She would not physically intervene in the fight herself, as that could be dangerous and is outside the receptionist's responsibilities. Once SLT arrives, she would provide any information she witnessed about the fight and let the higher ups handle the disciplinary action. If either student was injured, she would also call the nurse to come assist.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
She would approach the employee privately and express her concern about what they're doing, asking them to stop the dangerous behavior immediately. If the employee doesn't listen or continues acting inappropriately, she would report the situation to a member of SLT so they can handle it properly. She wouldn't ignore the situation since it could put students or staff at risk, but she would handle it professionally and let the higher ups deal with any measures that need to be taken.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
She would be relaxed and friendly with the other employees, using the break room as a chance to unwind from her shift and socialise with her coworkers. She would be respectful of their shared space, cleaning up after herself and being considerate of others who are also on break. She would engage in casual conversation, maybe share stories about her day or get to know the other staff members better. Even though she's off the clock in the break room, she would still maintain a level of professionalism and avoid any behavior that would be inappropriate for a school employee.
Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
/me would be seated behind the front desk, her fingers flipping through a stack of attendance sheets as she organised the morning paperwork. Hearing footsteps approach, she would lift her gaze and tuck a strand of hair behind her ear, offering the student a warm, welcoming smile. Setting her pen down carefully on the desk, she would lean forward slightly. "Good morning! How can I help you today?" she would ask in a friendly tone, giving the student her full attention.
/me would reach beneath the desk with both hands, pulling out a wooden reward sticker box and placing it gently on the counter in front of her. She would unlatch the lid and flip it open, her eyes scanning over the colourful array of prizes inside. Looking back up at the student with an encouraging expression, she would gesture towards the box. "Alright, let's see what catches your eye. How many stickers do you have to exchange?" she would say with a smile, waiting for their response.
/me would reach for the intercom receiver on the desk, wrapping her fingers around the handle and lifting it to her mouth. She would press the call button with her thumb, pausing for a brief moment before speaking clearly into the speaker. "Could [Student Name] please report to the reception desk? [Student Name] to reception, thank you." she would carefully place the receiver back onto it's base, smoothing down her skirt and adjusting the papers on the desk.

Backstory
Margot grew up in a quiet town in the English countryside, where she spent most of her childhood helping out her parents's small community centre. From a young age, she learned the importance of being organised, welcoming, and helpful to others. Her parents always emphasised that making people feel comfortable and valued was one of the most important skills anyone could have, and Margot took that lesson to heart. She was the type of person who always volunteered to help with school events, answer questions for confused classmates, and make sure everyone felt included.
After finishing secondary school Margot pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Communications at a university in London. She enjoyed her studies and particularly excelled in courses that focused on customer service, office management, and interpersonal communication. During her time at university, she worked part time at the student's services desk, where she gained valuable experience managing inquirers, organising paperwork, and assisting students with everything from finding their classrooms to sorting out administrative issues. It was during this job that Margot realised how much she enjoyed being the first point of contact for people who needed help.
After graduating, Margot worked for a few years as a receptionist at a corporate office in London. While the job was stable and professional, she found the environment to be rather cold and impersonal. She missed the sense of community and connection she'd felt when helping students back at university. Margot began to feel unfulfilled and started searching for opportunities that would allow her to make a more meaningful impact on people's lives.
When a friend mentioned they were moving to Karakura, Japan, Margot became curious about the city and it's opportunities. She'd always been interested in Japanese culture and had been studying the language casually for years. After doing some research, she discovered Karakura Highschool was looking for new employees, and the receptionist position immediately caught her attention. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to combine her professional skills with her desire to work in a welcoming, community focused environment. Margot decided to take a chance, moved to Karakura, and applied for the position, hoping to bring her warmth, organisation and dedication to helping others to the school's front desk.
Motivation for Joining KHS:
would lean back in her chair, a thoughtful expression crossing her face as she considered the question. "I've always been drawn to environments where I can make a genuine difference in people's daily lives, and Karakura Highschool seems like the perfect place to do that. Moore would fold her hands on the desk in front of her, speaking with genuine warmth. "Working in a corporate office back in London taught me a lot about professionalism and organisation, but it lacked the sense of community and connection that I've always valued. When I learned about the opportunities here, I was immediately excited about the prospect of being part of a school environment again, where I could help students, staff, and visitors feel welcome and supported every single day."
would smile softly, gesturing as she spoke. "The receptionist role appeals to me because it's more than just answering phones and filing paperwork. . It's about being a friendly face that people can rely on when they need assistance. I want to be someone students feel comfortable approaching when they're lost, confused, or just need a bit of guidance. nodded with conviction. "I believe that small acts of kindness and helpfulness can make a big impact on someone's day, and I'd love to bring that energy to the front desk."
tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, her expression becoming more earnest. "Moving to Karakura has been an exciting new chapter in my life, and I'm eager to become more involved in the community. Joining the faction would allow me to contribute to the school in a meaningful way while doing something I'm genuinely passionate about. sat up a bit straighter, her tone laced with confidence. "I'm ready to take on the responsibility, work alongside the other dedicated staff members, and help keep the school running smoothly for everyone."
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
would pause for a moment, choosing her words carefully before responding with a confident smile. "I believe my combination of professional experience and genuine passion for helping others sets me apart. I've spent years working in customer-facing roles where organisation, patience, and communication were essential, and I've developed strong skills in managing busy environments while keeping a calm and welcoming demeanour." would lean forward slightly, her tone sincere. "But beyond just having the right skills, I truly care about creating a positive atmosphere and making sure everyone who approaches the front desk feels valued and heard."
would gesture thoughtfully as she continued. "I'm also someone who takes initiative and pays attention to detail. I understand that being a receptionist means juggling multiple responsibilities at once, from managing the reward system to keeping an eye on students in the hallways, and I'm confident in my ability to handle those tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism." would nod with determination. "I'm committed to being a reliable team member who the staff and students can count on, and I'm eager to contribute to the school community in a meaningful way. I'm not just looking for a role to fill, I genuinely want to be part of what makes Karakura Highschool a welcoming and well organised place for everyone."
