How do you go about playing SRP again when you've stopped playing for over a year and lost all the friends and mutuals you used to play with and now you're to anxious to actually roleplay with anyone? hahah, asking for a friend....

I was the same way for a while, all of my friends quit SRP so I took a small hiatus and basically came back to knowing nobody - I decided to literally throw myself out there and applied for some factions, and that's the best way to do it if you're too anxious to take the first step of roleplay in my opinion. Good way to kick-start everything again

Coming from experience, once you're gone, they'll no longer care, so who gives a F about what a bunch of roleplayers think of you? Just do your own thing

I'm in the same boat. (4 year break) I feel so out of place compared to before. Also, is it just me, or is everyone using LOOC more nowadays than they used to? It feels like every IC conversation gets stopped after a minute so everyone can start chatting OOCly which is not what I'm here for. Feels more like I'm invading on an actual OOC friend group rather than an RP IC group for my character to talk to.
